I'm going to speak specifically about T-mobile as a service, do yourself a favor and buy somewhere else. The service is horrible these last few months in Chicagoland and customer service absolutely sucks. Not only did they switch their payment option from accepting credit cards to only debit cards to collect your payment(specifically giving you a discount for paying on time) but also their are down towers in the area that haven't been resolved in months and they have no eta of when they'll be back up, the estimates they do give are days to weeks. Buy somewhere else Mike Sievert deserves a pay cut or to be fired for failure in providing reliable service because that's my pain point, not that he cares If the service doesn't work what's the point of going to a store?!?! read more

On August 8, 2024, around 2:10pm CST. I went to one of your local T-Mobile stores, located at 215 E. Ogden Ave, suite 109, Naperville, IL. I tried to purchase a new I-Phone 15 (Black/ Silver or Blue). The guy was reluctant to sell me the phone because I refuse to purchase other products or accessories in the store. The short (small) Spanish guy was the customer service person that I was dealing with in the store. Then there was a black girl with curly hair also there, who refused to acknowledge that I only wanted to purchase the phone. All the conversion was about selling other products and not listening to the customer's needs. Which is a poor representation of Tmobile. Perhaps more training is needed to listen to the customer. The employees went together in a huddle to whisper (while other customers were looking upon), then one of the employees went back to check the stock to see if there were any I-Phone 15 in the color that I requested. The employee returned as soon as he walked in the back room as though he went in and turn around and walked out. Once he walked out, he stated NO we do not have any phones of your choice. I asked why you didn't advise during the phone conversation, when I called before driving over., from my job. The employee continued to ask if I wanted to purchase a Wi-Fi connector box / a watch or accessories. So, I left and went back to work and arrived at work in approximately 10 minutes to have one of my coworkers call the same exact store at 215 E. Ogden Ave, suite 109, Naperville, IL. To inquire about the I-Phone 15, in the color of Blue., to see if they have it in stock. She was informed they had the phone and color in stock but it is a first come first serve and they would hold it for her if she requested. I would like to know why your associates are refusing to sell one of your account customers a phone when they have been a loyal customer with T-Mobile for over 10 years. Is it due to refusal to purchase accessories and they are not making commission. If you refuse to sell because of not making commission, I may consider taking my business to Xfinity or AT&T. read more

Worst customer service! They want you to do all the work for them! The store has a poor amount of options, as well. This does not apply to every member at the store, but surely there is a lack of respect, proper care, and even regard for your privacy and information in general. It's kind of like a scam. read more

T-Mobile gave away my number twice for a total of $13,500 stolen! First time they had a photo, second time it was done after hours within the T-Mobile community. The young woman who "assisted" me when I went into this location tonight to get a new phone today was not helpful at all & was also dismissive and rude. She acted as if she was annoyed I walked into the store an hour before closing. I hadn't even walked out of the store yet & she had already took her phone out & starting playing on it. read more

I went into this location and literally walked right out. The two employees were so lame so unhelpful and I honestly believe English is not their first language. Asked a question and response was another question. I said excatly what're do you think I am at. I needed help. These smaller shops are a time waster. They just want to sell you something not help you. T-mobile acquired Sprint. This is bad business. As soon as I can I will go with something else. To bad have been with Sprint for 14 years! Get new employees at this location. People who xan speak a variety of languages and have excellent customer setvice. read more
