I want to say thank you to Sam for helping me with my new account. I signed up with T-Mobile online only to run into a snag that they couldn't help me with. After getting nowhere with the chat people online, they suggested I go to a store in town (Redding). I called the store on Churn Creek and a female answered and said she could not help me because I did it online. She was so rude I couldn't believe it. I then called the T-Mobile store on Dana in the mall as I was in tears with frustration. Sam answered the phone and told me to come right over. He was so wonderful and patient and helped me set up my account and transfer my service from Verizon to them. I want to say THANK YOU Sam. You were patient, kind, and helped me with everything I needed. You are wonderful! I suggest anyone moving their service or getting new service to go see Sam at T-Mobile at the mall. He even got me a better deal than the one I signed up for online. He's the best!!! Do not go to the Churn Creek T-Mobile as they are extremely rude and if they can't make money off of you, they won't help you. Please see Sam. Thanks again!! read more

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at the T-Mobile store in the Shasta Mall was unacceptable. I was helped by an employee named Sam, and his customer service was some of the worst I've ever experienced. He was rude, dismissive, impatient, and acted as though helping customers was an inconvenience. Instead of listening to my concerns or trying to resolve the issue, he spoke to me disrespectfully and offered no real assistance. I'm 60 years old, and I can honestly say this was one of the worst customer service experiences I've had. No customer should be treated the way I was. A little courtesy and professionalism go a long way, and unfortunately, neither was present during my visit. I hope T-Mobile management addresses this issue because employees like this can drive loyal customers away. I will think twice before returning to this location and would encourage others to expect better customer service elsewhere. read more

If you want them to Take your ID and your credit card information charge you for a cell phone that is being sent to somebody Else, go to the mall. I went here thinking that I would sign up for T-Mobile. I had problems with my SIM card being locked by AT&T. It took me a few days to get through to AT&T. They made me Hold onto the iPhone watch even though I tried to give it back to him two days later. I was afraid I was gonna have problems with AT&T. They would not let me give it back to them. When I finally did sign on with Metro T-Mobile instead of T-Mobile because I guess there is a difference. The guy charged me a restocking fee took a photograph of my drivers license front and back. I got charged a restocking fee. About a month later I gotta charge on my credit card for a phone. I called t-Mobile-customer service. They said there was fraud going on at that store and they would give me a call back within a week. This was a month ago and I never got a call back from T-Mobile. I don't even know if they took care of the person who committed fraud. Go here if you wanna be robbed. read more

They're not very straightforward about pricing or anything. If you ask them to clarify something on your bill or when signing up you ask about what something costs they speed up what they're saying and kind of don't really give a clear answer. Also we switched from AT&T and with AT&T I had great signal everywhere. With T-Mobile I cannot make a single damn call anywhere. It sucks so bad. I have to be on WiFi to basically use my phone. Dane sold us two phones last weekend and assured us that our bill was only going up $30. He added two additional lines to our account and changed our plan to get us "discounts" as well. We repeatedly asked for the dollar amount of our new phone bill after these changes and he again told us every time that "it's only going up by $30" but refused to give an actual dollar amount of our new bill. When I tried to have him take my new phone off (knew it was suspicious) he said my phone wouldn't affect the monthly bill so whether I took it home or not it would be the same price so I may as well take it. We got our bill today and surprise! It's up by $65! Twice the amount Dane told us it would be. When I called customer service they were even confused about why we were told in store that we HAD to upgrade to a new plan. We were instructed to go back in store and have the two new unnecessary lines removed, return my phone, and go back to our old plan because with our old plan my husbands new phone would only be an extra $20 a month instead of the $65 we're being charged after the "discounts". The phone rep warned they would try to talk us out of it. The phone rep also told me I had a limited window to return my phone and should do it asap.When I called the store about the return Dane told me that the person that does returns is on vacation and they couldn't help until possibly Monday. Of course. So predatory! They should honor the prices they quote customers. So annoyed he probably got commission for intentionally misleading us. read more

