This store was kind of helpful, but when my phone was not working, they sent me to I break it. You fix it if they send you there I would avoid that place at all cost. They were no help and gave me the wrong diagnostic on my iPhone this AT&T store does not carry physical iPhones for replacement so if your phone is broken there really no help and you'll have to go to Apple. read more

Well the store is great.... until they turn on you. Then it's mind-blowing!!! I have been dealing with their warranty company called asurion. I would not recommend them in a million years. I'd rather buy a whole new phone than deal with them again. You get transferred from person to person and department to department. Anyway to make a long story short I stopped in there to ask for help while I would be on the phone with asurion expecting that being in a store they would be given priority. Tony started out great. He spent over two hours on the phone seeing exactly what I was talking about with their company asurion. He was over an hour late getting home and had to keep messaging his wife to tell her that he was still dealing with a problem at the store. Yes, their own warranty company. He finally hung up saying that the man on the other line put him on eternal hold and he told me he has someone in mind to call and he would get back to me tomorrow. I go in there the following morning and Tony's not there. I go in again later in the afternoon And tony is there but he is with someone. So I walk up and I say I don't want to bother you but can you call me later about what was happening yesterday and he said okay. By the end of the day I still didn't get a call so I stopped in there again. Tony was not there but the nice man said the manager would be in first thing in the morning. So I stopped in first thing in the morning and Tony is there so I walk up to him and tell him that I'm there to see the manager and that I was told she would be in this morning. He said no she's not here. I said really? And he says yes would you like to see the text. I didn't know why he was talking to me like that. It took me a minute but then I said okay. He said " Really? I don't have to prove anything to you." I said "then why did you ask me". He said "I didn't think you'd say yes". Oh my gosh.. why the game? he turned from being so helpful to me the previous day to downright nasty. At this point he said I need to leave the store and not come back. I was like whoa. "Because I said yes to your question?" So now I definitely needed to speak to the manager but for a different reason so I called back in the afternoon and spoke with her. I gave her my name. I said something crazy happened in there this morning and I'm hoping that you can access the audio and video from first thing this morning. She said I've already talked to Anthony and you can't come in here screaming and cussing and you can't come back. At that point I was floored because I never cussed at anybody in my life. And she went on to say you can't come in here anymore so go to another store. OMG. So when they have a difficult situation. ie. Their own warranty company... They defame their customers and lie about a situation. So I wonder if she ever really looked at what happened that morning or if she was just not wanting her employees to waste any more time with asurion. Regardless the way I was treated and obviously lied about was not cool. I did a whole bunch of research online because nobody can get me in touch with the district manager. I found a whistleblower hotline to report things that are improper. Information on that will follow. But truly. How ridiculous is it for someone who is so grateful for the help they received at a store to come in screaming and cussing? Yet she didn't give me a chance to say anything before she hung up on me. A proper manager would listen to both sides of a situation to ascertain what happened but she didn't seem to want to do that.. they truly picked the wrong person to accuse of "coming in screaming and cussing" because that is actually against every fiber of my being. I was even so calm on that two and a half hour conversation with asurion that I was sitting there with tears in my eyes and shaking instead of raising my voice at all. But Anthony did when he finally asked, at the end of our very long conversation he asked the man on the other line for their ATT ID number.. Tony then told his fellow employee that he was put on an eternal hold and ended up hanging up. Emm was there that day and was so kind after seeing how I was shaking that she went in the back and brought me a bottle of water. And when Tony turned on me and started yelling at me to get out of his store the person there that could attest to my personal emotional state would be the young man whose name escapes me but I remember in having a conversation with him that he was from Moldova. So if a district manager or the store owner sees this I really hope that they can access the audio and video from this date and teach their manager and assistant manager how to properly treat someone even when the situation, caused by your asurion company Is making them stay overtime. Service with a smile, but everyone in this location doesn't know what they are doing. They increased my bill close to $120 for just two lines and an internet change. They removed my free internet for life because they said it was a better deal adding the new internet and creating a bundle of sorts. HORRIBLE. Fiber internet is great, but not if it's constantly dropping out and the equipment stops working. There's no customer service to get my internet working in a timely manner and this is a repeated issue. They also make it nearly impossible to report outages, so of course everything looks fine when the customers can't report issues. Please avoid them if you can!!! I went to the nearest AT and T store to resolve a severe issue with my bill. Someone had added a "free line" to my account to the tune of $280 USD. I started service on August 1 and my phone service was suspended. The asst manager (2 weeks on the job) informed me that I could not use their phone to call customer service to resolve the issue. In explaining the issue, white female store manager walked past me seeing how frustrated I was informing me that she needed a break. She allowed me to explain the whole ordeal with the new employee (I did not know that at the time) only to come in and interject. She knew it was a problem so she should have helped from the beginning. The whole thing happened from 3-3:45 pm today. When she interjected, she started yelling because I was complaining about the service and the fact that I had spend 40+ minutes on the phone with a rep who never told me that I was in danger of immediate suspension and needed to request an extension for phone service. She was yelling at me and I am the victim because I never agreed to a new line with apparently a new SIM Card. She sent me back to the original store with the name of an Asst Mgr who was not there when I arrived. I expressed grave concern because someone had opened an account I did not approve of from the other store in Naperville. I asked them to call the other store to ensure I was taken care of since I was not trusting of them. Of course, the store manager lied and told me they had called the store to give me a manager on site today because no manager was there. My concern is that the store manager was clearly escalating an argument simply because other customers were in the store and I mentioned that it was terrible that they all had to hear this conversation. She said "don't talk to my customers" because I was making conversation and looking in their direction. I believe was dismissive of my concern instead leaving the inexperienced employee who gave me incorrect information. This is terrible customer service. Then she lied informing me the manager was at the other location which was not there. Then she was trying to argue with me raising her voice so that everyone in the store could hear the entire conversation then chastising me because I said it was terrible that other customers could here that someone committed fraud on my account to the tune of $280. The female store manager is rude, disrespectful and ignorant. I am glad I had some class in responding to her. But please, go look at the store security cameras and watch the lack of customer service. read more

