Get the fish nuggets!! We sat at the bar, and ordered quite a few things on the menu. First- the bartender was super friendly. We could have talked to her all night. The food and cocktails were perfect for a beach restaurant- higher end. Prices were reasonable. The inside was great for a perfect beach date night.

The ambiance is really nice even thought the restaurant is located by a mall. The staff were super nice and Made sure you were taken care of. As for the food, the Oyster Rockefeller were delicious, my husband had a pasta and scallop dish he loved. I ordered the pork belly and scallop dish and it came out barely warm and had to send it back. A big no no for me. When I got it back it was hot but the pork belly was like trying to crackling. Wow tough on the teeth. Would I go back? Maybe, not really sure at this point since I felt very rushed through my meal. We arrived at 5:15 and were done and in our car headed home at 6:15. That is rushed.

Went to Table 9 on a Thursday night as a last minute decision. It was packed! we did not have reservations but they found us a table nonetheless. Service was great - Billy. He was working multiple tables but was very attentive. We had the Yellowfin Tuna, the Santorini Salad, Oysters Rockefeller and raw oysters. (no judgement there were 3 of us). Everything was yummy except for the raw oysters. They were so tiny for $4 each. Especially being on the ocean they should do better. And yes, I should have sent them back but I didn't.

Five stars overall. We do feel the oysters were small and the pasta was disappointing. However, everything else from ambiance, service, selection, speed and quality were five star. This party of five enjoyed cocktails from the blueberry mule to the pain killer were very good. The crab dip was our favorite appetizer and the baked caprese were great. Oysters on the small side. No fresh oysters available. Our entrees from tuna to scallops were a mixed bag. I thought the stuffed Mahi was good except the wild rice was a bit crunchy. Hubby didn't think the scallops and pork belly were that tasty. The pasta dish was only okay. Desserts, which we were not going to get, but ended up with, were awesome! We enjoyed crème brûlée and homemade pistachio ice cream, and a martini glass. Shared among five--plenty of dessert. If you are wondering if you should give this place a try--I say YES!

This was a lovely place with great service, even better food, and a great choice for a date night. I had the scallops and they were easily the best I've ever had.

We have eaten here before, but just went for dinner last night with a party of 8, and they were surprisingly able to accommodate immediately. They had a huge round table that was perfect. Our server was absolutely fantastic and the food was delicious. We had the charbroiled oysters for appetizer, the seared scallops with rissotto, and the porkbelly and scallops entrees. All were served promptly and with a smile. Honestly, our entire evening was so very nice - ambiance, service, and tasty. Table 9 was topnotch!!!

I stumbled upon this lovely restaurant by chance tonight. From the outside it says it is a seafood restaurant and looked like a casual atmosphere. They have a huge outdoor patio. Inside I was greeted by a fabulous hostess and I told her that I wanted to order take out. The place was fine dining casual. I was not dressed for that. However she assured me that sitting at the bar waiting was fine. The bartenders were so good and friendly. The place is stunning. They have different sections for a private area, and then a dining area. The car was beautiful. I had a fantastic Bloody Mary while waiting for my meal. I wanted the lamb or raw oysters but I didn't want to take them to go so I close the calamari and burger. Both were excellent. I will definitely be back again. I would also recommend this restaurant for people doing on a date or a girls night out. One of the best in the area!

Amos Mosquito's Restaurant & Bar

In my many trips to the AB area, I've driven by the old Mosquito often but it's always, always,…read morealways packed no matter the time of year. New plan for this trip. Step one should be the same for everyone. Get there when they open at 4:45 because damn does this place get busy quick even on weekdays. When I rolled into the parking lot at 4:40, I had probably 15-20 already at the door. Step two, if you get there at open, consider bar seating. Clam Chowder - Scalloped Scallops - Key Lime Pie I'll just keep it at this. Is anything I ordered going to reinvent the culinary wheel? No, and one could argue that the only negative here is that most everything is on the pricey side. But with that said, everything was extremely consistent, everything was brought out perfectly timed, my cup never runnethed (sure, it's a word) empty and the bar staff are all excellent conversationalists. Also one big upside, the ambiance. The bar area is kept dark as it should be in any bar type situation and the music selection was mostly a fantastic mix of classic R&B and Blues. Can't tell you the last time I enjoyed seafood while listening to John Lee Hooker (well, I can and it would be never which is why my mind was sort of blown). Groaney, groan, groan on some of the pricing but the overall situation here is worth the five stars. I get the hype and I get why it's always busy. Also, kudos to the owner who was up front and making sure to thank every single person that walked by/out the door. Very classy.

Can't go wrong here. We enjoyed the drinks, food, etc. We ordered 2 things that they came later and…read moresaid they were out which was disappointing. Settled on the fried pickles instead of buzz-buzz shrimp they were out of. They were good and the sauce was awesome. I had the mixed seafood grill which was excellent. Service was very friendly, etc. We will be back when we come visit our son, daughter-in-law, and grandchildren.

I will not be eating anywhere else but here for dinner, since that's the only time they are open. So onto the review. Tuesday April. 7, 2026 is 94 cent oyster night. I had 2 dozen raw at that price. They were good, but I'm an oyster snob so they were not exceptional. Not the restaurants fault at all. I've had amazing and it's hard to find that especially at that price point. Onto dinner. My wife got the seafood risotto. Dear lord it was good!! I got in addition to my 24 raw oysters the oyster stuffed with lava filled crab. Hot to the touch but worth the scalding tongue. For the entree I had the fillet mignon. Yes as a Kentuckian I realized that teeth were not needed for this at all . The steak was medium rare with perfection throughout. Asparagus and mashed taters were good but didn't compare. As a bonus we got the slaw and special potatoes (red russets cut thinly ) as a thanks for ordering. Terrific potatoes and ehhh on the slaw. We finished with the banana pudding cake for dessert and oh my goodness was that a nice closer. Yes we did have two pitchers of yuengling beer which were a nice touch. We will go back tomorrow and again Thursday before departure. If you read a negative review it MUST be a local who wants a place that isn't full of people because this is a gem! We got here at 4:40 to be the first in at 5 pm

As a local, we only venture out to restaurants during the off-season because the experience is so much better than fighting the crowds. They are good people and have delicious food. And the view is not too shabby.
