I called in a panic, and within 2 days, Michael and Anthony came out! They so graciously spent 4 1/2 working on the system, rewired, adjusted, etc., and got the system up and working so that we could put on a Talent Show at our school. Besides their amazing work, they didn't charge us for all the hours worked, which was so amazing since we are a school with a limited budget! They were simply AMAZING, AWESOME, and so, so, HELPFUL!!! I would definitely recommend SD Smart Engineer in the future!!

I would advise RSF residents to not waste their time, money and sleep with this company…read more Outdated system and bad service are the key issues. I'm writing this at 3am as the system kept malfunctioning / beeping every 2 hours, waking up everyone in the house. Dispatch says they can't service and need to wait for service hours. Variations of this scenario have happened multiple times. In addition, the app doesn't work properly - it shows door in open position when it's locked. We notified them but they never acted on it. Other than that the app is very outdated (it's not even theirs). Used to have ADT at my old home never had a problem. After the lack of response from their team tonight, we will most definitely explore other options.

I spoke to the owner, Mr. Feldman, directly who made sure my specific concerns/questions were addressed and answered. That is something that doesn't happen every day! I highly recommend Pioneer for anyone looking for excellent customer service by management and technicians who 100% know the industry and specific security systems!!

Very difficult company to deal with. Software Alarm.com which they use is not intuitive and we had…read moreproblems the first five months. When we had to reset the camera, I had to get up on the ladder myself and reset it and then the audio wasn't working, which was a software problem in the first five months and they charged me a trip charge. I would think there is some sort of # Warranty the first year of service. The claim that my son ripped apart the system is false. He inadvertently knocked off one of the internet extenders in the first month of service. Also, I was insistent on learning how to work the software system which they became very impatient with and because of that they consider me high maintenance. I would think paying $900 for the system and installation and then $85 a quarter for service would and entail some training, however, they were very impatient. Upon further investigation, I could've had the same system for only $400 including installation and only a five dollar a month fee for surveillance service which provides the same as Alarm.com. In a nutshell I feel I was over sold on a system. I was very happy to be relieved of the 36 month contract that I signed with them.

In one word: FLAKY!…read more From the first time we called Progressive Technology, the sales manager was very unreliable and took several days or even weeks to reply to emails and phone calls. The company I work for purchased a security system elsewhere and only needed a professional installation. The first time that Progressive was scheduled to come give us an installation estimate they never showed up - I had to call several times and the sales manager said that he got caught up with a problem with another client and didn't have time to call and cancel my appointment. The next time we re-scheduled an estimate, the sales manager showed up over 1 hour late, but didn't call to say he was running late - I had to call him to ask where he was. Progressive gave us a reasonable price quote so we finally scheduled a date for the install. On the day that they were supposed to install, we waited and waited.... Progressive NEVER SHOWED UP. Late in the afternoon, we received an email (not a phone call) saying that we need to fill out some authorization form and send a deposit of %50 in order for them to install. This was never mentioned previously. Over a month and a half later (and several phone calls and emails later), Progressive finally showed up to install our system, and then said that because they "rushed" our install job that full payment was due that day. We paid the 50% deposit and expected the balance would be due in 30 days (as is typical for any other company), but they said no, it is due in full immediately. It has been less than a week since the install and the finance dept has harassed me every single day about the balance due when I told them that our accountant only works 2 days a week and that we will pay the balance ASAP. I would not recommend this company unless you think getting the runaround is a fun and worthwhile way to spend your time and money.
