    Chicken tacos, traditional
    Ashley J.

This is a cool little food truck that I've seen around Baltimore. I personally tried the spa when they were located at Ministry Brewing on a weeknight. I found the prices to be a little bit steep for the quality and quantity of food. Three chicken tacos were $12 and they came with a little bit of onion, a little bit of lime, and chicken. There are two options for your tacos, one is the American way, and one is the traditional way. The American way comes with lettuce and cheese, and the traditional way came with the onion blend that I got. The sauces that came with the tacos were good. The meat itself was well seasoned as well. Despite all this I was still hungry after the third taco so I feel like they could've possibly added a side or something just to make the meal more fulfilling. Alternatively it should be allowed to get lettuce and onion on your tacos

As a certified fat boy, I found that this was a pleasant surprise for a cold afternoon at the Maryland Department of Transportation (Mdot), food truck day. The young lady that took my order was no business and ready to work...greatly appreciated since it was a little nippy outside in the parking lot. I got the chicken tacos and chips and salsa. Spicier than I'm used too getting, but good to say the least. I hope they're on Mdot's food truck rotation next month.

I absolutely love the taco bar, so I was surprised to come to their Yelp page and find their rating was so low. Everything I've sampled from the truck as been awesome! The food is very reasonably price and the service is great! Highly recommended!

Cheese quesadilla- not melted, still shredded.

Ordering started out painful as the cashier girl was extremely rude and unprofessional. Food just satisfied our base hunger- steak tacos were not great - everything but the meat was ok- the beef was bland, quesadilla was not even melted, side of black beans tasted salt-less. 2 stars for the food.

dirtiest, greasy bottom of box (no bag)

Not professional, not polite. The young woman running the register couldn't recommend a dish and was later offended when I didn't drop my phone call (20 ft away from the truck) to run over and grab my food when she called me. No, they were not busy at all. What an attitude. Wrong job for this girl. Sorry I had already included the tip in the CC transaction. I had their jerk shrimp tacos. Shrimp were just ok, lacking in jerk (except the cashier). And if shrimp is going to be served in a taco, they need to be cooked a little longer. Soft/soggy shrimp may be correct for pasta, but not in a taco. Also, look at the pic of the BOTTOM of the food box. There is grease all over it & pieces of food-druff. How is it possible they got it that dirty by accident?

Taco Bar participates in my church's Food Truck Tuesday's. Every Tuesday 4pm-8pm they can be found at The Church at Severn Run, April through October. I do know you can find them at other food truck events. I've read previous reviews and Taco Bar must have stepped their food game up! Everything is freshly made. Chicken burrito bowls and shrimp tacos are two of my nieces favorites. Taco Bar is the only food truck they eat from. The rice which comes with most meals, is a spicy jalapeno rice. It has a nice kick and will definitely make you sweat! Prices are reasonable, food is plentiful. One of my family's favorite food trucks. If you see their blue trucks around town, go!

Carnitas tacos Mexican style - $12

I'd previously rated this truck 4 stars, but I'm downgrading it to 3 stars. The prices have gone up in the past few years and the quality of the food, which was not great to start with, has stayed the same. $16 for 3 carnitas tacos and a side of beans is a bit ridiculous. The red "taco sauce" tastes more like marinara than any Mexican salsa I've ever had. I'm not expecting exceptionally authentic food, but for what they're charging, it should at least be convincing. Don't get me wrong, the food is not bad, hence the 3 stars. You just wouldn't need to look very hard to find better tacos at a better price elsewhere.

Wow! So, this truck comes to my job once a week & I totally ignored it each week. But today, I smelled these fries that got me craving. I ordered the fries and this grilled shrimp special they had posted. Well, it was awesome! The shrimp were huge, perfectly grilled & the sauce had a great flavor and a little kick. Can't wait till next Tuesday!

A good food truck experience. I was at a local food truck event and decided to give this truck my business. The staff were very nice and the food was hot! I had the crab and shrimp burrito bowl and it was quite good, if you enjoy spicy seafood. The only recommendation I would make is to serve less rice and more yummy toppings.

    Blackened Shrimp Tacos
    Liz V.

Caught the food truck at Manor Hill Brewery. Everything sounded delicious but I ended up getting the Blackened Shrimp Tacos. They were a little on the spicy side, which lingered a little long, but they were still delicious! The shrimp was cooked perfectly and the tortillas were fresh. Highly recommend if your looking for some delicious tacos!

This is my second time trying taco truck and it will be my last. Food trucks are always a little pricey and this is no exception. 3 tacos for $13. Both times I got the steak tacos. They were good but the price tag is a little steep. My husband ordered the tropical shrimp tacos. Not good. Not worth the price tag either. A couple shrimp and a tangy sauce. We also ordered a side of fries and it was so disappointing. I took a pic of those. The grease was so old you can see pic below. Unfortunately I was starving and didnt take a pic of the tacos.

The only thing I could eat was the cheese quesadilla. The chicken and pork had no taste. No cilantro as described and stale onions.

Each taco is extremely fresh and I can tell that it was crafted meticulously in the kitchen. Be mindful that each taco is priced separately and you get a single taco ranging from $10.00 - 15.00. The guacamole is fresh and garnished with strawberries. Personally, I typically go for a spicier and more flavorful guac, but if you opt for a fresh and simple dish, then it certainly checks the box. The queso is thick, cheesy, and topped with peppers. I personally could appreciate a creamier queso, but I will say the dish looks and smells amazing. The oysters are rather small in size but they're extremely fresh and come topped with a jalapeño. My expectations for the drinks were a bit higher than what they delivered. Drinks tasted a bit watery and the flavor wasn't as potent (this says a lot for someone like myself who is pretty light weight). Service was fairly accommodating, however, keep in mind that they enforce a rule of having half of your party there prior to seating you. Also be mindful that their menu changes to dinner at 5:00PM, and seating at the outside bar may be closed depending on when you arrive. My favorite of all the dishes was the was the Al Pastor taco! I'd like to give this place another try because just based off of the aesthetic alone it has sooo much potential to be absolutely amazing!

The server helped us figure it out and we were set. I ordered the El pastor tacos, beans & rice, and tortilla chips. The tacos were theeee best! What I loved the most is that the corn tortillas didn't fall apart!!! I hate it when I go to eat a taco and it falls apart. They cooked the tortillas enough so they held up, but were still soft. Did I already say how good the tacos were?! Along with the meat is cilantro, some onions, and you can top it with some green chili sauce. Sooooo good! The pico de Gallo was some of the best I've ever had. I know what you're thinking. How could you go wrong with pico de Gallo? Yeah, I wonder the same thing, but this pico was FRESH with just the right ratio of tomato, onion, cilantro, etc. Next time I'll order two of them. The chips are restaurant-made. That was our first indicator that the food was going to be ALL that we hoped it would be. AND it was. The beans were pinto beans. Memories from home and the ultimate comfort food. The were cooked perfectly with just enough seasoning. The rice was perfectly cooked too. This is the taco spot you need to try.