DO NOT SIGN UP WITH AT&T! They will tell you you need a "dummy" line to save money (per line) even though your overall bill will be more than it needs to be(but they won't tell you that). And they will charge you insurance coverage for that "dummy" line even though you tell them you don't have a device for that line because you don't use it.  They want your money and do not care about you or actually saving you money! And if you call an agent out on this scam they will openly admit they would still recommend you keep the "dummy" line to save money (even though I just pointed out that I'm not saving money) so they will insult your intelligence after they scam you.  BE CAREFUL! read more

I made the mistake of signing up with AT&T in May. I came over from Verizon and took advantage of their free internet for life plan. Worst mistake I could have made. AT&T has charged me a total of $450 for my free internet. I was told after paying the bill for months to stop and that it was handled by someone in their customer service department. Now my internet has been shut off and their contract is not being upheld. This has been the WORST customer service experience of my life. I've spent a total of 8+ hours on the phone and keep being lied to saying that someone has solved the problem. I've been repeatedly promised calls back that never come. This particular location started out strong and ended up fizzling! I purchased a new iPhone pro 15 at this time and was promised my bill wouldn't change with the exception of a service charge. That turned out to be a total lie! I tied calling AT & T but to no avail. I get left on hold, hung up on, or told that I'd receive a return phone call which never happens! I drive all the way to this place and I get treated like a total stranger who was lied to! They tell you they'll give you a deal on equipment and promise you the moon. That is until you actually make the purchases then the games begin. They cried about charging us a discount on a plug!!! And we had to hear about this until the time we left the store!! Downtown Naperville store employee Kaia is the absolute worse customer service representative. Her attitude towards us was demeaning, condescending and rude. She lied to us about a deal we qualified for and then refused to assist us with correcting the situation. She eventual owned up to her error, but she did not provide us any assistance with the situation. She was flippant about it and said she can't do anything about it, and that we need to now call customer care to correct her error. No apology, no assistance and no customer care. read more

Firas was so helpful in setting up a new phone plan for my family. My parents have been trying to lower the cost of their bill for years and recently this weekend went into the Downtown Naperville location to inquire about any new options for them. Firas informed them of a discount our family qualified for and set up the new plan for us easily and without any issues! He really knows his stuff and made my parents feel comfortable throughout the whole process and even saved them about $100 a month with this new plan! Terrible, terrible service. I needed a new phone and all the clerk wanted to do was discuss my contract and add services. Then I asked to compare different iPhones. This was impossible to do as the phones were at least 30 feet apart. How does a person compare features and the feel of different phones when they are not in close proximity? And even worse, there isn't a chair in the store. There are phones on all of the walls but the interior of the store is wide open. I was in the store last year, and I had to stand for over an hour and a half just waiting to be helped. I went back this time only because the store is so close to my house. This is a mistake that I won't make again. I left the ATT store and walked to the Apple Store. What a difference. Waited on immediately, able to compare iPhones, all from a comfortable stool. Switched over from Verizon at least 6 mos ago. We have had some minor glitches getting texts and sometimes not as strong of a signal but the cost savings offsets that. I visited to activate an older iPhone on an AT&T Next plan (bring your own device). I needed a new SIM card to do so. At first, the employee seemed like he was going to be helpful, but only after I indicated that I had two lines to be added to the plan did he mention that "there is a $5 charge for SIM cards." SURLY is a great way to describe the service. I recommend the LEGITIMATE AT&T store located on Route 59 if you value real customer service. As the employee indicated, this store is privately held and is only an AT&T authorized reseller. This means that they can charge arbitrary fees for a service that is otherwise performed for free at real AT&T stores. Avoid this always empty store at all costs. It is empty for a reason. read more

I came in a few weeks ago to upgrade my phone to the iPhone X and was "helped" by the employee named Rich. He was very rude and called me a "boujee white Naperville girl" for buying the most expensive iPhone and not wanting to pay extra for the insurance on it or buy a case from that store. He messed up the upgrade by putting it on a different phone number in my family plan then when I came back to ask how to fix the issue he said "you should just know all you have to do is switch the SIM card" and continued to be irritated that I didn't know how to fix something he messed up. I have never used Yelp before but me and my family were in this store the other day. My wife told me to find an att near us as we had just moved to this location and I saw this one was closest. I Googled this att store and found out that their yelp account looks horrible for some reason. The whole staff was extremely nice and they were very helpful in finding the new things that I was looking for. Sadly uverse was not eligible at my house but I know this is not controlled by the store. I absolutely will return to this store and will recommend it to my coworkers. I do not want to use names but I was helped by the big guy in the store who did a very good job, He helped me with everything I needed and even was nice enough to ask about what I moved to the area for and what I do for work.
