Since January employee Mark Chavez enrolled me in a plan in which my monthly payment according to him would be $107 per month, in the month of January my first bill was $197, they asked me to pay it that they were going to fix it and then I would receive a refund with the difference, then in February my bill was $232 and when I went to complain, they asked me to please pay it that it will take from one to two bill cycles so that the error was fixed, then when my bill arrived in March with a value of $191 and I went to see what was happening I was mistreated in the store by Yoseph, Mark's Supervisor, according to Mark he was going to wait for me at the store to assist me but when I was arriving at the store he called me and told me that his supervisor had sent him to home and Yoseph be there waiting for me . This seems to be a form of Scam, this is shady business practice. This isn't about the Galleria store, but about T-Mobile as a whole. T-Mobile is the most deceitful business I have ever dealt with. Whether because staff are strictly paid on commission for selling more product or staff simply trained to be liars, don't believe anything they tell you. Check and question every number on any contract they present you. My wife and I went into the Arden Mall store to switch from Sprint to T-Mobile after the former was purchased by the latter. The store manager told us how they had "specials" for seniors who were switching from Sprint to T-Mobile, including "free" smart watches and "free" internet. I currently have six more payments on our "free" watches and pay a monthly fee for the internet (we already had internet). So our first experience was being blatantly lied to by the store manager to increase out monthly bill. I called and complained to their corporate office and got the "Oh, we will look into it" nonsense of which nothing ever came. Fast forward. For Christmas I decided to upgrade my wife's phone. They had a deal so I decided to upgrade both of our phones since they were both over four years old. And of course there was a "special" where if we increased from 2 lines to four it would be a price break due to their promotion. I was paying $171 a month and after this "deal" I was told my bill would go down to $157 a month. They were out of the phones I wanted to we had to do a deferred purchase and come back in a couple weeks when the new phones were in. My wife's came in and we upgraded hers and then I went back the following week to see if mine came in (they were supposed to call, but never do) and then am told my phone wasn't getting the promised discount and my monthly bill was going to $230.00. Lied to again, but this time I am not standing for it. I told them to cancel everything, get my wife's phone back (they kept it when they did the upgrade) and we will go back to where we were (and then I will change carriers). They are supposed to have the district manager call me tomorrow so I will update afterwards. read more

This is for the T-Mobile located upstairs. Mark is a complete liar & fraud. I upgraded both my phones & was very clear when I told him I did no want my phone bill going up. He told me with my trade ins and the promotion they were offering my phone bill would stay the same. He even wrote the entire breakdown on paper. Even circling what my new phone bill would be which showed it a little cheaper. Which he said was due to the promotion and credits blah blah blah. We'll fast forward to my new bill which is now $106 higher than usual. I called customer service & was told with the new promotion I received its required i upgrade my plan. Mark never once told me this. I was never interested in upgrading my plan. There was nothing wrong with what I already had for the last 5 years. I even got 2 iPads also which he said don't require data packages and can be used with the wifi that I get through Tmobile. Another LIE!!!!! Now I'm also stuck paying a $30 data package on each iPad for the next 24 months. I called customer service which said they would do a courtesy credit for a month but there's nothing they can do for the remaining 23 months. T mobile can't be trusted. Especially Mark upstairs. So basically $106 extra on my bill over 24 months comes out to over $2500 I'm now stuck paying so that he could get a few extra commission dollars. They lie. And unless you have time to go over word by word by looking over your contract don't believe what they tell you. read more

