What a difference a year makes. We ate here in June of 2023 and it was awesome. The food was to die for. The ambiance was elegant. The service made you feel like you were in a different economic class. Even with the desserts, they made sure you had a cup of coffee without even asking. You left wondering if this was a Michelin restaurant or hired Michelin chefs. Well, that changed a year later. We couldn't wait to eat here in June 2024. This was a must go to spot for us while we were on vacation. To start it off, the teenager that was our hostess moved slower than a sloth. The waitress should have been sent home sick because she was hacking the entire time. She even admitted that she was under the weather. My wife and I got the special and there was absolutely nothing special about it. The presentation was so-so and the taste was horrible. The risotto was way over cooked and made it down right disgusting which ruined the rest of the meal. I got a dessert and my wife ordered one as well. The waitress brought one back with two spoons. Mine was crazy big. After I was half way through mine, I asked the waitress about my wife's dessert and she looked shocked. She did apologize, but I was finished with mine before my wife got hers. My wife's dessert looked like it came off of an infant menu. Not sure how you have one dessert that is fitting for two people and another that isn't enough for a six year old. We weren't even even offered coffee. The music was getting cranked up pretty loud. We couldn't even hold a conversation sitting 2 feet apart. The attention to detail is no longer there. For a silly example, they had a curtain open the entire time showing a messy storage area. Neither of us ever got a refill. It no longer puts you in mind of a Michelin restaurant, but an expensive corner bar. I think the chef from June of 2023 might have went to the Beaufort Grocery Company, a much better restaurant, which will get a 5 stars from us. This place use to be the sh*t and now it is not. This goes beyond losing a good chef or having a chef that just doesn't care anymore. Something seriously happened in a years time. Save yourself over a $100 for a meal. I made this account just to make this review. I am not one to complain, but I was thoroughly disappointed. Let me clarify the food amazing. The ambience great. The service however is the problem. I sat at the bar last night and was taken care of by Leslie (I hope I remember the name correctly). Her don't give a f*** attitude ruined my time there. She was rude, inattentive, and overall acted as if she did not want to be there and the customers were just an inconvenience. Other customers noticed as well and one individual who eats thee regularly said she is always like this. I will not be coming back. If at any point she stops working there I'll come back the place has potential, It was my server that ruined it. read more

Great spot for dinner. I was hoping the food would be on point, since we had a 45 min wait. Table 9 did not disappoint. The food was very good and came out hot. For appetizers, we had oyster rockfella and chargrilled oysters which were both great and fresh. The lamb chops and seafood linguine was excellent. Definitely will be back. read more

Had the best dinner this trip to Atlantic Beach this evening. Cayla, our waitress was wonderful. The food was perfectly prepared and so tasty. We had two orders of Grouper over Capellini, one Lobster Ravioli, and one Rib Eye (grilled over charcoal). The Bourbon/Whiskey list is lengthy; we opted for Four Roses which was lovely. In addition, we ordered a Mojito, a Vodka Martini, and a French Martini. Everything was perfect. And lastly, a special dessert of a Lemon Meringue cake was a shared delicious treat. The four of us, on our last evening in Atlantic Beach were very happy with our choice to dine at this restaurant and will definitely return. read more

Selections we had tonight. African Pompano with Risotto and green beans Seafood pasta with Scallops, Shrimp, and Mahi Crab dip with pita chips Childrens fried tenders Grilled chicken House salad. Everything we had was excellent. The sides and even the kids tenders were great. Pompano and Risotto were on point and the Pasta had huge plump shrimp, scallops were tender and not fishy, and Mahi was fresh and tender. Came at 4:30 were seated promptly with 6 people. Definitely one of the best restaurants in Atlantic beach. We had the calamari (that mango sriracha aioli-amazing), crab stuffed mahi and the yellowtail tuna (probably the best I've had). Service was amazing (Joe was great) and the ambiance and drinks were perfect. read more

