    Nice view, terrible service.

Worst service I have ever received. We waited at our table for 2 hours. Crab dip was S L O W, but good. Fish and chips and grouper sandwich never came. Flagged down the waitress when said the fish and chips had been under the "warmer" for half an hour. Just waiting on my fish sandwich. Paid for our app and 2bdrinks and left. NEVER coming back.

Some items were hit and misses The crab cake dish was amazing But the shrimp in the boils were visibly dirty Honestly only giving it a good rating bc the staff was on doing the best despite the high turnout that night and the fact we did not have reservations yet we were seated within the hour

Great location, forgettable dining experience. We sat on the upper deck and did not receive service for about 20 minutes despite having a reservation. Both parties on either side of us were seated and had drinks well after we arrived. I decided against ordering a bar drink due to this timeframe (we didn't get a drink menu to look at during this time either). When I went inside to use the bathroom there was a large group of waitstaff near the kitchen door. I think they just forgot to tell someone we were there honestly. The food was then okay. Prices did not reflect to their online menu by about $10 more for the steam pots. Will be looking for other choices next time we are in town.

My plate had a big chip in it.

The food was awful. Steaks and lobster were rubbery, conch fritters were burnt, hard & greasy, steamed little necks were covered in old bay seasoning, fried tomatoes pretty bad. My plate had a big chip. Service started off ok & went downhill. While my husband helped my mom down all the stairs to the car, I waited for her to return to bring the check. It was not handicap accessible, a lot of stairs for my 82 yr old mom. It was loud with dishes being dropped. For the price $223 & expect a tip of minimum of $50. I have never gave a bad review before. So disappointed.

We enjoy Atlantic Beach and our visits to Crab's Claw Oceanfront Restaurant and love the ambiance and service.

Crabs Claw is located right on Atlantic Beach, next to public parking which was very convenient. We made reservations for the top deck and were seated relatively quickly. When we were sat, it took about 20 minutes to be served, only after my husband asked another person on the wait staff if we could get our drink order taken. We noticed a lot of the people around us with empty drinks and wait staff having a lot of apologies for how long things were taking. We put in an order of conch fritters, which were okay. The sauce with them was an orange/pineapple sauce. My husband got a blackened mahi sandwich which he said was a little dry. I got a steam pot. I felt like the crab was a little over cooked, but overall it was tasty. Nice view on the top deck but probably wouldn't be back any time soon due to the service and mediocre food.

This is maybe my second visit to Crabs claw, normally the wait can get long but I learned you can call to make a reservation not sure if that's new but good to know. Overall a great experience, ~30min wait for 4 to sit outside. It was a really windy day (20mph+) but they had things weighted down well on the tables. Not overly busy but our waitress was covering a lot, and still able to keep a good check on us. Only reason for 4* was due to the app taking awhile, and being pretty small and no complementary hush puppies! Would still visit again all of the food was very well prepared

Absolutely loved the Blackened Red Snapper. Spectacular and perfectly seasoned. Great location right on the waterfront and great service too with accommodations on the patio. Highly recommend.

We made a reservation for dinner. We had a short wait while they got our table ready. We were thrilled to eat outside in the upper deck to enjoy the sunset. We ordered drinks and an order of mussels to share for an appetizer. They were so good! Perfect start for our meal. I ordered the grouper sandwich. It was a generous piece of fish and cooked perfectly. My salad was fresh and tasty! My friends also enjoyed their entrees too. We couldn't leave without a shark fin. I hadn't been to the area in some time and I was so happy to see they still had them on the menu! It was just as good as I remembered too! We had great service the whole visit!

The Crab's Claw does have a great location. On the other hand - my husband was served the wrong beer and the mint leaves in my mojito were rotten before they replaced them. Our lobster bisques were ordinary. The seafood pasta noodles were tough. If you want more than a beer overlooking the beach, we don't recommend it.

This place is the real deal. You definitely pay a lot. However, the food is absolutely worth the price you pay. This is a restaurant that talks the talk and walks the walk. The wedge salads is beyond comprehension how good it is. The bread is transcendent. I got the dry aged steak and my wife got the wagyu. Both were true to definition fine dining. My wife insisted on the truffle fries as a shareable side and by gosh they were the best fries ever had...that being said...wagyu 5oz is $130. You aren't going wrong here. Great meal, great service, worth the time and $$. It is rare to get a good deal and still spend $$$$ these days. This is the spot.

We were down there on overcast chilly Sunday about 11 AM and there wasn't much going on, when we entered and went upstairs, it was quiet and that's what I was thinking the place was going to be dead, but as soon as we opened the door upstairs, you could tell it was a fairly busy place that has some good music and a fun ambience that seemed to attract a variety of people types and ages. It was a little different than I expected since it turned out to be more of a pizza place than a bar, but I had a great time and the food we had was very well prepared, flavorful, filling, and I was blown away by all the different types of breakfast pizza options they had as well as some sandwiches and some quality sides. The staff was very pleasant and super efficient and on a warm day in the summer they would have all of their windows open so you could get a natural breeze and airflow, and I'm sure it would be quite the fun time. Once we were finished, we went downstairs to the lower section and while there was nobody in there and it was dead, you could tell this was the party place during the summer or evenings and weekends, so I will give it another shot when I'm in town next time.

We ordered the Half Chef's Tour, which is their charcuterie, and it was honestly one of my favorite parts of the night. Great variety, really well balanced, and perfect for sharing. It set the tone for the whole meal. The scallop nightly special was perfectly cooked with that golden sear and super tender inside. The rosemary steak had so much flavor and was cooked exactly right. The Brussels were crispy and savory, and even the potstickers were a standout. Nothing felt like an afterthought. Service was perfect for the tapas setting too. Not rushed, we didn't feel over bothered, but not neglected either. Overall, it felt elevated but still comfortable. A great experience without feeling over the top. We'll definitely be back.

We arrived with a reservation (always a wise move), though we were seated immediately, greeted by a gracious host who set our lunch off on the right note. Once settled, we were welcomed by Philip, whose ease and genuine enthusiasm made the experience feel less transactional and more personal. He spoke about the menu with confidence and curiosity, the mark of someone who truly enjoys being there. Drinks came first: my husband ordered a Painkiller easily one of the best we had during our time on the coast while our son stuck with a classic Coke, and I opted for water. As we ordered, it became clear we were leaning fully into the small plates philosophy. When Philip smiled and dubbed us "tapas aficionados," it felt like an acknowledgment rather than a joke and in that moment, we felt perfectly at home. The table filled quickly. Spanish lamb meatballs arrived first, glazed with sriracha and paired with whipped feta and cilantro bold, balanced, and deeply satisfying. Pork pot stickers followed, tender and flavorful, with a soy-ginger dipping sauce and sweet Thai chili providing just the right contrast. The Gambas al Ajillo shrimp bathed in extra-virgin olive oil and garlic, served with crostini, was classic and comforting. But the standout was the Potatoes Bravas: sliced potatoes grilled to a crisp and finished with a spicy brava aioli. They were addictive in the best way, the kind of dish you keep thinking about long after the table is cleared. Circa 81 is polished yet relaxed, clean, and thoughtfully maintained, a place where the food arrives hot, the service feels human, and the atmosphere invites you to linger. It's a restaurant I would happily return to, and one that earned its place among my favorites on the Crystal Coast.