I needed a new mobile phone but I really hate buying them. I was with a friend and who wanted to look at phones. My friend pointed out a very affordable phone. I was helped by Mia who was fantastic, she did offer me insurance, but I told her I wasn't interested, she was never pushy, friendly and helpful. I came here about a year and a half ago and switched over 8 lines over from AT&T. The representative addressed my concerns, got me all new devices, saved me a ton of money, and made sure everything was taken care of before I left. The representative also prepared all the paperwork for me to get my early termination fees from AT&T reimbursed. They also transferred all the information from the old devices to the new ones. It should be noted that this representative spent over three hours handling my new account. This is a great store! We don't normally visit this store, but we happened to be there taking care of some other business and decided why not since we were there. We initially had no intentions of purchasing anything, but we were due for an upgrade. It was the Wednesday before Black Friday and fortunately they were running their Black Friday deals early. It was a buy on get one free for the new iPhones. My wife and I were excited to hear this and the opportunity was perfect. We were assisted by a young man named Torrel (sorry if spelling is incorrect), but he was a very courteous and knowledgable young man. I'm not a difficult customer, but I try to be thorough, even being very up to date on tech. We went over the promotion and what qualifies for the promotion. I asked every question in the book and he provided us with accurate information. As we continued to go through the process of purchasing the phone we started to share stories and it turns out that his mother and my wife attended the same high school in the Bay Area. Just left T-Mobile and got introduced to the employees Chris and Mo (if that's even his name). They were both jerking off in the back room. I walked in and they saw me and asked, "What can I help you with?" I told them. Chris goes, "Data?" While he was still in the backroom doorway. I was at the front desk far away from him. It's like how do you think you're going to help me or even going to understand what's going on with my phone issue from so many feet away. I'm not going to scream the issue nor repeat myself. So I told him very blunty to come here and help me. They both did. Already I was aggravated with these two idiots. You can tell they wanted to pack up for the day and go home. But my issue was simple. All they had to do is push a button on their screen. Then they go into detail how they can't do anything and how I need to call customer service and have them do it. But meanwhile they never logged in to even check. And I caught them in a lie. They started to log in but said, "Oh they didn't tell you to come to the store to do this, oh well you need to call them first." Basically they can do it but they're being lazy and want me to call. They said there's many things they can't do. And I have to call to get most things done??? Really because when I do call they're always telling me to go to the store first. Funny how this is, isn't it? I let them have it. And I'm not even done with them yet! They're two lazy pieces of crap and there is a 30 min wait to contact T-Mobile. I cannot log onto my own account and do what I need to. Because a T-Mobile Expert has to be the one to do it. I tried going on T-Mobile's chat but these so called experts just read what you write and get back to you when they want. My time is valuable. That is why I walked into the store because I was right near it. My phone is fine they just needed to add a feature that would of taken them 2 seconds. I could of done it. But somehow you need to be a T-Mobile employee to do it. I have been with T-Mobile for 8 long years and I'm getting sick of it. If stores can not be there for my needs than what good are they??? What a mess! We are t-mobile customers and cell service has been fine, even in Canada. However, I went to my Auburn, CA store to see about getting a replacement for my dead phone. The rep helped me decide on a model, but they did not have any. He called the Roseville Galleria store and they said they had one they would save for me. Thirty minutes later, the manager there says she has to set the timer for charging it or something. Ten minutes later she confesses that it is just a demo model and does not have one to sell me. She apologizes, and I am still without a phone that I need for the three business I run. Meanwhile, they already have three other customers in the store, and she is having to talk two other employees through having to service them while getting my phone ordered. She is understandably frazzled. She said she would give me a discount of some kind for having her order the phone to deliver to my house, but could not print the invoice, so I did not see it until I got home. I don't know what it was because I was charged $30 for upgrade support. Are you kidding? After driving down there to leave empty-handed? Plus, there is no tracking form for the phone on the email invoice. I HATE going into phone stores, and T-mobile is no different than the others I've experienced. This is the BEST T-Mobile in the area. I used to go to the pleasant grove location and had an awful scam experience at that one so I won't return. The customer service is out of this world at this location. They are upfront and honest and they don't put a ton of pressure on you to buy or upgrade stuff. I went in because I wanted to return my galaxy I got but I was outside the 14 day policy. I ended up finding out I was scammed into a trade in at the previous location I was going and did not receive the trade in deal. They gave me a ton of advice and made me feel so comfortable, set me up with my new iPhone and I walked out of there feeling so relieved. Don't waste your time going anywhere else. This T-Mobile store is on the first floor of the Galleria Mall near the entrance to Nordstrom. I have 3 words for you..."Ask for Taylor!" She was very professional, friendly and helpful and truly understands the meaning of providing excellent customer service. With an older LG Android phone being replaced with a new Apple phone, she was able to quickly set-up the new SIM and then went above and beyond by making some adjustments to maximize the performance and speed of the new phone! The biggest challenge was to next port all the old phone's pics, videos and other data from a very stubborn barely functioning LG to the new Apple phone. She was VERY persistent and was ultimately successful (with a little help from the resident tech guru manager) in getting everything moved over! 1) Greeted quickly upon entering the store, 2) Excellent customer service that was 3) friendly and 4) professional. 5) Persistent in making sure all needs were met = 5 stars for Taylor and this T-Mobile location! read more