I feel I was lied to and misled. I was told one price to set up. When I signed up it was $100 + bucks higher. I was told their 5G would reach anywhere. I went out of town and lost all service. I WAS PRESENTED WITH A $45 BILL DUE ON THE 28TH WHEN I EXPRESSLY WANTED THE DUE DATE CHANGED TO THE 5TH. I THEN WAS PRESENTED WITH A BILL FOR $ 180+ JUST A FEW DAYS LATER DUE ON THE 5TH. I don't see any value in paying an outrageous cell phone bill when the service does not work properly. Since dealing with T-Mobil, the only consistent things I have received is rotten service and lie after lie that they expect me to pay for. The service is bad. The lies are consistent. T-Mobile - Getting great service while upgrading my phone - Mobile Phones Near Me - Redding, California

We fell for the marketing from T-Mobile stating that they have the same coverage as other carriers, no difference, etc. etc. Looked at their coverage map which shows our home and our work places in complete umbrella of coverage. We were with Verizon which is expensive but had excellent coverage. So we make the switch which cuts our bill in half... and now we can barely get texts at home and work. Half the time, our phones say "SOS" indicating we have no signal and are completely disconnected from the network. Don't even think about sending an email (unless connected to wi-fi), and trying to send simple texts are hit and miss. Dropped calls, etc. etc. Were trapped in a 2 year contract, T Mobile's response to our complaints is they aren't responsible for their coverage map misstating coverage in specific locations. Moral of the story... you get what you pay for! read more

My T Mobile phone does not work. It will do everything except receive an incoming call. I have spent hours on the phone and in their store with their technical support people and it still does not work. The last "technical support person" couldn't fix it and opened a ticket with supposedly higher up engineer types. I waited over the weekend for their call and when it came was told he didn't know what to do and would "open a ticket" and I have to wait another 72 hours. I'm just getting the run around. I'm a senior citizen with health issues and I'm uncomfortable not having a working phone. read more

I went in to have my husband's broken phone. The employee Christian aka claimed to be Assistant mngr. Snapped the whole bottom piece of his water resistant case off trying to take phone out. I asked are you going to replace it. He said nope not my problem. So I went to the churn creek tmobile they were amazing a wonderful young lady "noise" assisted me I was mailed a replacement phone note 20 ultra 2 days later. Upon getting new phone husband says we are going back to Dana dr. Tmobile. Christian refused to replace the case actually said I'll give you 15$ for a 75$ case. Long story short he made a racist remarks about my husband's English see he's a Syrian immigrant here since he was 9yrs. Christian called security asked us to be removed we asked for a higher up mngr. He admitted to breaking it again in front of the other mean and foul employee named JP. Upon talking to security we requested RPD of course they weren't called on us because we weren't breaking any laws. So no replacement case no responsibility taken by tmobile awful foul racist employee's. Bottom line do not go to Dana Dr. Redding ca tmobil go to churn creek location. These are terrible non humans. I visited this store today as a customer and was shocked by the horrible, dehumanizing customer service. There were 3 agents standing idly at the counter and they would make no effort to help me but simply said to call the customer serviced line. I have never in my life experienced the love of rudeness - one male employee even went so far as to threaten me with security removal when I tried to explain I had been on the phone for over an hour trying to get through to the customer service. When I signed up years ago the team of employees were helpful - maybe its new employees or that once you become a customer they don't care about keeping you as one. I am now switching to pure talk - half the price and I would do anything to never have to go to the t-mobile store at the Shasta Mall ever again. read more

I spent over two hours at the t mobile in Chico and wasn't able to get my issue resolved I came to the location in the Redding mall and was here for less then 10 minutes and was able to resolve the problem. As far as T-Mobile goes there okay. If you are over 55 you can get two lines unlimited everything text Data talk for about $65 a month but there are some glitches if you have any kind of metal driveway carport or overhang your signal gets interrupted they have been known to drop calls and sometimes their websites are a little slow I like T-Mobile in general what I don't like about the Anderson store is that the employees really don't care if your phone works they're just went to smile and try to get you to upgrade to a more expensive phone and then new customers are treated way better than a long-time customers but I will say one thing for T-Mobile their customer service on the phone is excellent because you will get an English-speaking in the United States operator and they will help you with your problem I'm staying with T-Mobile but there are some things that make me unhappy but there's still a lot cheaper than the competition read more

