It was a very generous amount, and the stuffing of curried chicken, potatoes, onions and carrots was phenomenal! Their curry sauce was so aromatic, sweet, and flavorful. The puffs were deep-fried, though, so, naturally, there was some grease. For my entree, I ordered the Pad See Ew with Chicken. I thought their version was very well-executed. It was more savory than it was sweet, and the broccoli was fresh and crisp. I will say that the chicken was rather dry, but, otherwise, it was good a meal. I heard positive reviews about the Drunken Noodles with Chicken as well, though specifying "Hot" as the spice level meant it came with a ton of visible chilis, so beware that they are very serious about their heat! This is not to say that they didn't taste good, but I would've preferred more variance. I'm glad we got an order of papaya salad to cut the richness of the other dishes, and I also appreciated it had a nice level of heat in it. Our servers were really friendly without being overbearing, and let us linger for a bit even after we paid the bill, as it was their last seating for the evening. There are so many excellent Thai restaurants in the city and I'd put SaiTong firmly in the category of perfectly solid spots to get your Thai fix, with some special dishes on the chef's menu worth checking out.