When I went in for a plan, salesguy kept trying to push products on me. Annoying and a little slimy, but whatever. I got my SIM card with a plan and left. I came in later to switch something around on my plan. Salesperson acted like my friend and I were bothering her by coming in. She is visibly annoyed when we are friendly enough with her. Weird, but whatever. She tells us that in order to make a cancellation on my plan, I need to call T-Mobile's corporate office. A few days later, I call T-Mobile. They tell me that I need to cancel with the store. I call the store and they tell me that it can only happen over the phone with corporate. Okay... I get corporate on the line, and am told because I didn't actually purchase a phone at the store, the store needs to cancel. Woman at the store says she will call corporate and get us on a 3-way call to cancel this thing. An hour passes, the call never comes. I call the woman at the store and she says they were 'busy'. Needless to say, I was mad. It was 8PM on a Tuesday. I don't suspect that this is a busy time for a mall. Even if it were busy, if I hadn't called her, she would have forgotten about me. I think that this woman didn't want to make the cancellation herself because it would look bad for the store? I have no idea. Either way, the situation doesn't make her look good. I ended up having to demand a cancellation through a corporate manager. The people working this store are, from my view, greedy and unhelpful. I would not go back. read more

This kiosk is located in the Nordstrom wing, sandwiched in between Gymboree and Banana Republic. The Mr. and I were looking to upgrade our phones after keeping our old ones for nearly three years. We opted for the Samsung Memoir because it has an 8 megapixel camera, thus avoiding the trouble of buying a separate point and shoot camera for myself. I'm an extremely casual photographer and we already have an SLR so it's not like I'm relying on this camera to be the best out there. Our first visit was on Saturday night just to play around with the camera. A nice young man named Aaron helped us out and was able to answer all of my husbands high tech questions, while I zoned out --- a normal behavior of mine when in the presence of tech talk. He showed us the different types of phones with cameras and video so we could compare. We were also pleased to find out that Tmobile does price matches as long as the company has a physical brick & mortar address. We took his business card and went back home so the hubby could do more research to make sure the phone was the best for us and see if there were better deals at the .com stores. Last night the Mr. decided to give Aaron a call to ask about price matches ... blah blah blah. In the end Aaron was able to really work with us to get us the best deal. So we zipped on over there and he helped us for nearly two hours, all while still managing to help other customers. He figured out a plan for us to cancel our existing contract and start a new one, on top of that buy the new cameo frame. When Aaron made the call to the corporate office to cancel our contract, the tmobile corporate rep wanted to talk to my husband. He was trying to negotiate some type of better deal but in the end, Aaron's deal he had set for us was the best option. After all the craziness, we bought two Samsung Memoirs and the Cameo frame. We also have three rebates, all valued at $50 each! Since the initial activation process was going to be a few minutes, Aaron suggested we have a seat or walk around the mall for a few minutes. This was fine with us since he was the only rep at the kiosk and there were other customers. It was hard to be impatient with Aaron especially since he was so helpful and patient with us. So if you're looking to get a new phone and a sales rep that is looking out for your best interests, ask for Aaron! read more

They told me to call T-mobile customer service which I just did right now who told me to go back in store and we will see how that goes. I had a lot of things going on with my IPhone 6 16gb so I scheduled an appointment with apple and after getting there for my appointment and waiting in line for 30 mins they told me I had no appointment in the first place and that I needed to reschedule!! I was really mad so I decided to stop by this Tmobile on my way out..all of the employees are really nice and work together to help their customers get the best deals ever!! All of them go out of their way to really help and make you feel like family!! Thanks to Austin, Dana, and Brian I walked out of there completely satisfied with a great deal and a brand new iPhone 6s 64gb!!!! This was way more than I had expected!!! This review is only reflective of the young gentleman who helped my boyfriend and I, not once but twice in difficult situations, Joe $. So i personally hate dealing with anything related to phones. I find nothing pleasant about the experience but that all changed when joe helped us out. Our first visit he greeted us with a smile and was nothing short of professional. He handled the long transaction perfectly and asked for assistance when he wanted to make sure we were getting what we wanted. My boyfriend left with a new phone and was extremely happy! On our second visit I decided it was time for me to get a phone. Mind you I've been an AT&T customer for over 10 years. We were lucky enough to get joe to help us out again. Well, due to a mistake on our part this was also a very difficult transaction. His fellow employee was on lunch break and he was left alone. The store started to fill up with customers and we sat down (since we would take a while) to let a few people go before us. He handled this situation very professionally again, never showed a sign of being flustered and helped everyone the same way he helped us. He even stayed after they had closed to finish our purchase with out making us feel rushed or hurried. So as a store it's self to me it's just an average store.
