We worked at selling that house for three years and when we did the escrow was thirty days. So we picked a dot on the map and went for it. I found Redding Mini Storage online and ended up doing an end run around the booking service to insure we'd have a place to unload our truck when we arrived. That's when I first met Butch. He reserved our space on the phone and we did our paper work as our crew was loading our goods into a spotless storage space. When we moved into our new home I'd left my key to the storage space with my wife so I had to enlist Butch's assistance once again to remove our lock so my crew could get to loading our truck. The bottom line? A clean and secure storage space at a reasonable rate managed by a gentleman. What more can you ask? ps: I noticed the rat comment. I never saw hide, hair or poop that would indicate a rodent infestation. I did see traps prudently placed near the oleanders where such critters would naturally nest. I have used this storage unit for several months now, last month i cleared out the unit. I called that day and left a voicemail asking to cancel the unit. I was before the cut off of being charged. My account was still charged. I've called and left 4 voicemails and sent an email. Today i called their service center and they can't do anything for me either. Still haven't heard from them, and they aren't in the office when they say they are going to be. Sadly today i will be calling my bank and disputing the charges. read more

I used this facility for only a couple of months while in transition to relocating to Redding. I moved out almost a year ago from this storage facility and have yet to receive my deposit refund, even though I have asked for it several times. The manager has read my complaints but not addressed them, instead getting defensive, about what, I am not sure. If management would look at the books it would be noted that a check was never cleared that was "supposedly" sent to me. The place was clean and swept, no complaints there really. A bit old and run down, but not dirty. You cannot pay online and must pay by check either in the office or by mail. Made it a little difficult when living out of town, but the price was good for what you got. The location was good. Since I didn't know where I would be living at that time it is right off the freeway making it easy to hop on and off. However, each time I went into the office it reeked of pot. I guess maybe that is why I have not gotten a refund cause they can't remember what they did with it or they smoked it! read more

I had a great experience renting a spot here. I hadn't rented storage before, the manager, Butch made it easy. He was professional and friendly. Hours were convenient and my storage was easy to access. An hour after I left one time, Butch left a message that I had left my lock not fully closed. He told he that he'd put one of his locks on it and not to worry about coming back right then. What a relief. He'd told me that he cruised the entire property multiple times a day.
