I have a correction, my home WI FI is not from T mobile, I have a free personal hot Spot cellular tower unit that is connected to my Comcast WI FI. It gives us 5G coverage in our home. Our home is in a "dead spot" to get a signal from the existing tower. T mobile provides it for free by request. It's the size of a modem. read more

T-mobile is a way over priced service company who's goal is to get as much money out of you until you try to leave us they time they will offer you real discounts. As I was trying to get my transfer code 7 times in a conversation the chat wouldn't give me any instruction it kept offering my the lowest plan and then once I denied that plan the went even lower but still being 2x the amount of the new 5G unlimited service I just got with visible verizon. They are denying me access to my account but saying I owe 300+ dollars for not paying the plan when I set up an entire payment plan but their app always has the wrong price listed in the app I had to call every month at the end to ask why the price wasn't updated from me paying my whole phone off when it's clearly unlocked the emails I get from them about my balance are totally false once I call it's ridiculous. T-mobile is highly unorganized and only care about the buck they make off of you. read more

We are a T-Mobile family, having migrated from Vz a couple of years ago when Vz prices started becoming absurd. I check periodically and the comparative pricing remains better at T-Mobile. That said, without question, the coverage by Vz was more ubiquitous throughout obscure pockets of Tucson and especially while hiking or driving or road-tripping to San Diego/Santa Fe. The only other complaint I have about T-Mobile is their recent "penalty" for doing autopay via credit card. Beginning May 2023, you forfeit the -$5 bonus/line for autopaying your bill each month via cc. For us that effectively increased our bill by $15. To get that -$15 back, only EFT autopay directly from a bank would reinstate the discount. I'm bummed to lose the 120 mileage points every month but that all said, this review is for the Grant/Swan location, i.e., it's staff and store. They have no control over corporate policies. I came in to activate a newer/used iPhone and switch an older phone's contents to that newer/used phone. Chris was tremendous in devoting more than a 1/2 hour towards facilitating that goal, including first checking the IMEI number to ensure the phone was legit (no SIM lock; no iCloud lock; no Carrier lock) and then walking us through the transition between old/newer phone. There is no charge for this (you're not activating a new line or a brand new phone) so there's no commission or stats gained... just old-fashioned, good customer service time. And this is one of the other reasons we really like T-Mobile. They have consistently provided time/service and their staff are empowered to pursue solutions when necessary. Plenty of parking at this little office, which is located about 6-7 doors east of the old Bed Bath Beyond. It's also clean, well-lit, and there's seating (albeit hard benches) in the event there is a line. read more

I can see from reviews that people have bad experiences at all stores. But the 6572 E Grant Rd we got a lot of cold and unhelpful, and deeply frustrating. While the 4811 E Grant road store was great and very helpful. It's the kind of thing that keeps customers coming back, first a tower then a phone and now another phone. I was a customer of T-Mobile internet for almost 3yrs and always paid my bill every month early. When I moved, the place I moved to has internet included in the rent. So I no longer needed it. I cancelled the service before the payment was due. For weeks T-Mobile jerked me around. They wouldn't even send me a confirmation email that I cancelled until weeks later. And I was on the phone with them almost everyday for those 2 weeks to get a confirmation email that I cancelled before the payment was due with no luck. A few months later. I get an email from a collection agency that I owe almost $600 for a service I cancelled months ago. Very rude customer service and now I have to pay almost $600 for something I don't even owe or have my credit ruined. I regret ever dealing with T-Mobile. Horrible customer service and these crooks will rip you off if you cancel. If anyone is thinking about getting service with T-Mobile. You'll regret it like I did. Service during was fine but with everything going up I needed to switch to something cheaper so I canceled Tmobile in July I received a bill in August saying revised bill you dont owe anything credit of $28.56 sorry to see you go final bill will be sent shortly September bill arrives saying same sorry to see you go we owe you $28.56 final bill oct comes the same bill is sent no check no credit to my bank so today I called about it and due to the fact i didn't have my pin mind i did have the account number credit amount due everything else just not my pin they couldn't help me they told me Ihad go down with a valid government id to confirm its me to see when they will pay what they owe me. I go down there. In the store the only thing they could do is change my pin they could no help me or tell me when to expect a refund so I had tp call customer service again with the new pin I made from my car to get any info about when to expect a refund then the customer service person on the phone says i put in a request for you to get your refund so i asked wait do we have to request the money you owe us when we cancel your service and she said yes. Even if I decide I need to go back to a regular cellphone carrier it will never be Tmobile. Good job leaving a lasting impression read more

