My second time at this establishment. My first review was not favorable due to the service we received. We had a completely different experience tonight. Ryan was amazing. Attentive, helpful, and funny. There was 10 of us but he handled it with stride despite having other tables. The food and drinks were delicious. I had the stuffed chicken and husband had the Jack Daniel's steak. Both were flavorful but I especially liked the stuffed chicken. I enjoyed the food the first time I visited this establishment but good service is important to me and Ryan hit the mark this evening. Bravo! read more

We have been to Table 26 a few times and today we had the pleasure of having Ryan as our server for Valentine's Day. We did not have reservations but promptly arrived a little after 4 to get a table for 6. We waited a whole 5 minutes! Just enough time to get a beverage at the bar. Ryan was not only pleasant, he was very knowledgeable about the menu items and specials. I normally get a steak when we go out anywhere but decided on the Salmon. It was very yummy. Driving through on vacation looking for a steakhouse for dinner. What a gem! Stuffed mushrooms best we've ever had, and enough for table share. Gargenzola salad with interesting fruit and nut additions. And at a half size was perfect pre entree. Rib eye well seasoned and cooked perfectly, even el dente string beans. Crème brûlée cheesecake was a little rich for me, but my husband had no trouble finishing my share. Service was great. We entered just as they were getting ready to close early on a slow night, and the had no trouble seating us with great wait staff. Let me start by saying I was very disappointed with Table 26 service. My wife and I walked in around 430pm on a Saturday. It was not busy at all. The staff at the front asked if we had reservations and we said no. She looked at us funny with a silence and then said well you can go sit in the bar lounge and order there. She did not even give us a time for waiting to be seated in the other areas. We sat in the lounge where there was only one other couple seated and waited 10 minutes for someone to even bring us water and menus. We finally got our menus and knew what we wanted 5 minutes after that. We sat there for another 15 minutes with our menus on the table before a waiter came around to take our order and our drink order. The crappy thing was, we saw 3 waiters hanging around the bar talking to each other the whole time. Not one came around and asked if we wanted anything to drink or took our orders. We had to pull one aside and tell them we were ready to eat. With prices like Table 26, we pay for service and good food. The food was okay and the service was terrible. First time visiting table 26. Let me start by has someone ever told you, you have to pay for something if you don't like it? Never felt so bad for not liking food. We eat at Mastros steakhouse a lot and I can tell you he didn't get a filet mignon for his dinner tonight, but oh well I guess they need the money more than we do. The lady, probably the owner. she just wasn't bold enough to express that. Just kept saying management. well if you went by management, in the food industry the customer is always right ! and you'll do anything to make sure they have an excellent experience and come back. The lady was trying to force me to pay for a cioppino i didn't like. Me also thinking it's going to come with crab because I was looking off of yelp. Unfortunately they changed it and they no longer put crab. Tells you how cheap they're trying to be. The flavor was too bland. I kindly asked to swap it. My server kindly, apologize, he said yes no problem took the food back. Then moments later a lady comes up to me telling me she can make me another dish but I have to pay for the cioppino and then other dish I choose as well. I told her that's absolutely ridiculous that I am not going to pay for something that I did not eat and you will not make me pay for it. she said yes you are management said and we're not gonna take it off the bill. so I expressed to her that's fine! you can do that, but I'm not going to be paying for that because I did not eat it. From beginning to end, the food and service is legit. The bread you get when you are first seated is baked fresh and the butter is super creamy. Wait staff is very courteous and friendly. Frequently checking in on you and your order. We ordered the burger, cioppino, and calamari. I have to say, best calamari and burger that I have ever tasted. The calamari is sliced thin and not super breaded. Served with a wasabi sauce, soy sauce, and a spicy mayo. The burger, literally just melts in your mouth. The meat is tender, the bacon is cooked to a perfect crisp, and delicately topped with cheese, onion, lettuce, tomato, and thousand island sauce. The cioppino is served in a beautiful bowl with the noodles on the side. Gear mixture of seafood and seasoned just right. For drinks we enjoyed the passion fruit margarita and the New York sour. Both very refreshing and tasting. Definitely a must when stopping in Turlock. read more

I ordered the pork chop and was pleasantly surprised! The customer service was really good too. Wait time was very little to get seated.

