Back again for another Crêpe craving! Super sweet, friendly staff and consistently delicious crepes - what more could you ask for! They have a lot of Asian flavors on the menu and my go to is the matcha chocolate one, highly recommend! Crepes came out pretty quickly and you can choose between a mini or regular size!

T-Swirl crepe is the perfect treat, any time of day. The crepes are naturally gluten free and the menu is clearly marked. I have only tried the sweep crepes but one day I will try the savory options. The staff are always happy to answer questions and everything is made fresh. The extended hours are a plus.

I've missed T-Swirl every day since I moved away from Las Vegas and was delighted to discover they've got a Pittsburgh location! Their crepes are just as delicious as I remember - highly recommend the Fuji Caramel Apple crepe and, to drink, their jasmine green tea. As a bonus, all of their crepes are gluten-free!

Cute crepe place in Squirrel Hill -- I think this is a chain? There's a couple other locations in Pittsburgh as well. The crepes here definitely aren't as good as others you can get elsewhere in Pittsburgh, but they do have a ton of different topping options from fresh fruit to ice cream. The inside of the restaurant has a good amount of seating and the service is quick. It's a very aesthetic and instagrammable snack, but when it comes to the actual crepe it's really hard to eat in the form it's served in (a paper sleeve; I'd rather eat it with a fork and knife) and quality of the crepe itself is pretty average. We got the lychee romantic sweet crepe and the lychee was definitely canned, not fresh, so it didn't taste amazing imo. I've had other crepes from here through delivery and those were better -- but they were just topped with ice cream, which is hard to mess up. Worth a try once for the pic but you can get better tasting crepes elsewhere!

Pay with cash to avoid credit card surcharge. Food: I got the mini lychee romantic. I liked the raspberry and lychee combination. The other person got strawberry Nutella: nice crispy edges. Enough Nutella but not overflowing. Very ripe strawberries. Service: it was fine. We went when it was close to closing time and were the only ones in there at first, and it seemed that the wait was longer than for that level of busyness, but it was fine. Ambiance: they were mopping the floor at that time - good to see the floors being mopped.

Welp safe to say I have a new addiction! I am a crepe fanatic and had always wanted to try one of the cone ones. This place is so cute and the service was excellent. I went with a strawberry banana mini cone with Nutella added. I was in awe of the packaging, so smart and made it so much easier to eat. The crepe was crisp and delicious, I loved it! Also loved their inclusive bathroom sign!

I've been to T swirl crepes around the US- it's a franchise I think. I don't know why I keep returning when the crepes unfortunately don't quite impress me as much. tHe prices are steep and it's served with paper plates and the crepes aren't crisp- they feel a little soggy. The toppings also aren't mind blowing either. Would recommend that their chefs revisit their crepe recipe- a hot crisp crepe beats fancy toppings on stale tasting crepes any day. A good place to hang out however- just wish for the price of the crepes that they could maybe churn out fresher tasting crepes. Fruits are ok- not too juicy. A little dry and it's the sugary sauces that save the fruits juiciness.

Super cool treat spot in Squirrel Hill! It's the foremost place for crepes, both sweet and savory, in Pittsburgh. So, being a crepe fan, I knew I had to check it out. I decided to go with something pretty simple: bans chocolate sweet crepe but substitute banana for lychee. I wasn't sure how that fruit combination would work with the chocolate, but it was surprisingly pretty good. The lychee was pretty fresh and juicy. If you go for a vanilla based crepe, definitely get lychee with it as your fruit (if you are doing a BYO crepe). Their custard was also super good. It was creamy and rich with the perfect amount of sweetness. I think they have some kind of whipped yogurt in there, too, which was also delicious. The crepe part itself was great as well. It was nice and crispy. They don't use too much dough, which is nice. All in all, I would highly recommend this spot if you like crepes. It is a little expensive, but the food is high quality, and the portions are pretty good.

SO GOOD. I love this place. The crepes always come out so pretty. Workers are nice and helpful. I love crepes and they have good variety Pricing is usually around 10-12$ for them. I've yet to try their drinks but I will next time. The place is super cute and clean as well.

Great addition to the Squirrel Hill food scene! This place has a very minimal menu with some sweet crepes and some savory crepes. No sides, drinks, etc., just you and your yummy crepe. Crepes are good for take-out of course, but they also have a very tidy, small dining area so it could be a nice date spot. I went with a buddy for lunch on a Monday and we had the place mostly to ourselves. Service was pretty quick. The crepes themselves are delicious and very well-presented. I got the double-egg crepe, which was basically an omelette in a crepe with some egg, cheese, and a little lettuce. Simple but good. My friend got the Thai chicken crepe, which he also liked. It had a very generous looking salad on top of the chicken, so it was a bit more substantial than my crepe. I tend to go for quantity/value in my food choices, whereas here you're paying in part for the novelty and presentation of the crepe. So, the $11-13 price range for these crepes seems a tad high to me, but others could disagree.

T-Swirl Crepes has got to be one of the best crepe locations (aside from Paris of course)! When in town I visited multiple times and enjoyed two of their crepes in their menu. They have a variety of sweet, fruity, and/or veggie crepes and they're all made with fresh ingredients and can be customized if need be. The portions are pretty big and the mini is a what a regular sized crepe is at any other typical location. If you can, pay cash so you can save a couple of cents on your bill! The staff is friendly, location is clean, and while it's located on a busy road they have Pay to Park options right in front.

    - i've had both their sweet and savory crepes, both are really good! - crunchy crepe with crispy tempura and flavorful sauce - decently fast service when not busy - cute and small restaurant, casual

I had the matcha chocolate truffle crepe to go, and it was much better than I was expecting! I've had fresh crepes stuffed with all the things, and they've always been good but maybe too sweet. The T-Swirl Crepe had just the right mix between fresh fruit, matcha, and chocolate to make it sweet but not tooth aching sweet. The little bit of tartness from the fresh fruit and the bitterness of matcha really balanced it out. Also, I got this to go because... COVID-19. The crepes here come in a really convenient little cone shaped plastic bag. I hung it on the hanger hook thing in my car, and now that little thing is called the crepe hanger. I mean, that just sounds better than... hanger hook thing! Plus, the plastic wrap kept the crepe nice and fresh for dessert!

The takoyaki has a crunchy outside and a good flavor (4/5), and the okonomiyaki is pretty filling (4/5); these were the best two. The yaki-udon with shrimp was ok (3/5) but definitely expensive for what it was and the quantity; they also don't add much shrimp, despite the up charge. The sake no shioyaki was below average for salmon (2/5) and very expensive for that amount they give you. Similarly, the onigiri is almost entirely rice if you add salmon (2/5). You order on a tablet, and they bring the food out. Service was ok (3/5); we had empty waters for a while. The restaurant is well-decorated, and you can see the chefs work, which gives it an ambiance somewhat like a hibachi place (4/5). If you stacked all of the slices, it would make a normal size of one piece of nigiri. The slice of tuna was so thin, you could see through it, much less taste it. I was still starving after and got the fried chicken nuggets which were a good portion, with good crunch. The sauce on the chicken was devoid of flavor except for the SALT. They were even able to take the chicken flavor away from the meat which is kind of an accomplishment in itself. My friend got the Sichuan pork dumplings and the dumplings were drowning in soy sauce so much so that you couldn't taste the Sichuan spice (if there was any). There's a sushi restaurant nearby that gives me food poisoning every time I eat there and I would have much rather have eaten there than Soba. I would definitely recommend this place to my enemies because they'll leave broke and still hungry.