Two years ago I went to the T Mobile store to purchase a new phone. It was the worst experience that I have ever had in a phone store. The young man that was assigned to me acted like he could not wait to be finished with me. I asked him to show me the various Samsung phones. He refused to show me all the phones except for the A20(which is a piece of garbage).The whole time he was attempting to help me ,he was taking personal calls and texting (rude).When he was setting up my plan, he was supposed to set me up with the 55 and over plan.Two years later one of my friends mentioned what her monthly rate was which was $20 per month less than I had been paying for the last 2 years.Turns out I was not signed up for the 55 and over plan after all! I needed to switch carriers from at&t to tmobile due to circumstances beyond my control. At&t, a company I've been with for nearly 13 years, basically gave me the run around and wouldn't help me. I went to the Tmobile store and the staff there was able to give me straightforward answers and help me get my phones unlocked, ported, and set up without a hassle. I normally have nothing but praise for T-mobile. However, I have been looking at phones because I will be needing to replace my 4-yr old one soon. I'm trying to make an informed decision so I'm getting as many opinions on the different phones available which may meet my specific needs/wants. I was in the park place mall at the t-mobile store there and the man was annoyed with my questions. I felt like he expected me to already know what I wanted. He wasn't very knowledgable about the different phones, except the Samsung one. I advised that I already counted that one out and I was interested in the windows phone. He said it was a good phone but couldn't tell me what was good about it. All in all, he was no help and the worst part was he didn't seem too interested in helping me either. This place apparently gets a lot of bad reviews, but my experience was pretty good. I went in to get a new phone last weekend as mine was just acting up. My associate was Eric, and he was really helpful. He showed me which phones I could get for free, before he tried to sell me the more expensive phones. I had some questions on which case to get, and he was knowledgeable on which case would work for me. He put my screen protector on my phone and it was perfect, not a single air bubble. He is even helped out my father as what he had done the day before was a worse deal then what he could get that day. My only issue was that there was a lot of up selling, which I guess one should come to expect in a place like this. They did not honor the warranty on a phone charger that I bought. They sold me on a more expensive charger saying that they have a full one year warranty if it breaks in anyway. I have used it for 7 months and the cord came apart and stopped working. They said that since the cord had come apart that the warranty would not be honored. I have been a Tmobile user for almost a decade. As long as I have been with them I have had one complaint...customer service. It has always been incredibly difficult to get a straight answer from anyone about anything! So, when my ancient phone finally crapped out on me, I was super hesitant to go in and get a new one. I didn't want to go through the hassle of purchasing the "smart phone" and data plan that I really needed. I went in to bite the bullet on a Saturday, and this particular store was pretty busy. Iris came to help out right away. She answered all of my questions thoroughly, and went through several options for me and my husband. We left with two new phones and a new service package feeling pretty good about our new purchase. However, after I got home I realized I had several questions that I didn't think to ask, and was now feeling unsure. I went back the next day to talk to Iris, and just as before, she answered all of my questions to my satisfaction. I love my new phone, and am a lot more confident about my service. DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE!!! Went to get service switched from Verizon. Sales rep was laying to me since I walked in the door. I was promised that T-Mobile would pay my bill from Verizon plus they would take me 2 phones and use it as down payment for new. I was promised "insider hookup " of 20% on my bill. It was not applied until I went to store about 20 times and spent several hours on the phones. Employee are only good to sell you stuff but not to resolve your issue. Manager is avoiding customers and hiding in the back all day for " conference calls ". Once I got insider hookup it was dropped about 2 months later for no reason. Customer representative that I called was nice and credited me for 2 months that I lost my discount and was told that rest of 4 months needs to be resolved by store. Went to store and they are playing games of telling me to contact customer service. Was told to call next day and speak to manager which he refused by being all day on conference calls and busy in the back. They refused to give me contact for district manager and refused to call customer support with 3-way so they wouldn't get caught laying. First time they cheated s for 700$ and this time 130$. My second experience with T-Mobile and another disaster. Because of my bad experience at Tucson Mall, I chose this store. I recently purchased an I-phone and wanted to port my number over from my other phone with another company. My I-phone was working, but was just on another number from Seattle. The salesperson there told me I would have to buy another sim card and it would be $16. I said that I didn't need one because there was already one in the phone. He said, "You HAVE to buy a sim card. What do you expect, you're going to get this stuff for free?" I texted my daughter, who knows cell phones, and she said I did not need one. I just asked the salesperson if I could port my number over. After piddling around with the computer for 15 minutes, the salesperson informed me that the system was too slow, and I would just have to call customer service to get ported over. I asked for the number; he said, "611, Duh." I went out to my car and called customer service; I was jacked around to four different people, and ended up with someone in the Philippines who I could not understand. After a total of 90 minutes on the phone and in this store I ended up contacting my daughter, who, using a REAL T-Mobile connection, got the port under way in under 10 minutes. I am going to keep this service, but never go to any of the stores. This one is as bad as the one at Tucson Mall. read more
