Went here for a girls dinner and were blown away with how great the food was. We got the Arancini as an appetizer it was sooo good we had to order another one. I got the duck and my sister got the special grouper and we couldn't pick a favorite we loved them both so much. The vibes were immaculate. Our server Janie was so sweet and attentive. A nearly full dining room at 7 pm; a constantly churning ticket printer; a calm staff across front and back. These are the aspects of a restaurant that knows that they're doing. Full Circle cafe is that and more. Their menu of both beverages and food is varied and thoughtful, while their pizzas are unique and deliciously prepared. The assortment of local and locally inspired art on the walls reinforces the proximity to the beach, while the bars playful figurines let you know it's okay to smile and an otherwise serious dining institution. I can't speak highly enough of the kitchen; I've never heard a ticket read with such levity or calm demeanor - everyone BOH knows what they're doing and it reflects in the exquisitely prepared food. The drinks aren't shabby either - the assortment is fantastic and Chelsea was slinging drinks like she was born doing it. Can't recommend this place highly enough. The food was amazing. We loved our meals and the options that were at this restaurant. The ambiance was so nice - we brought our 2 year old with us and it was perfect for a nice family night out on vacation. Our server was so kind and helpful with menu recommendations and possible changes. LOVED the chocolate torte cake and raspberry sorbet! Would recommend to anyone and will definitely be back on our next vacation. read more

I'd like to kick myself for how long it took me to follow my friends recommendation and come here. For some reason it just didn't impress me from the outside. As soon as you're seated the atmosphere perfectly backs up a menu that spans all the way from pizza to nightly specials that will rock your food world. We were in town for two nights and ate there the first night-steak with beautifully whipped potato's and lobster ravioli topped with a huge piece of salmon. Fish and steak cooked exactly as we asked. The next night we sat down in a different restaurant, ordered our drinks and after looking at the menu, we literally walked right back to Full Circle for round two- mammoth lasagna, a scratch made gourmet pizza and fried oysters that can only be described as the definition of perfection. There are few restaurants in Morehead that have the level of quaint and cozy ambiance *and* delicious food that Full Circle has. It's one of our favorite restaurants in the area, and the competition has heated up in recent years. They serve a great mix of approachable yet upscale dishes. American, some Thai mixed in (dumplings, pho, pad thai), and killer wood fired pizzas. My wife and I tried the beet version of their caprese salad, which had a beautiful presentation. It was almost like a layer cake but with beets and mozzarella, surrounded by arugula, mandarin oranges, etc. We also had the dumplings, which were solid, and a cup of the vidalia onion soup. The star of the show was the pizza, though. Since we were at the bar, we got to see the wood fired oven, and the pizza came to us piping hot. Ordering a pizza without marinara can be risky, but the duxelle base on the mushroom pizza was absolutely fantastic. Since that pizza doesn't have meat by default, we added bacon, and it was so dang good. This is probably the best date night spot in the area. Cozy interior, friendly staff, cool decor. C'mon -- $4.00 for pre-dinner bread? And $2.00 if we want olive oil?? Splitting a pizza is yet another extra charge. Then there's an automatic 24% tip if you're a party of 5 or more. I don't know about you, but if a waiter/waitress is good, the most I usually tip is 20-22%. The food and the wait staff are good, but I just can't afford to go there anymore. read more

Food as always is very good, however they recently took steep price increases. Pizza's which were once $13.00 are now $25.00. Planning on splitting a pizza? Expect a split fee. Bread service? Expect a $4.00 fee. I guess that's what it takes now to keep the doors open. However my group wasn't too pleased at how expensive things have gotten. In addition, grouper special was $45.00, yet the portion was so small, a thinly sliced piece of grouper on top of two pieces of ravioli, that I was still starving. read more

My husband and I were interested and excited to try this place. :) We stopped in after a long day of sight-seeing, so we were underdressed (but, it wasn't an issue :). Also, I would recommend making reservations, which we didn't realize. However, the host was so gracious to get a table ready for us on the back patio (which there are only two of ;). Now, for the food... OH MY GOSH! We had the edamame, and I loved that we could choose which type of salt we wanted on them (of course no salt is an option too). We also enjoyed the oysters. Our daughter had a lovely penne pasta with house made marinara sauce and grilled chicken. They don't have a kids menu, but they were happy to whip something up for her. (They also have amazing looking pizza, which is usually a go-to option for kids. ;) For dinner, my husband had the rosemary rubbed lamb- he ate every bite and said he was "mad at how good it is". I had the scallops (listed as a snack), which were absolutely amazing! We will definitely dress up and go back sometime. :) read more

