Came here after several years of gong elsewhere--used to come when it was Mykonos Grill. Pleased to see it still has good food. Had the crab stuffed Mahi and it was very tasty. They subbed the brussel sprouts and grits instead of the primary side dishes and both were good! Grits just a touch dry but very nice gouda flavor. We had dinner at Red Fish tonight, and it was really good. First and foremost, they are super fast. It was a busy night, and they were getting people in and out with very little wait except for very large parties. We opted for first available and ended up on the patio, so there may be more wait time if you're looking to dine indoors in the A/C. We were very happy with our food choices, starting with bacon wrapped scallops. They were so good that I totally neglected to get a picture before we dug in. I had the tuna steak, which had delicious wasabi-based sauce on top. It was not spicy but was tangy. My husband had the shrimp and Gouda grits, which were just divine. Tasted smoky and wonderful! Portion sizes were generous, so we didn't have room for dessert but no doubt would've been great too. This spot is a great choice for lunch or dinner when visiting the area. read more

Mahi is dry so I would skip that one. The plate with seafood and rice was the winner. Decent clam chowder just a bit salty. Maybe there was bacon in it too? Not sure. My mother-in-law ordered the mahi sandwich which is blackened fish. The menu doesn't indicate such but the waitress explained that all their seafood is blackened. The fries were okay but super greasy so maybe they were fried with bacon? Or sitting in the oil a while. I thought this place was pretty good but my mother-in-law hated it. read more

Once of the best meals of our two-week trip! Beautiful location with a very nice outdoor seating area where you can watch the boats on Money Island Bay. We started with fresh fried grouper bites (big yum factor!), next was Seared Sea Scallops - Lightly blackened and topped with a lemon herb grill sauce and the daily fish special - baked Wahoo with a cream and spinach topping, cajun rice and a great cucumber and feta salad. For the first night of our vacation we came here for dinner. It was within walking distance of our hotel so it was very convenient. Once we sat down, we definitely got that beach vacation vibe from sitting outside. We could smell the warm ocean air. first time to the Crystal Coast and we wanted to get out to explore. Stayed in Emerald Isle and traveled to Morehead and Beaufort. Stopped in at Red Fish on our way back to EI. Came early (around 5) and found a spot in the bar area (it was so hot, so didn't want to sit outside, but there is ample outdoor seating) can't remember the bartender/waiters name, but all 3 were awesome! Super attentive and friendly. We got the Red Fish lemonade & a spicy margarita with fish bites (grouper) and calamari. All was excellent. For meals we got the crab stuffed mahi & the mahi blt. Also delicious. Would recommend to anyone who may be vacationing in the area! we will be back for sure! read more

The food here is scrumptious. Best tuna I've had in town. The shrimp tacos were decent, but the sauce was a little off. Shrimp and grits was just plain Delicious. Calamari was mediocre. Service was lovely. I had a new waitress that day and she was extremely nice. She accidentally sent out a wrong plate but the restaurant let us have it and sent out the additional correct one. Ambiance is the only downside. There's nothing special about the ambiance - it's mediocre and has a view of the road. If this restaurant had tables on the water, I'd give it a full 5 stars. read more

Tried this place while attending the Big Rock Blue Marlin tournament. Went to Yelp to get some advice from those that have dined here. Reviews were positive and the pics looked great. Was seated quickly around 530. Disappointed in the menu as there was food pics posted but they didn't serve. Possibly attributed to the large tournament crowd. Staff was polite and quick with drink and food orders. Ordered the crab dip and calamari for starters. Dip was very good but the calamari was a tad bit overcooked for my liking. We had the tuna tacos, crab stuffed mahi, Cajun shrimp and the blacked mahi sandwich. Entrees were OK at best. Nothing that said I want to come back. The stuffed mahi was very bland with only the crab stuffing was adding any flavor and that was just the crab dip. The tuna tacos I saw on the review was medium rare and there were three of them. I got two overcooked tacos. Some pink in them but not very much. My daughter had the Cajun shrimp that had andouille sausage. Not very flavorful and lots of Old Bay seasoning. The shrimp looked and tasted undercooked. One of our party had the blackened mahi sandwich. He said it was good but there was definitely nothing blackened about it. Would we go back, no. I understand the cost of seafood is high but I feel this was not worth the money I paid. Maybe we just had an off meal. read more

My wife and I stopped here since they appeared to have most of their tables available. The hostess told us it would be about a 15 minute wait. No problem. We got the text just a few short minutes later. My wife and I are both senior citizens and I am a disabled veteran, even though I don't look it. The hostess walked us past a bunch of empty tables. She took us into the bar area where they only had the high tables and high stools. I said to her that I can't sit in those high stools and if she could move us to another spot. She told us that she couldn't that all tables were taken. I pointed out the 7 tables that were completely empty on the other side of the glass and she said "Those are all spoken for." So, we got ourselves into the stools. While sitting there, another older couple was brought it and the wife said "We can not sit here, can we sit in there at those tables" and the hostess said "yes, of course." Two older ladies were being seated at the table next to us and before they could even say anything, the hostess walked away. Those two older ladies just left. When looking around, it was obvious they were sitting all of us older patrons at the high tables with high stools. Everybody else left, we were the only suckers that stayed. We were the only two people in the bar area. The food was actually amazing. I am still not sure what kind of fish was on the special, but it was darn good. I don't drink, but I drank two pain killers hoping to ease the pain in my back. As we were walking out, those same tables were still empty. I never felt discriminated against in my life for any reason. But I truly believe they have an issue with older patrons and they discriminate against them. I only gave the waitress a 10% tip, only because of the moron hostess. read more
