The menu looked great when we walked in, but we should have known it was not going to go well when we saw all the people standing off to the side waiting on their orders. It seemed like total chaos behind the counter and in the back. We placed our order, Ultimate Cheeseburger Combo for me, Chicken Nuggets Combo for my wife. The cheeseburger and the nuggets were okay, but the shoestring (my least favorite kind) fries were pretty bad. I almost never leave fries on the plate at the end of a meal, but I did on this day.

Ben reminded me we were one of only two tables and it was not ok, so fair enough. This was our second dinner in Mesquite, and I'm noticing a common theme: the bar comes first, and dinner guests who aren't drinking copious amounts of alcohol come second.
