Very disappointing. I have tried twice. The first time I have ordered Snow Globe & pearl milk tea with 80% sweetness. Taste very sweet so I think maybe 80% is still too sweet for me. The second time I have ordered classic rose milk tea with 50% sweetness. Oh my god, it tasted even sweeter than the first time. It is like 150% sweetness not 50%! Went inside as the first customer in an empty store. The cashier proceeds to tinker with the POS system for 5 minutes. More customers came in, and the cashier just kept taking more and more orders while the guy in the back was just cleaning. This meant they didn't start making our tea for around 20 minutes till we ordered. Took around 25 minutes to get our 2 milk tea from walking into walking out. Been here a few times now. The drinks are good, but the wait is insane. Yesterday our drinks sat on the counter with the last one in the lid sealer for at least 5 minutes while he made another drink and she stood there. Then she moved it out of the sealer and just set it next to the other drinks and walked away. I'm sure that they are busy and doing their best, but 20 minutes for 3 drinks with only one other couple there seemed extreme. Glad to have another boba shop to add to my rotation! I'm glad they have salted cheese as a topping because I love adding that to my tea drinks! Their brown sugar boba milk is delicious and their boba is so big, chewy, warm and cooked to perfection every time. Yet another bubble tea place in Beaverton. This one is good! I had the plain milk tea and it was ok, it didn't have a strong flavor but the boba was good. Their shining star for me was the egg waffle. It was sooo good! Really light and airy. I've never had it before but I've seen pictures and it's delicious. Cute place. Many choices! I got the milk tea royal which is their popular one. Ordered it standard sweetness and standard ice (original). Slightly disappointed as it was watery. I went there the other night and two people that works there said they ran out of everything. I ask if they can do milkshakes and she said " no we don't have milk right now ". I ask if they have royal tea " no we are out of the royal tea ". My nieces and nephews were visiting from California and they wanted Boba so I took them here because it is close to our home. (Aug 1st I think) There were 12 of us so it wasn't a small group, but we were the ONLY customers there. Right off the bat, the front/cashier girl didn't seem very happy at all to see such a big group. She wasn't friendly from the very beginning and seemed very annoyed by us. We had one question about the drink and she wasn't helpful at all but again annoyed. As we were waiting for the drinks, the children came up to the counter when they saw their drinks but she was annoyed by that and told them to stay back and wait. She said it multiple times in very rude manner. So I told the kids to step back and wait. There were one small bench to sit and all the tables were stacked up against the wall. A few of the kids didn't have a place to sit and they sat on the table up again the wall. The girl immediately told them not to sit on the table. Fine! We got off. 2 of the children are special needs so we took 2 chairs that were stacked up against the wall so they can sit. She immediately turned toward her coworkers and in very loud tone and rude as all get out and said... I told them not to sit on the table and they pulled out the chairs! ( with nasty attitude!) Let's not forget we've just spend money for 12 people with drinks. You do the math. That wasn't cheap. At this point I have had enough with her rudeness so I spoke up. I said perhaps you need to have so some chairs for folks to sit and wait for their drinks. We are not asking to sit inside the entire time but some of us can't stand that long. We took the kids and waited outside in 95 degrees weather. I asked what her name was and she said Laura Lai?? Needless to say, we WILL NOT ever come back here again. Happened to be in the area and decided to try this place! I ended up getting the Taro Milk Tea and it was okay. It wasn't very busy when I walked in, so my order did not take that long. The establishment itself is clean and has a few tables. It is usually hard to find parking here since it shares a parking lot with tons of other places, but when I went here today there was ample parking. Pricing is standard, but my drink only cost $2.50 today which may be due to the opening discount that they are having. There are other items on their menu that are worth a try, so I will probably return the next time I am in the area. read more
