I called ABT and spoke with Lou (his direct # 847-954-4140). I did some research before I called and liked the Samsung 55." 4K NEO QLED, originally $1,297.99, on sale for $897.99. Lou stated, "They had a sale starting tomorrow (Saturday) and that he could sell it to me for $651.00." Great! Lou said he could have it delivered next Tuesday. I explained my mother's situation and asked if it could be delivered tomorrow, on Saturday. Lou said, "I'll make it happen." Now that is exceptional customer service! Josh Hoffman was the technician who delivered and set up my mother's new Samsung TV. Josh programmed the Xfinity remote to the new TV, and my mother accidentally hit something that made the TV verbally announce everything she did. Josh asked if she wanted that, and my mother said no. Owner was RUDE AS you know what to me. I had an issue with my internet router going completely dead out of the blue within my 1 year warranty (had less than 6 months). Customer service told me that the store should be able to give me a new router. I called before I went, he confirmed they had 10 units, but told me I couldn't leave with on that day that he has to issue a return, wait for a unit to come in to the store in 3 days and then I could pick it up. Called customer service back before going to the store, they escalated call and was told by manager that if I go into the store and the store calls them (because they wouldn't have a long wait - I specifically asked) they would work with the store so I could get the unit replaced. I went in, he insisted I call customer service, said he had no other phone number he would have to wait to. He said he could generate a return but then I would have to wait 3 days for one to come in. I asked why I couldn't have one in stock and he keep the one coming in. I also offered initially on the phone to purchase a new router which the store told me I could not do because I could only have one unit in a home. But in store he said I could buy a new unit for $100. That I didn't qualify for the special price because I already had one. He got tired of my questions and waiting for customer service to read the rules and just told me to leave, go get internet somewhere else, he doesn't want my business. This after I asked him, how do we process the warranty replacement. He had one lady waiting, told me to leave and just started helping her. I'm contemplating canceling my entire metro service because of him and will be sourcing new phone service and internet service. In the end, customer service paused my current service (had to call back to cancel) added a new internet line and charged me for a new router (only $10 but I will be calling for a refund as my unit is still under warranty and should have been replaced for free). Now I have no internet for 3 more days (which trust me, I will be contacting customer service for a credit for those days as well).

A A Garage/Warehouse almost in the middle of nowhere, that sells washers, dryers, refrigerators,…read moreovens, etc. At 50- 60% off list price. A landlord's paradise. Mostly everything is in fairly good shape, if not excellent condition. The owner told us that they get rejects from Best Buy, Walmart and other big box stores. They carry A LOT of Samsung appliances, which have a bad reputation of breaking down. And they also have a lot of GE (General Electric) which is not one of my favorite manufacturers, although I hear they are making a come back. There are though some LG's, Whirlpools, Frigidaires among other manufactures, but they seem to either get snatched up quickly or perhaps just rarely come in. The facility is not climate controlled AT ALL, so who knows how reliable the stuff really is after sitting in below freezing temps in January or boiling in July. Will post an update after our first purchase.
