Wow, I can't believe how clean this taco bell is, never have I seen one this nice. The grey and black flooring its so freshly done. The inside of this place is so aesthetically pleasing. The woman who kept the floors clean and the tables clean was completely on point. Those light colored floors were nice and smooth. They have a touch screen order section that you can look thru if you don't want to interact with Humans. I like that I can type my own name clearly so they don't call me Luis instead of Louise. Why doesn't Starbucks have this kind of thing? They lost a star because when I was called as making eye contact with the lady handing my food she impatiently called out my name. She saw there was a cup on my table and didn't want to hand me my cup. Like lady I'm not stealing a $1 cup of soda relax. Before my friend could get up she called his name over 3 times, like relax it isn't even packed. Aside, from the rudenesa from one staff lady it was simply greating eating here. I live that all the seating matches I swear the grey is so pretty and fresh looking on the seats. I lived the little black chairs and the center seating area that had spots to hold your jacket. You'll love the fact you can plug in your phone to charge. They use outlets and usb ports, big win guys. ::BathRoom Alert:: Super Duper Clean bathroom. I just wish they had paper towels to clean your hands. I refused to use an air dryer due to germs. The bathrooms are also unisex and family friendly. There's a baby station in the bathroom closest to the register. Shh don't tell anyone the code to the bathroom is 123456. I definitely see myself coming back here. I feel bad for leaving one star. I've been coming here weekly for the past 2 months and the service is consistent: accurate orders (even with customizations) and speedy preparation time. I order through the app and pick up in store. Part of me was sad that the Taco Bell on Steinway had closed but this new location is definitely nicer! I like the fact they have kiosks to order your food. I was starting to use the kiosk but one of the items my friend had asked me to order for him wasn't on it. I ended up ordering from the counter and the cashier was very helpful. The service was very fast! (I mean, I know it is a fast food establishment but the service was faster than the old location). There is very good seating room as well. I ordered food via Uber Eats. The receipt had the correct order on it but inside the bag was a completely incorrect order. I received absolutely NOTHING that I had ordered. When I called the restaurant to ask for a refund the manager laughed and said "give me your credit card number then" and kept pestering me for my credit card number. Whoever hired him is a GD idiot because he's either sick in the head or a scammer. So no order, and talked to a scummy manager who refused to do anything to fix it. Nice work team! read more

How much money does it cost to slap a bit more protein on your food so its not a plane tortilla or beans taco. Its absolutely trash. No sauce nothing. just DRY, you'll find yourself in severe dehydration 3 bites into your meal. The dam meal costed near 30 dollars and i felt like i just paid 30 dollars for 10 sheets of tortilla and some lettuce. Absolute embarrassment. You'd get more value getting some Popeyes or McDonalds. It's a nice clean space and food is fine. I also like that they're open so late everyday in case I get out of work at midnight and want a snack coming home. But this location is weirdly expensive for a taco bell and they don't have everything. I've gone to this location several occasions and order the same thing, the black bean Crunchwrap. It typically comes with nacho cheese, my last visit I asked them to swap it out and use regular cheese (like the quesadilla cheese). I got charged a dollar for this and when I start eating my Crunchwrap I'm like where is my cheese?!? I open my crunch wrap and the guy who made mine was SUPER STINGY. i found myself watching the afc football playoff game at taco bell in astoria steps near the ditmars train station instead of a sports bar and it worked out great. i like the new hip interior decor of taco bell as it has transition away from the old drab look. plenty of seating with side counter tables, stools , communal tables and bench tables front , center and back . a new cool gimmick is self ordering tablets that are easy to use via credit cards only . i prefer to order the old fashion way person to person which you can do in the extreme back of store which is semi hidden. the typical americanize mex food items are available and menu board is easy to understand. from the time i put my order in to the time i recieved my food was less then 3 minutes and that aint bad . they prepare the food in plain view and i counted 13 taco bell workers behind the counter which explains the very quick service . my order was correct and overall food is ok for fast food standards . i was lucky cause i was able to snag a table right near a large screen tv so i was able to watch the game without being ask to leave .taco bell near ditmar blvd gets 4 stars on my yelp meter . read more

Overall decent quality for Taco Bell, easy touch screen ordering and quick prep. However, they always forget to give you your fountain drink. You have to stop them and ask every single time. You could literally never order a drink and ask for a cup and they will probably give it to you without looking and based on muscle memory as it seems that their ordering screens cannot display beverages in employee view or something. Lastly this place is waaaaay too expensive. A bean burrito is pushing $3!!! These things have gone up over 2x the regular rate of inflation! A ridiculous price even for Manhattan and they are in freaking queens. Everything else that has a fancy name or sour cream is $4.99 per item. The nerve. I feel more dirty ordering this stuff than evacuating this stuff. They are greedy as heck and charge per calorie it seems. So load up on free fire sauce packets and get a 10 pound side of iceberg lettuce to not feel brutally ripped off. Oh and get that free soda too.