My wife and I recently purchased our new iPhone 11's at the T-Mobile store in the Shasta Mall. We owned our old phones when we transferred service from AT&T. We have been T-Mobile customers for about 2 years and this is where we switched carriers. They were wonderful in explaining to us the benefits of switching to T-Mobile before so we were excited to give them the chance to upgrade our phones. We stopped in to shop for options and Fabian was our sales representative. We weren't ready to make our purchase the first visit but made an appointment to see him when we were. Unfortunately there was a computer glitch during our transaction which delayed taking possession of the phones on the day of our appointment, but Fabian and the staff there worked tirelessly to ensure that everything ultimately resolved. We are extremely satisfied with our new iPhones and can't say enough about their tenacity at making sure everything worked out for us...in spite of the obstacles their corporate customer support team seemed put in their path. Complicated mess because these guys are highly pressured by the owners and its all commission driven. They were never in my best interest throughout. For example I went in wanting an IPhone 6 but was steered away from it because The sales person would not have made as much commission. Management pressures them to sell extras like cases protectors etcetera. They even went as far as telling me that the different chargers had different milliamps to encourage us to buy more for different types of phones, which is wrong. My wife got suckered into going to this place because she stumbled on a website that showed how good tmobile service was in this area. I have been a T-Mobile customer for several years and haven't had a single good experience with this company but my review is for the T-Mobile location in the Mt. Shasta Mall in Redding CA. When I initially signed up with this company I was promised $300 in bill credits, that to this date have never seen. When I went in to the Mt.Shasta Mall location to ask about it, the manager looked at me as if I were speaking some alien language he didn't understand and claimed he didn't know what "bill credits" were. So 1st lie. Then regardless how many hundreds of dollars I threw at them, my bill never seemed to go down. I knew something wasn't right, so when I looked into it further. I found that when a bill is paid in full, they carry over that bill you just paid and tack it on to the new bill. And unless you physically confront them about it, the bill will remain as unpaid. I had my phone stolen recently and went into the Anderson, CA location to get a new phone. This store's staff told/showed me I had a zero balance and I obtained a $70 credit to go towards a new phone. This staff also confirmed the two phones on my account were fully paid off. Unfortunately the new phone I wanted wasn't in stock at this location, so I headed to the Redding location in the mall to check their stock. Well, this is where it got interesting......a so-called "more experienced" assistant manager, by the name of "Kiki", claimed I couldn't qualify for a new phone unless I paid $188 balance, plus pay an additional $70 to pay off my original phone. I explained this wasn't correct and she must be mistaken. I had already looked over my account at a different T-Mobile location (Anderson) and the $70 was a credit, not a bill or remaining balance. It was confirmed minutes earlier by the Anderson staff that my account had a zero balance and nothing pending. This is when Kiki went into a rant about how she had more "tenure" than any other T-Mobile employee in the area and pointed out her assistant manager status. I guess I should have felt blessed to have Kiki in our presence, but I just didn't feel that way. It was just one more lie coming out of this store from rude, inexperienced, entitled employees who only care about their commission. Ive wondered what Kiki was going to do with that money she claimed I owed, and how many other people she took money from. I confirmed once again the following day that it was a credit. Don't get played by these people. Go somewhere else. To anyone reading the so-called 5 star reviews at the Redding Mall location, these were placed by friends and family of the employees. I personally know one of the employees and that's a tactic used to counter their negative reviews. You will see multiple mention of the employees names in the 5 star reviews. (Example: Shane) also, every person that left a 5 star review has ONLY ever left 1 or 2 reviews ever on Yelp. Other red flag. don't be fooled. read more

Totally frustrated with the return policy at this store. I bought an iphone 5se at the T mobile store in Shasta Mall in Redding CA operated by MobileOne LLC and after 7 days returned it to the store in the box with all the packaging and ask for a refund. I was told that if I had ported my number back to the previous carrier that they could not refund me the money and it had to be shipped to a Texas address and that I would be refunded by T Mobile corporate. So they created a ups shipping label and packaged it up and I took it to the local ups store in Redding. It shipped and was recieved in TX which was confirmed by UPS tracking. So I call when it was recieved and ask about my refund, the T Mobile customer rep at a call center said I had to wait 17 days to ask about it and they could not call and check on it. I called repeatedly and never got my refund, so I returned to the local T Mobile store and ask that they escalate this to upper management. They gave me Steve Perry the north California Market director. He escalated the issue and I recieved notice by email that the warehouse had not recieved the phone and to go to the local store where I purchased the phone. So I still don't have a refund after returning the phone and its been over 90 days since I tried to return the phone at the local T Mobile store. I paid $488.26 for the phone, security deposit, and sim kit. read more
