I happened to be having a lunch at the Mexican restaurant next door and chose to walk into this business after I finished my lunch just because they were there. I've eaten at the restaurant next door many times and I've never thought about going into this toy store in the past. They have a lot of fun things in the store. Probably something for everyone in basic kinds of games. I settled on a puzzles as well as a Trivia game. They had a really good special going on where you could buy a puzzle and get 1 for 50% off. However, I didn't take advantage of that because I just wanted the one puzzle. The store had quite a few shoppers in, and was a bit congested. Good for the business, and expected this time of year. But, I actually was in-and-out of the store so fast that I did not spend enough time to assess all of their offerings in order to have made a really good judgment. I'm very happy they were there to support my last minute Christmas game shopping need for my family and friends.

My son immediately was drawn to the cars and put a few on the table to look at them. I was looking around the store at things I could buy my son and also for anything that might delight my husband. The woman working, went over and started snatching the cars from the table my child was at. He had placed six cars on the table top. I came back over and told my son to help put the cars back and that he could only look at one at a time. I sat in the adult chair at the table and asked him which car he liked the best. (I was going to buy him one along with a Playmobil Pirates set.) The woman came back and asked if we were ready to leave. She had a horrible attitude and said that children are not welcome AT ALL TOY STORE. I cannot imagine a worse attitude for retail, let alone being a toy store so unwelcoming and rude to children. We left immediately without purchasing what we had planned to buy and as I was buckling my son into his car seat, the woman (she was older with a bad blonde dye job) had the audacity to stand at the door of the shop scowling. Never again.

Tacoma was out but the sweet sales associates offered to order or call Seattle. I overheard them on the phone confirming various sizes. So I thanked them & drove up to Seattle. I noticed the Seattle location didn't have the sizes I was told, I asked the guy in charge of frames/ stretchers and he claimed I asked for one size then showed me a different brand from what was confirmed over the phone, a heavy duty variety. When I expressed frustration of being told the wrong thing, he walked off pouting, didn't offer to order any for me like Tacoma did. Not wanting to leave empty handed I grabbed a couple off sizes so I can work. On my way to check out, I informed my friend of what just occured and placed the stretchers at the register. The clerk said "You need to check out over there, Sir." My flabbers were gasted! My monocle popped out! I said "Sir? I'm not a sir!". This was strange and shocking to me. So I went to the proper clerk saying "They just called me Sir. What part of me gives man? I've never been called a man." So yeah I'm mad confused as to why my petite, adorable self in pink & lilac got called a man by someone who would not appreciate being misgendered themselves.... On Pride weekend of all times. And why wasn't I offered to have the supplies ordered for me like in Tacoma? Basically I received a wild goose chase, a bad attitude, lied to about what I overheard confirmed on the phone, and casually misgendered by Seattle staff. Very sad since I prefer supporting local. The Tacoma shop is a vibe with kind, helpful staff. I'll stick with them and Jerry's Art a Rama online. Apparently several reviews report bad behavior from staff over the past year or so. Don't need the funky ahh attitude when I just wanna create.

I didn't know that the business had changed hands, and I showed up with my heavy boxes of comic books that I had heaved into my car to bring there. The new owner wasn't interested in buying any more comics, but he honored the previous owner's arrangement, and bought my comic books from me anyway. I told him that I understood and that I wasn't angry, but he came in early just to look over my comic books and buy them in order to honor an agreement that wasn't even his. While he was looking them over, I looked around the store, and they have a nice selection of comics and memorabilia. It's definitely worth a visit.

Meh. Used to have a…read morehalf dozen short boxes of Silver and Bronze Age books at the counter, haven't seen them for 3 years. A handful of slabbed modern "keys" and variants behind the counter - occasionally an actual key, but overpriced. New comic racks guarantee nothing better than a 9.4. No bags and boards for new comics, and to remove a book, you have to bend it. Last time I was there, there were aisles of loose new books, mostly modern variants and stuff that hasn't sold. Lots of toys and figures, if you're into that. Good selection of old filler Copper books for your runs in the back issue bins. Maybe worth a peek once a year, maybe if they moved out of the mall, they could lower their prices and give the new issue racks 2" of vertical space to preclude getting new books in VF/NM.

This is easily the best model shop i've been to. It has a large selection of just about anything…read moreyou would need for modeling and is very well stocked. The prices here aren't bad at all either. The employees are very friendly too. In fact, the only reason why i rated 4 stars vs. 5 is because of the time in which you can shop here, being open for only 4hrs a day and closed Sunday-Monday. Other than that though, I absolutely loved this shop. I will most definitely come back in the near and far future for models and related products alike!

I recently got into the Gundam hobby and thought it was time to check this store out. The interior is small but packed with stock, and a few very impressive display cases containing some great scale models. There were several other customers in the store and the owner/operator had a good report with all of them. He took time to talk with me and answer my questions and was very friendly and knowledgeable. I really appreciated his tips and advice. Hike the store is small it has a very good selection of model lines and models. It even had a few premium boxes which I was excited to see. Beyond the models there was also a very good selection of hobby tools paints and supplies. I will absolutely be coming back here and can't recommend it highly enough.
