We recently had our annual Christmas dinner here with about 25 ladies. The service was excellent the waitresses did an excellent job of keeping the orders correct.. I know how difficult it is to serve that many people at once but they did a great job most of us had steak which was good. Others had shrimp trio and I heard no complaints. We celebrated my granddaughter's birthday on Saturday, December 11th. We had 9 adults and 4 children. The service was extraordinary! The food was good. They don't have a liquor license yet but do have beer and a selection of wines. We were very pleased with everyone's attitude and helpfulness. Looking forward to returning soon. read more

I had heard great things of this place! The atmosphere was strange and the decor was hodgepodge - it didn't have an identity of its own, it just looked like the several old eateries that had previously occupied the space. The vibe was similarly confused about what the place was trying to be. My wife ordered the steak and it was fine. She eats it medium-rare and that's a little too cooked for my liking, but it was prepared well and tasted fresh. Does this restaurant source ingredients locally? I ordered the chicken parm and was less than impressed. The chicken was limp and greasy. Well, more greasy than it should be. The pasta was over cooked and rubbery. The dish is advertised as coming with a side of Alfredo, which was not something I've ever seen before. The mixing of the two sauces is different! However, I ordered an extra side of fries - a classic pairing. And the fries were great! Nice and crispy, a good contrast to the parmigiana. You put me in an Italian restaurant and I will find something good to speak about. With this place, it was that my wife's steak tasted fresh and that the fries were pleasantly crispy. The strange addition of Alfredo with the chicken parm, the sad parm itself, and the lack of identity made the experience one that left me feeling unsure about this restaurant. We had a wonderful dinner last night with friends and family. We had hors d'oeuvres we had main courses desserts a bottle of wine. Everything was top notch as far as quality and taste and the service was impeccable. A fun family atmosphere that I plan on coming back to time and time again. Many restaurants in Merced are closed on Sunday evenings and these guys are open for business. Little bit of a drive from where we live in Hilmar but I will come back again and again. I wanted to like this place so listening to the positive reviews I decide to give it a try. Went around 5pm it was completely dead don't know if it's because it was on a Monday. But we were greeted and seated right away. Ordered our drinks and food. I got the Margarhita pizza and the size was very good it looked really good but it was tasteless. My friend had ordered a shrimp pasta the sauce was lacking flavor she had to add salt and pepper to give it some flavor. My other friend ordered a pizza she got the bbq chicken one, half her pizza was burnt on top. The only good thing that was really good was the bread and butter everything else was bland. Need to hire better cooks or add some seasoning to their foods. Staff was friendly and nice which is why I gave 3 stars. read more

Owner and staff are friendly and attentive. We had the Penne Milano, meatball calzone, and my kids had a burger and fettuccine Alfredo. The Alfredo was very salty. My son couldn't eat it. I tried some and it was definitely overly salty. We told the staff and they made it right. My husband ordered a calzone but the waitress heard him wrong and served him a sandwich. They ended up letting him eat the sandwich and let us take the calzone home. I've tried the meatball calzone, wings, and a couple pasta dishes. So far I have enjoyed all the dishes I have tried there. My favorite has to be the wings and penne Milano. Their bread is also pretty darn good. Short version: friendly, attentive staff. Good food. Steaks cooked just the way requested. My chicken parm and Alfredo pasta was delicious.We were given cake for the 4 birthdays which was more then enough to share by all and ice cream to top it off. Asked waiter and manager to look at the chicken and cheese and was told it was fine. Each one of the orders from my reservation that contained chicken or cheese was consisting of a strange odor.