I've made several attempts to contact management, sent this to the restaurant via their website twice. on February 4 and February 6, 2024 no response. Here is the gist of it. My wife and I chose to dine at your restaurant last night, February 3, 2024, for dinner at approximately 5:30pm at table 72, check # 15. We dined in the bar area, since we had no reservation, and your dining room was fully committed for the evening. Our server, Luis R. was prompt and professional. Our drinks and meals were delivered to us in a timely manner. I had ordered the rib-eye med-rare and my wife the seafood ravioli. Upon the receipt of my meal, it was apparent to me that my steak did not look like a rib-eye, once I cut into my steak and took a good look at it, there was no marbling or deckle, immediately I knew this was in fact NOT a rib-eye, this was not the cut of meat that I had ordered. I notified Luis R., our sever and explained my concern to him and told him this was in fact not a rib-eye but possibly a New York or a Sirloin. In addition, the steak was over cooked to medium not medium rare. He stated that neither of those cuts of meat are currently offered on your menu. He was polite and agreed with me that the cut of meat on my plate did not appear to rib-eye. He did offer to have another steak prepared for me but at this point frankly I didn't want another steak after being disappointed by the first one. I had asked to speak to the manager regarding this issue and Luis R. returned to the table and informed me that the manager was too busy to address my dissatisfaction/complaint. Luis R. courteously comped two drinks from our bill and apologized for the fact that, (his words) Table 26 is known for their steaks. I am 52 years old, I have cut, cooked, smoked, and consumed countless cuts of beef over my years and by far this was the worst steak I have ever had from Table 26, in fact the second worst steak I have ever attempted to consume. I am not sure what oversite or protocols you have in your kitchen but the person preparing this steak should have the knowledge of the product they are preparing and know the difference between the cuts of meat. Knowingly or unknowingly preparing the incorrect cut of meat and to assume you are serving it to an uneducated person or unsuspected person is wrong. If your buyer or supplier provided your restaurant with the incorrect cut of meat and you are passing it off and a higher cut of meat that a whole different level of wrong. Regardless of this was merely an error by the cooks or whomever is responsible for the accuracy and quality of the food being prepared and served at your restaurant this is very unacceptable. Table 26 is a quality restaurant with an abundant amount of choices of different kinds of food on their menu. It's not a cheap place to eat by any means but it is quality. The prime rib is fantastic. Had high hopes for this place, I honestly did, but was sadly disappointed. Came on a Sunday, called in advance because I had been told that they're always packed, called and they said for us to come on in. Was a very friendly woman who I spoke with. Arrived with my Mother, along with a gentlemen by himself who entered the same time as we did, he opened the door for us, and when we entered, a young lady in a floral shirt she looks at him, then looks at us, she asked if we were all together, the gentlemen advised no, and clearly stated "No, I'm waiting for someone" this young lady NEVER spoke to us, I spoke up and told her "I called ahead of time for two" she completely ignored me, and looked back at the gentleman we entered the restaurant at the same time with, he got upset and raised his voice and informed this woman "Would you help them, they're ready" he then walked out of the restaurant, I don't believe he returned either. We ordered drinks, per the recommendation of the waitress, and one of the drinks it was some kind of Sangria it was HORRIBLE, it was incredibly gritty even in the picture you can see how gritty it was, it was not good. The second drink I don't even recall if it was any good, it was just yellow. We ordered two appetizers, we ordered the Buffalo wings, they were very good, and I loved them, no complaints at all there. Then we ordered stuffed mushrooms, and I have no idea what the green sauce was. The consistency alone was off putting, and visually these were a mess. They required a lot of salt to even tolerate them. And the tomato, made no sense. For dinner my Mother ordered the pasta that had shrimp and she did enjoy it, but there was only 4 pieces of shrimp, so it was lacking for sure. I myself ordered the steak with a side of macaroni and cheese and mashed potatoes. Also since I had mashed potatoes, I asked for fixings for my mashed potatoes. They brought me bacon, sour cream, cheese, frozen butter, and green onions, per my request. And this made my mashed potatoes yummy. The macaroni and cheese had no flavor, therefore I mixed it with the mashed potatoes so they were edible then. My steak it came with some kind of chipotle sauce that I requested be on the side, it was put on the steak when my steak arrived. I wanted the extra butter to put on my steak with the blue cheese I requested since that's how I love my steak. I wanted to love this steak and I wasn't able. It tasted honestly like nothing. I asked for "medium rare" this steak was almost a hamburger it was cooked so long. Wasn't red/pink at all, it was all brown the entire steak. And covered in this gross chipotle sauce. This steak was a waste of money. Maybe the chef was ready to be off of work I don't know but it wasn't good at all. This is honestly not a place I would ever go back to again, my sister also came here the same day as my Mother and I did coincidentally earlier in the day, and she said the same thing that it was not good at all, she said she and her fiancée hated it, I didn't hate it but I am for sure not a fan. Made a reservation for 7pm same day, with no hassle. Ambiance was very nice, definitely felt like an upscale nice restaurant. Started with the grilled artichoke for an appetizer, it was amazing! I had the seafood ravioli which was super rich and delicious, I highly recommend! My girlfriend had the rolled chicken which she loved! We had a couple of cocktails and the price was pretty good for everything we had. Also the service was outstanding! Our server was great with recommendations and the helpers filling the waters or bread were constantly making sure we were okay, and if we needed anything. We definitely will be going back! read more
