I LOVE THIS FACILITY! #1 SAFE #2 CLEAN #3 GREAT ON SITE MANAGERS #4DOORS HAVE ALARMS #5 GATED WITH CAMERAS I have been a repeat customer for many years. From 2004 till currant day. Richard and Loretta have been the best! They are very helpful and have lots of info on what size you need if your not sure. They explain all accepts of the payment options and tell you the hours that you can access the facility. There is many cameras around the place and the DOORS HAVE ALARMS! How cool is that! I recommend AJ's to anyone that likes a safe, clean and friendly place. They also have locks to buy if you forgot one like me. Loretta even let me use a dolly to move the heavy stuff in! I have access 7 days a week. Being that it is a private facility for the customers, I feel SAFE AND SECURE HERE. Melissa M is very wrong about what she said, and she is NOT A RENTER. According to what I read, she is a buyer of contents in the unit and SHE DID NOT FOLLOW THE RULES. Richard and Loretta protect and keep the facility safe for us. They are always walking around and taking their little white jack Russell out for a walk. They pick up the trash and cigarette butts others leave behind. First I'd like to thank Loretta & Richard for watching over mine & everyone elses storage units & being security. Ive been with them for nearly 4 years & off & on through previous years as well. Second of all I was informed that someone (melissa) who i dont know tried using my gate code to get in. Im glad that they were approached & stopped by Loretta & her husband. The office closes at 5:30pm & gate at 7pm its posted on the gate & office door except for holidays. Also everyone works so there are other ways of going about getting the storage cleared out (friends, family ect) if you dont have time because your working til 3. I work at a houseboat storage yard & i start @5am & work til 5:30pm. Again i appreciate the managers there. Its their job to take care of the facility & security. I would ask anyone who is looking for a storage unit or has a storage unit to ask yourself if you want a storage unit that has people living & protecting your belongings or just a gated facility with some security. So, over the last 8 yrs this has been my go to place when I need to store my stuff. I ve tried other places and they were as kept up. The customer service sucked. But AJ is definitely clean, they take great care of their customers. They even have alarms on each units door and cameras that help with peace of mind. I gotta say, what I like about them is that their customer service is on point. Management showed up recently to drop things off at the office on there day off, during the holiday and they helped me out out anyways. I was in the middle of moving out. I had a small unit with them but last minute needed to switch to a bigger one. And they absolutely took care of me. Anyhow for what it's worth, I recommend them and have recommended them to several of my other friends that now have units at Aj's mini storage. I have had nothing but a positive experience with this storage. The facility as well as the storage units are very nice and clean. Love the gate code you have to have to enter. I've been a long time renter and it has always been a clean and safe place to have my storage. The owners are fabulous and regularly go out of their way to help their customers. Having a code for the gate is a nice security feature and since Im not great at remembering numbers the owners being willing to reexplain to me the code when I forget is great. I recommend them all the time and several friends have rented from them with the same reaction. read more

I would give then 0 stars if I could. These managers are rip offs. They have keys to units they go in when they know someone hasn't paid and go through the stuff take things. They lie they say one thing and do something else. They tell u that Oh yeah we will let u do that then change their minds. And just so everyone knows they don't stay on the facility except turning the day. After 4:30 - 5pm they go up to their house in shingletown. read more
