When I was sold the contract and phones, I clearly stated that I needed the signal booster that previous sales reps had said we would be able to get. Sales rep went ahead and sold us the phones and contract knowing that our phones would not qualify for us to receive said signal booster since the phones I bought were not 4g. I called customer services later on and requested a signal booster, and it was then that they told me that my phones didn't qualify for us to receive it since we didn't have a 4g phone. The customer service rep went ahead and stated that they couldn't do anything for us, and recommended that we go ahead and close our account and return the phones. I returned phones and the sales rep that received phones stated that it was their fault and waived all my restocking 'fees'. The reason for the closure of my phones is because there is no service coverage were I live, we barely get 1 bar outside our patio. And thus was the reason we needed a signal booster. If the sales rep had stated that the phones I was purchasing at the time would not qualify for the signal booster I would not have purchased the contract and phones. I got a bill for $114 after i had returned the phones and cancelled service, charges which I was disputing - I was still in the 30day grace period... And the reps at the t-mobile store told me that I would not get charged a restocking fee due to the fact that i was returning them due to bad sales practice and bad signal at my residence. T-mobile went ahead and debited my account for 114 anyways. and I was so frustrated with the situation that I was willing to let it go just to so that I could put this horrible experience behind me - but, today, about a month later, I get an additional bill from t-mobile stating "we forgot to charge you for this"... a bill of $160... Apparently the phones 'never got returned', even though I have a receipt of the return in my hand from the store. Terrible business practices, never do business with this store and t-mobile. Worst customer service ever. They are only good the first time you sign up with them. Aside from a very bad insurance which is the so called "Jump", which will not cover your phone from accidental damage even though their website says they will cover it. Their employees doesn't know what they are doing as well as they do not know how to explain that freakin "jump"! And very unprofessional too. Imagine paying them more than $10 a month for years and when your phone is damaged, their solution is that you get a new phone from them and again finance it again for 2 freakin years. If I can put zero star I would. These people are terrible! We went here to have my phone replaced. Guy checks the phone, says they will replace it because of insurance. We come back the next week since replacement phone is there already and this one other person doesn't want to replace the phone! Don't buy anything here!! I bought my husband a set of earphones here a few weeks back and never received my receipt through email. I went back in tonight to try to return them and the girl working behind the counter did not return them. She kept telling me that it's past the 14 days because it is now 18 days. However I clearly did not know about the 14 day return policy because I never received my receipt so the whole situation is completely their fault and all she did was tell me you should try to sell these online. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! And what makes this even worse is I have my phone with me obviously and I have my credit card receipt on my app from my credit card with all the information there proving my purchase. She said she just can't do it because she needs a receipt number but I don't have the receipt because they did not send it to me. So even though I have all proof of this purchase she won't help me. I was a former Boost Mobile customer and was looking for a new service. I was told out of the big 4, T-Mobile was a well rounded choice. I did my research and found that was correct. I came into this store despite the reviews(since it is close to home) and was helped by David. He was a great help when I explained to him my situation and explained to me transitioning from Boost to T Mobile and how the plan works. David was very professional and had to ask the manager, Karla I believe, a few things but I was able to get all my questions answered and when I was there waiting I felt like my time was not wasted. While David was setting everything up, Karla and Mason was with me and helping pass the time. Very satisfied. Thank you David for your excellent customer service and Mason and Karla also. Employees are scam artist. Charged me too much for the phone I purchased until I found out that it was $30 less somewhere else and went back and they finally gave me a credit on my bill. Paid cash for the phone but would not give me cash back. Also, did not tell me of the trade-in offer. I mentioned that and was told "Oh, I didn't know you wanted to trade one in." Then, the phone I purchased, LG K7 was not compatible with my security cameras at home. Took it back which I thought was 14 days later, and I was told it was the 15th day, so they would not let me return it. They count the actual day you bought it as the 1st day of the 14 day return policy. They would not budge. The phone is not compatible with the security system I have and they did not care. Suggested I call my security company or LG. Which I did, and that is how I found out the crap phone can not communicate with the camera. Hate this place. Do not purchase anything from them if you can help it. They are full of it. read more

I just want to say how unprofessional this store is. I had been extremlely aggravated with my phone situation switching from ATT to T-Mobile. My purse was stolen and I had no wallet which means I had no ID or debit card, my phone was stolen as well. Earlier this morning I was at the La Jolla Village location and those boys were SO HELPFUL and so nice, and so caring to my situation. I get to this Oceanside location and they treat me like an illegal alien. Like I was just trying to use somebodies account. I asked them if there was anyway they could help me get my phone without a form of identification. They said no. I understand.. that without an ID it makes things difficult. But somebody tell me why The La Jolla location was able to at least look up my account without an ID, they wouldnt even answer any questions if I pulled up the account on my phone so they could do it like that. They would not help me AT ALL. Every time I asked them something they were like " No, it is out of my hands if you dont have an ID. " So your telling me... you can't go over to the computer, look up my account information, and tell me if I am eligable for an upgrade? What kind of store is this? How do you expect me to buy anything from you if you wont answer one simple question for me? Please believe I will never be returning to this location. Most rude people I have ever met in my life. I have been to this T-Mobile twice to get an issue resolved with my phone. Both times I received outstanding customer service and the customer representatives were very knowledgeable. Although they did try to upgrade me (that's part of their job) when I told them that I only wanted to resolve this issue they did not pressure me or ask me again about upgrading. Although there were 4 sales Clerk in the store nobody say "HELLO" or not even dare to ask " HOw can I help you?" 3 slaes clerks focusing on talking to a one customer while the other is infront of the cash register. I said HELLO but seems nobody hear me. I waited for 5 minutes but it seems they don't see me. They are not interested to help. I left the store and the same thing, as if they don't see nothing? I have been a customer of T-Mobile for 12-years because they HAD excellent customer service when I left Sprint to find a new cell phone provider. I have had the same plan for the past 4 years and have been receiving a Corporate Discount for that same length of time. At the beginning of this year, they decided to no longer allow the discount on the rate plan without letting me know or grand-fathering me in. After multiple emails and phone calls to the call center I have been told that they will not honor the discount. This is the final straw. Every other time I have gone into A store location (and I must say I have never been to the Oceanside location - this is the only one that came up to write the review on), I have had to wait while I watch the Sales people play with their own phones and try to look busy. sucks sucks sucks. i used to be t-mobile customer with 2 year family plan contract which expire october 2012. i live vista and work at oceanside. the signal was most time dead. when i talk on the phone, all of sudden hung up automatically. there was always noise on talk from phone. however, i had no choice but keep use it because of contract which i gotta pay $400 for termination fee for 2 lines with my friend. then, i open my own business and have to change company because the call from the cusomers are very important for business- i already had changed phone 2 times-obviously it was not because of the phone. the problem was the company. 2weeks ago, i paid $400 for the termination fee and another $107 for 4days usage - billing cycle was 20th to 19th every mont- i cut out line on 25th because i have to make the business card the following week( they will mail on December for $107. ....piss off i got this week a mail from the horrible company about 'why don't you come back to t-mobil. we will give you free smart phone bra bra..' i wish this company would be bankrupcy. plz do not go to t-mobile read more
