Nothing to complain about this restaurant my husband had the 16 ounce ribeye and thought it was…read morevery good. Came with fries, which were excellent. I opted for a cheeseburger - to save room for dessert - it was good however I asked for it to have no pink and it came medium rare. I also asked for no lettuce and it came with lettuce, which was not really a big deal. I just took it off. Desserts were pretty good as well All in all, I think it's a place to go back to if visiting Beaufort

We were so happy to stumble upon this restaurant for our last evening at the Crystal Coast. We…read moredefinitely saved the best for last! When we arrived we were immediately greeted by the valet. They were so pleasant and welcoming. We entered the restaurant and took a seat at the end of the bar. The bartenders were dressed to impress. They didn't have uniforms, but instead nice pants, a pressed collared shirt and a fitted vest. The way that they presented themselves before even speaking said to me that we are going to take care of you and you are going to enjoy a wonderful evening. We love to start with bar bites or small plates to sample the menu. This allowed us to try the crabcake, calamari and the scallops & bacon. Everything was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. We shared a bottle of red wine and split the asparagus and steak cooked medium-rare. The steak was cooked to perfection! There is a standard fee of $3.00 to split a meal. I love, love that the bartender waived the fee and allowed us to share a meal. Because we start each meal with small plates a dinner each just isn't possible. This evening out was worth each dollar spent. We will definitely come back each time that we visit the coast.

Yo, the internet homies steered me wrong! Shame on y'all!…read more I got the shrimp burger with smoked gouda mac and cheese. The shrimp were criminally overcooked, and the mac needed salt in the worst way. They didn't salt the pasta water (or salt it enough), and the mac was really sad, as a result. My friend got the soup of the day combo, which were were told was a "white bean and basil soup", but I'll be danged if it didn't come out with the most garbanzo-y looking white beans I've ever seen in my life. She said it tasted like they dumped rotel, chickpeas, and pesto into a pot and called it soup, and not in a good way. My wife got the smoked wings. She said the flavor was good, but they were brought out lukewarm and very lightly sauced (she's an extra saucy kind of lady). We got two cocktails, a cherry limeade slushie and a Kill Devil Hills Pain Killer. We were told the cherry limeade was made with just cherry mixer, lime, and vodka, but it definitely tasted like it had coconut in it, and my wife hates coconut. The Pain Killer I got was acceptable, but we ordered it with our food, and it didn't come out until I'd almost finished my dinner. The vibes in the place were meh, but fine (especially if the food/drinks were good), but the tables were extremely sticky across their entire surface, so either someone sucks at cleaning, or the finish on the tables was failing and needed to be sanded down/refinished. We did get a side of sweet potato fries that were pretty dope, but they didn't make up for the disappointment of everything else. 1 out of 5 stars; do not recommend.
