On our September vacation, we visited this establishment on the Tuesday after Labor Day. All in all, my wife and I were very impressed by the ; staff, food and atmosphere. I had a custom Margarita and my wife had a glass of wine. Portions for the food and beverages were perfect. The waitress was very informative and kind. Greeted by Heather the owner at the door who was a pleasure to speak to and she shared her passion for locally sourced and house made ingredients and it really shines through in the chefs execution of the food. We have the bread bowl, ceaser salad, my wife and I had the wok tempeh and noodles. This restaurant is an oasis in a sea of mediocrity. A majority of the produce comes from the owners' farm right in the valley. It is literally pulled from the ground and brought to the kitchen. Each dish is prepared with attention and care by the chef. The seasonal menu has a range of flavorful options - including multiple vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free dishes. The lobster fried quinoa is the greatest thing you'll ever put in your mouth. The bar offers a wine selection that you can't find in the liquor store, a pilsner on tap brewed exclusively for them by Peak, and house created bitters and infusions go into their inspired cocktails. Their world class head baker makes all the breads and pastries for the restaurant and cafe/grocer next door fresh daily. Great for a romantic date or a night with friends. My fiancé and I were a bit disappointed that the beer came from a can and the ambiance is a cross between someone's grandmothers kitchen and a Cracker Barrel. Finally a great little restaurant in North Conway that has excellent food for a vegetarian but is great for those who are not! My parents go out to eat weekly in North Conway and I go with them a few times a month. Generally I am limited to the 'veggie burger' or a 'risotto' adjusted for me at a local restaurant. NOT so at Table and Tonic which had several vegetarian options as well as great options for my parents who enjoy more traditional cuisine. They enjoyed mussels for appetizers and Maine Blue Fish for an entree. The vegetables come from a local garden (permaculture -- a step above organic). The food is well-prepared and beautifully presented. There is a full bar as well. The waitstaff is very attentive, willing to make adjustments to your order and readily takes suggestions. It will definitely be a 'regular' restaurant for us going forward. PS - I lived in NYC for years and feel 'starved' up in New Hampshire for good restaurants that serve creative food -- so happy to find Table and Tonic read more

Coming to North Conway has been a tradition for me and my family the past few years. We happen to find Table + Tonic and thought we'd try it out for breakfast. The atmosphere is awesome with super kind people. Anna is amazing and very accommodating. The coffee and food were delicious . We started with Lattes which were phenomenal. We had a group of 6 with a baby and they had no issues seating us right away. Service was quick and the food was fresh. Our table got a range of different dishes. We had the most lovely dinner here this past Saturday after a day of skiing at Wildcat. We specifically chose T+T due to its vegan options and the many positive prior reviews from other vegan diners. We were not disappointed. We started out with the delicious vegan Caesar salad. While very simple, the dressing had an excellent flavor and the crunchy chickpeas were fantastic and offered a nice textural contrast. We ordered one of each of the vegan entrees: the chickpea loaf as well as the surf and turf (tempeh and mushrooms). Both were wonderful: flavorful and hearty without being greasy and heavy. It was refreshing to eat such well-executed and wholesome vegan meals. Thank you for not relying on processed vegan products and / or a deep fryer! We would gladly have ordered a dessert as well had their been a non-chocolate option on the menu. Please keep the vegan options coming. We can't wait to come back! read more

I liked this place so much I ended up going twice for breakfast during my stay in North Conway. We decided to try it on a whim because the menu seemed really interesting and there were several dishes on the breakfast menu that caught my eye. We decided to pay a visit before our scenic train ride, and we were surprised to find it pretty empty both times we came by. The first day, I ordered a yuzu mimosa, the creme brulee French toast, and a side of home fries. The yuzu mimosa was fantastic and I will order it again when I return in the future as long as it stays on the menu. I was excited to see something flavored with yuzu as outside of Asian foods, it's an uncommon flavor. The creme brulee French toast was made with challah bread and it was hearty and filling. The portion was very large and I couldn't finish it, but it was so delicious and I was glad I ordered it. The home fries were seasoned very well and paired well with their ketchup, which tasted like it was homemade. If it wasn't, I'll be shocked because it was delicious. My fiancé ordered the Buffalo Soldier burrito, which I tasted and it was delicious. He really enjoyed it and says he would order it again. There was something else on the menu that I really wanted to try, so I decided I needed to come back for it. The second day, I ordered a smoothie which I don't remember everything that was in it, but it contained matcha and fruit juices and I am all about those two things. It was very tasty and refreshing and paired nicely with my breakfast. For my breakfast entree, I decided I need to come back for the salmon bagel. The grain bagel itself was very pleasant and tasty, and the cream cheese was nice. The gravlox was fantastic and I would definitely order other menu items featuring it. The capers and pickled onions really brought the whole thing together and it is a bagel I will definitely be thinking about until I go back to Table + Tonic. This time, my fiancé had a breakfast sandwich with ham and he thoroughly enjoyed it. I also had a bite and would definitely consider ordering it myself. We had the same waitress both times and we were happy to know that she remembered us from our first visit two days before. She was very nice and never made us feel rushed or unwelcome. The restaurant itself is very comfortable and welcoming. It has a very relaxed atmosphere and I found myself feeling at home there. Gorgeous modern-rustic restaurant situated close to the heart of North Conway. It's next to our favorite natural grocery store, so we've passed by it a number of times and decided to go in last night. Our host and server were so kind and welcoming, and we loved the beautiful ambiance, down to the eclectic cloth napkins and miniature flower centerpieces. We had the dandelion/ginger tonic, the charcuterie platter, the scallops main course, and the strawberry crumble for dessert. Everything was of the highest quality and taste. Dinner was dry no taste. Sent meal back.Ordered something else and when bill came I was charged for both meals. Waiter said he couldn't take them anything off but gave us a free dessert. Based on the reviews was expecting great meal. 7pm on a Friday and almost empty should have been a warning to us. Nice outside area and excellent cocktails were a good start but downhill quickly from there. Ordered rib eye and roast chicken as our entrees from very pleasant waitress. While waiting for our meals, the waitress had to apologize to the table behind us for having to redo overcooked steak and then it was overcooked again and she had to comp them. On the other side, someone was expecting pickled beets in their dish and they had to apologize that they had run out but hadn't told them ahead of time. Our dishes came out and we were speechless at the steak presentation. $32 ribeye was less than 1/2 inch thick, if that. Grisly and fatty throughput on a bed of overcooked and mushy vegetables/potatoes. My chicken was ok, a little dry, but the yams accompanying it were cold as they must have been preplated. No one came to ask us how the meal was, probably expecting the worst. We subscribe to the 'one and done' philosophy vs making a stink. At that point the meal was so bad we were literally laughing and saying that we could have gotten better food at an Applebee's for half the price! Even one star is too many for this meal- read more
