My son's choice...Strawberry smoothie with boba
    Jesse G.

This visit was an unexpected surprise. I personally hadn't had traditional boba tea in almost a couple years...long story short it was a more expensive habit than that Seattle coffee house, and even more unhealthy. The other day we went to Big Al's for some video games and a couple games of bowling, so i decided to break my boba fast. My son got a Strawberry Smoothie with boba, and I got my standard Thai tea with boba. I was a little hungry too. My son said that the cheese sticks were fire, but I felt like going off the grid. I got an order of the fried lobster balls...and I was glad I did. I couldn't tell with 100% certainty that it was actually lobster. The flavor and texture kind reminded me of the fake crab sticks, but regardless it was a perfect bite to go with the tea. The breading was super crispy but also very minimal. The filling was delicious and I assumed it was lobster as advertised. I could have eaten 10 of them, but $6.99 for 6 was a pretty good price. The service was pretty good. I mean it wasn't table service, but the employees were friendly and the service was pretty quick. The restaurant was clean and the music was pleasant as well. I don't get out to Progress Ridge that often, but T4 will be a stop in the future when I do.

    Okinawa Milk Tea with boba

My Okinawa milk tea with boba was good. I wish I had a bigger size to sip on while I'm out running around on this hot day. They also have food items if you are looking for a quick lunch or snack. There are a variety of boba and jellies to add to your drinks. If I'm in the neighborhood it's gonna be a hard decision if I want boba tea or coffee from Ava Rosteria in the same shopping center.

Tbh, I don't even come here for the drinks. Only for the Deep Fried Squid (Extra Spicy) - seriously, try it. I've had a few drinks on their menu, but feel like the teas lack flavor and taste more like syrup. If I would recommend anything it'd be the Honey Peach Royal Tea

Jasmine green milk tea with mini tapioca pearls

This boba place is okay. It is conveniently located in the progress ridge shopping area. I ordered the jasmine green milk tea with boba. Prices were average for what you pay elsewhere. My order was $4.95 and there is a $0.75 charge for boba, plus the tip if you pay by card so around $6.00-7.00 a drink. I got mine with 80% sweetness because I don't like my drinks too sweet. Even still, it was crazy sweet! So maybe next time I'll order 50% sweetness level. They ran out of the normal boba (or I was told that the normal boba wouldn't be ready for a while) so they substituted with the mini boba. My receipt says that Fiona was serving me today. She was really nice! FYI, the chairs and tables were stacked in the corner during my visit today (possibly a Covid precaution) so keep that in mind if you are planning to meet a friend here. You'll have to take your drinks to go!

T4 is located in Progress Ridge Townsquare, which is a prime shopping center location to watch a movie at the AMC theater and grab a boba drink afterwards. The inside is very clean and there were lots of available tables to sit at on a Saturday afternoon. The drinks are sold in only one large size, hence why all the milk tea drinks start at $4 and above. There's an extra .50 fee for add-ons such as boba, aloe jelly, coconut jelly, coffee jelly, pudding, etc. There are also food items such as basil popcorn chicken, sweet potato fries, fried calamari, fried chicken wings, and fried tofu in the $4-$7 range. My wife and I ordered the royal milk tea with boba ($4.75) and okinawa milk tea ($5) and requested light ice for both. The drinks came out within five minutes, which is speedy service. The taste of the royal milk tea was very sweet, which I wish I had known before adding boba, which further adds to the sweetness. The okinawa milk tea tasted very similar to the royal milk tea and it was tough to put a finger on what differentiated the two drinks to warrant a price difference. My thought was that these both taste like regular milk teas without any distinctive flavor. The ice cubes are pretty big and "light ice" meant 30% filled with ice. I wish they offer regular sized cups instead of the large cups since I didn't need that much milk tea.

The rose tea is super sweet. I could barely take two sips without getting diabetes. It is good if you like sugar water.

I should've ordered one to go for the next day lol The food overall was good. We ordered the chicken stir fry noodles and the scallion noodles with pork, basil chicken, and the cucumber salad. The scallion noodles was too salty. And the basil chicken was dry (unlike boba spot, they used chicken breast I believe). Overall, enjoyed the chicken noodles stir fry and cucumber salad here. Service was great at the front. The young girls did a great job. The other girl working behind the counter could be a bit more friendly. Overall, cute place but could use louder music to set the mood a bit becuase I felt weird that it was so quiet. Would come back again for the milk tea if we are ever in town again.

It's easily one of my favorite drinks when I want something a little less sweet (since you can actually adjust sweetness on this one since it doesn't come with boba topping). They make their lychee jelly in house so I recommend it if you're looking to add a topping. We've also ordered their strawberry blended drinks a couple of times, one from their top 5 menu and one from their regular and it was just meh. Not too exciting but luckily their other flavors make up for it. I look forward to my husband taking me to boba every weekend bc of The Alley!
