My husband and I stopped in for lunch and truly couldn't believe the variety of protein options on the menu, let alone the colorfully-fresh toppings available. We tried a Pier Bowl with chicken shawarma and all the delicious add-ons I wanted. My husband got a falafel wrap and a shawarma wrap -- both were beautifully prepared and even yummier to eat. Small place putting out phenomenal food. Very customizable, pick your protein and sauce for a bowl, salad, or wrap form. Falafel wrap was great, good size with a good mix of veggies. HIGHLY recommend the cilantro lime sauce, that put the wrap over the top. Small interior with a few tables outside, plenty of parking. Crazy great. *CRAZY* great! Almost everyone fails at falafel, but not this place; it's bright green from parsley, fluffy and cronchy, none of the dense hockey puck yucks so many other Mediterranean places fail on (the owner, Oscar, mentioned there's no wheat flour in it, thus it's gluten-free). The deep, umami tahini sauce served with it paired beautifully, and so did the garlic spread. For out first time in, my brother and dad and I wanted to have as wide a variety as possible, so we ordered the "small" family meal with beef, chicken, and gyro meat, quinoa and brown rice, salad, with cilantro sauce and tzatziki sauce for the main sauces. We added on the four falafel ala carte, and Oscar gave us some small samples of the whipped garlic and chimichurri to taste. The shwarma-style chicken was deeply marinated, ultra juicy, the gyro meat was perfectly spiced and savory, the beef was pretty good, but we were in love with the chicken, gyro, and falafel. Every sauce went great on basically every protein, and *every* sauce was better than the last. Ordering individual bowls is going to be very difficult! Oscar is a super-welcoming, affable guy, happy to talk about the food and guide you through all the choices. Wow, this place "slaps" (for you Gen Z'ers)! Amazing food quality. The chef was preparing the chicken on the grill when I came in, so I knew it was going to be fresh. The veggies / sides look clean and well prepared. I had a build your own bowl, and everything tasted phenomenal. The service was also outstanding. The chef came out and answered some ingredients questions I had about the dressings, and the lady working the counter was friendly and accommodating. Small, locally owned shop in San Clemente. Chimichurri sauce was phenomenal. Falafel's were tasty and cooked perfectly. Soft opening for three weeks with limited menu, but looking forward to trying steak kebab and gyros. The chicken is so good - flavorful and tender and even my toddler enjoys it even though she refuses to eat any other chicken. The other items are equally as delicious- loved the hummus, tabouli side, the salad with the standard lemon dressing, and even the lettuce leaves are fresh! Wow stopped here because Mediterranean sounded good and we were NOT disappointed. Great portion sizes for the price. Mostly though the flavor was incredible. All the sauces were amazing. Tabouli was so fresh. I loved the feta with the garlic paste. Meats were very tender and not dry at all. Gyro was authentic. It all tastes very fresh.