We had chargrilled oysters that were really delicious, but only 5 oysters for $16. Next, we had the ahi tuna and the crab stuffed grouper. $28 ahi and $34 grouper. The rice was less than desirable. Less than desirable! Food is over priced as if it were a New York Restaurant. (I mean really? The restaurant is in a parking lot with Food Lion!) Great placement morons! We went to table 9 for the first and last time last night. The purple haired manager by the name of Roxy is nasty and belongs in the back doing the dishes rather than speaking or sitting patrons. I wanted to order take out so she politely gave me a menu. We went home reviewed the "Take Out" menu and made our choices from the menu. I called four or five times and there was no answer. I am pretty sure that Roxy was just staring at the phone while it was ringing. Probably day dreaming about her next hair color or poorly done tattoo. So, because Roxy or none of the other staff have been educated in answering a regular land line, I had to drive over To the restaurant and place My "Take Out" order in person. When I got to the front desk, Roxy was wandering around barking orders Pretending to be a manager. Instead, I was greeted by a nice person that took my order. This individual even told me that Roxy was a crazy person. He placed my order and as he turned towards me, Roxy popped out of nowhere and said your take out will take 25 minutes. I turned to her and said, well if you had answered the phone, I would have had my food by now! Well, let me tell you! My reaction really pissed off Roxy and she actually took a step towards me as if she was going to confront me. She backed off and very rudely said we aren't doing take out tonight! I replied, well then why didn't you tell me when I asked for the take out menu! First impression! Food was mediocre and over priced. Roxy should be fired because of her attitude problem. Restaurant is in a parking lot, patrons are tourists! The Mexican restaurant is 10 times better than Table 9. (Same parking lot!) Avoid this place like the plague! However, take advantage of the parking, that is all the space is good for! Roxy change your attitude as well as your hair color. (Or go back to barber school) You might be a happier person! Loved my dining experience at Table 9. Wyatt was our server. He answered all of my questions about the menu with courtesy and enthusiasm. He was very attentive to our needs. My meal was amazing!!! The filet tips melted in my mouth. The shrimp were cooked to perfection. I thoroughly enjoyed every savory bite. I would definitely return. Overall the experience was "ok"... We were sat quickly and the server was nice. Drinks were good. However, the food itself was pretty mediocre and the cost is high. The lobster ravioli was suggested by the server but when it arrived it wasn't actually lobster ravioli, but normal cheese ravioli with steamed shrimp and only very small lobster scraps in the sauce. To call it Lobster Ravioli at $32 is a bit of a stretch... Maybe "Ravioli and Shrimp with a Lobster Cream Sauce" is more fitting. The rice with the Mahi meal was bland, the zucchini fries were cold and my child's pasta plate was just plain pasta, no salt, no butter. Overall not likely a spot we will return to for dinner, maybe just drinks. read more

When we got to Table 9 we were sat at a nice table and had ample room to relax. Our waitress, Jess was outgoing and knew the menu inside and out. We had a party of 6. We made reservations and were pleasantly greeted and seated immediately. The hostess was very cordial and professional. We then were greeted warmly by Cayla, our server. We all had cocktails which were spot on. We were surprised that every order came out perfect even though Cayla didn't write anything down. She then gave us detailed descriptions of the specials which sounded delicious. One in our party had the Osso Buco, 2 had the ribeye another had the fruiti de mar, another had lamb chops and one had another special. All were served promptly and the timing was 5 star. We also had salads prior and the portions were perfect. We couldn't stop raving about the food. We are from Cape Carteret and USED to make Carib Sea in Emerald Isle our special dinner out but this exceeded our expectations regarding price, service and gourmet food preparation and our group is typically hard to please. There's also a beautiful expansive bar and an area for private parties. Everyone agreed It's worth the 35 minute drive. So ignore all the negative reviews and come with great expectations. This was one of the most disappointing meals I've had in a very long time. Baked capris had cheap cheese and oregano. It made it taste like a cheap high school cafeteria pizza. My partners shrimp and tips could not be more flat and devoid of flavor and my bacon wrapped scallops and grits could not have been more underwhelming. The side chipotle honey glaze was nothing but sugar and heat. I'm so glad I asked for it on the side. The Tito's martini with the blue cheese stuffed olives was a little like drinking nail polish remover- I should have upgraded the vodka. Lesson learned. Tonight was one of the best meal experiences I have had on The Crystal Coast, and I have been coming here for 20+ years. I have watched this building transform from one unsuccessful venture into the next over the years, but this time it provides a truly special dining experience. The furnishings have been modernized both inside and out and the lighting sets the perfect ambience. There is a variety of seafood entrees and plenty for land lubbers as well. Our group enjoyed the selection of drinks and appetizers and our server would not allow any of our glasses to reach the half full mark before topping them off. We were a party of 6 on a Sunday and were seated after walking in at 7 pm in around 15 minutes. My wife and I shared perfectly prepared calamari to start. She enjoyed scallops seared with pork belly and I had the catch of the day - a slightly blackened swordfish with a sweet chili lime sauce. The fish was grilled to perfection and topped with mango chutney and served over wild rice. Both entrees were spectacular and the bill came in under $100. We will be back! read more

Fantastic seafood restaurant. Pricing is medium to high, but the service is excellent. Seating without any wait during the week. Food is excellent. My husband and I shared a Portobello Mushroom appetizer which was very good. He had the scallops and I tried the swordfish special over risotto with very large zucchini for the very first time. Swordfish has mild flavor but with a little tang from the sauce. Both were excellent. My husband ordered coffee after the meal and was presented with a very large cup of "jo" Very fine service. Drinks were strong but delicious and great service. My only small critique would be they have a beautiful patio with tables outside but they don't serve food there.
