We have experienced continuous problems with our phones and service since moving to Cox, and we are now entering our second consecutive week of major disruptions. This situation has severely impacted on our ability to conduct business. Although I was informed that an external issue had been resolved, we are still encountering significant problems. As of this morning, none of our phone lines have dial tones. I spoke with Lauren earlier, and despite her efforts, she was unable to restore service. She indicated that a technician would be on-site at 10 a.m.--which means we will be without phone service for the first two hours of our business day. This is unacceptable. These ongoing issues have repeatedly consumed valuable time and resources, with multiple technicians both on-site and over the phone, yet no lasting resolution has been achieved. read more

I'd choose no stars if possible! This company has been so unprofessional! I've had a business account with them since 2017. BEWARE anytime you need to change any service at your location they will give you a new start date on a five year contract. I've sold my business and now they want to charge me an early disconnect fee, for not completing my "contract". This company will charge you for anything possible. Money Hungry and Greedy. never ever ever set up internet with this company. they lie about the contract or mislead you and don't respond when you ask questions related to your service. Ivan was the salesman and he contacted me to sell me service and kept emailing me. When I was ready for services he sent a DocuSign and told me nothing about the terms and then never responded to me again. I realize I should have read every page of the terms, but I thought I was in good hands. The customer service here is less than subpar. This is the worst company for television and internet service. Once again we have been without tv and internet service for almost 12 hours. The representatives you speak to want to coddle you and not answer your questions about when will my service be back up. I finally got really frustrated with the last person on the chat that I told him we are not doing this dance again just tell me when we will have service and all he could do was double talk about was it a maintenance issue or an outage. So I told him that I was going to deduct $ 10.00 from my bill for every hour we were down and he quickly wanted to put me over to billing I said no all they want to do is deduct 5 or 10 dollars total. I am going to speak to an attorney first thing Monday morning to see about filing a class action law suit against cox. Save your money and go anywhere else for tv or internet service. read more

Unfortunatly this is the only semi-high speed ISP in my area. We have been business customers since at least 2018. There have been problems. Most recently it took 1 month to move an existing service from one location to another in the same city. Today it is the old equipment mfg'd in 2018 that has been acting up and COX BusinessInternet telling me that they can't come out to replace it for 2 weeks. They also can't find anything wrong with it even though I keep having to reboot it to get the Internet to work so they are probably going to charge me it. Thanks for nothing. Service is bad. This company is the worst. The only reason I am using them is because they are the only provider in my area. I am a teacher who is required to teach from home, so internet is a must right now. I pay $120 a month b/c I need the unlimited plan so me and all my children can teach/attend school. For the past couple of weeks there is been an outage in my area, and previous to that my internet would drop and I would have to restart my modem (however sometime it would not let me reset my modem with the app so I would have to wait on hold for 20 mins to have someone do it from their side). I called today to see if I could get part of my bill credited. I was transferred 3 times, re-verified 3 times, and then they said they can't do it. I can believe they are making people pay for a service that they are not providing. read more

Cox cable is the worst internet service! The reps are rude, condescending jerks! After 23 years of service, I switched my parents account into my name. I asked for a lower rate than $175 a month to be told it was going UP next week by $50! I asked if I should terminate the account and restart it for a better rate, they told me I could but would have to wait six months for service??? After a move, I set up basic home internet service. They offered a free home monitoring camera as a perk. Only about $8 a month more. No charge for camera, no installation fees.I agreed. The service rep was professional,, prompt.. gave me his cell # in case of questions or problems. After 3 days, I wasn't sold on it I called the rep multiple times but never got a response, then the internet stopped working. Could not call cos no wi-fi. Had to go to the center on Broadway, wait for over 1 hr, then reported no service and wanted to cancel camera service. Had to wait 3 days for service rep ( no phone!) He changed out modem and did other things and got it working. He took camera and old modem when he left. I got my bill with a charge for camera and installation fees. Contacted COX for internet service on 10-19-21; paid $50 modem deposit by CITI MasterCard. Service supposed to start 10-24; tech brought modem but could not get proper connection so took modem back. Never had service/modem. Contacted COX for modem deposit refund; never got refund. So disputed charge with CITI. Now COX billing $50 for RETURNED PAYMENT for deposit; threatening to turn over to collection agency. Contacted COX several times; e.g. by CHAT 12-3 at 0745; have transcript. Phoned COX to resolve e.g. Rochelle on 12-6 at 1145 ticket DC42FE; Daniela in Miami; keep getting runaround. Please have COX remove all charges since never had service/modem. The worst experience with a TV provider ever! Couldn't get my cable to work for more than a day at a time and when I tried to cancel they only wanted to sell me more service. When I refused that they were rude and unhelpful. Charged me $24.88 for 1 day of cable service. Almost impossible to get in touch with by phone. I would give them a 0000 rating if it were possible.