This is an absolute must-stop--an extensive menu with hand-crafted, absolutely yummy food. I had the chicken pho. The savory broth was hands-down some of the best I've had. Every spoonful was loaded with chicken, veggies, and rice noodles. I can't think of a better pho bowl, and I've had many. We will be back! read more

Excellwnt and huge salad with beets mozz walnuts spinach and other greens galore. Curried fried oysters Yum fried perfectly and served on bed of spinach. Scallops 3 fresh perfecrly done seared served with penne. Lovely and apple crisp with icecream to finish. Busy night and service was super. I frequent this establishment and enjoy the atmosphere and food. Yesterday evening was an exception to that and I typically would let it go except for the unnecessary attitude from Amber, and her wait staff. My friends and I ordered the scallop appetizers. The scallops were steaming hot but the pasta & sauce bed they were on were cold. My brick oven pizza dough was raw and gummy. When asked to speak with a manager, Kaylee, our server gave us an attitude. Amber came over to our table to speak with us with also the same attitude. Our attempt to let allow them awareness so perhaps it can be addressed in the future was completely disregarded. There was no criticism on our part but if a business doesn't know, then how can they fix it? I had posted a review on their Facebook page and they have blocked me!!! I think all of their behavior is highly unprofessional. It's a shame that such a great place is incapable of excepting feedback. read more

I wonder not recommend this location at all, owner or server rude and not customer friendly, Walked in at 9:32 neon sign flashing open, and server open door for use and refused to serve us, and also told us learn how to be a nice customer Why not seat someone with with customers at 9:32pm Or how about turn sign off, argued with use as a customer. I would never recommend this place unless you want to deal with rude people. read more

Really liked Full Circle Cafe for dinner. Intimate restaurant, very friendly service, great food, eclectic menu. Be aware that some of the portions are small--sometimes it's not clear if it's a main course or an appetizer--so ask if you're in doubt. I had the lamb chops on a bed of mash potatoes which was a daily special and it was delicious but there were only two small lollipops and it turned out it was an appetizer. It would have been perfect if there was one more chop. I would definitely go back. read more

No, and one could argue that the only negative here is that most everything is on the pricey side. But with that said, everything was extremely consistent, everything was brought out perfectly timed, my cup never runnethed (sure, it's a word) empty and the bar staff are all excellent conversationalists. Also one big upside, the ambiance. The bar area is kept dark as it should be in any bar type situation and the music selection was mostly a fantastic mix of classic R&B and Blues. Can't tell you the last time I enjoyed seafood while listening to John Lee Hooker (well, I can and it would be never which is why my mind was sort of blown). Groaney, groan, groan on some of the pricing but the overall situation here is worth the five stars. I get the hype and I get why it's always busy. Also, kudos to the owner who was up front and making sure to thank every single person that walked by/out the door. Very classy.

While you're there expect top notch service, and food that is really good, but at least in my experience, falling a bit short of the excellence the prices are aiming for. We were all kind of hungry and thirsty when we came in, having spent the day on Shackleford island, and being shut down at every turn by the restaurant we stopped into first hoping to have some appetizers (they were out of everything we asked about). This boded well for Parrott's, we got several apps and cocktails in addition to our mains. Unfortunately, it was really those apps that I felt fell short. Our waiter talked up the lamb meatballs to the point where we were really expecting to be blown away, and ultimately, they were pretty ordinary, and just two of them, making it hard to split amongst 6 people. Same could be said for the pork belly bbq skewers, they were small and didn't thrill any of us. The main courses made up for those shortcomings, a couple of us got the grouper, there was a scallops and grits order, a delicious pesto chicken pasta, and some crab cakes that I ended up being pretty jealous of because they stole the show. These mains were a good size helping, and each robust in their own ways, showcasing creativity and excellence in the kitchen. In the end, for the amount of the bill, you expect everything to be top notch up and down, and it fell short of that to me... but not so drastically so that I wouldn't recommend the place to others, with the caveat to have appetizers somewhere else first.
