I had a great experience at T-Mobile when I went in for a warranty exchange. I was greeted immediately upon walking in, which I really appreciated. The whole process was smooth and efficient, I was in and out in about 15 minutes. The representative who helped me was courteous, friendly. The only thing I found a little strange was that the name badges don't include names they just say "Sales Associate." It would be nice to know exactly who helped me so I could recognize them properly. Other than that, it was a very positive experience. read more

Worst experience ever. My daughter and i to go into the store four times. Very unprofessional... the men made my daughter cry.

I went in for a new phone and the kid that helped me had no idea what he was doing and what was even scarier is that he didn't ask for help or clarification. He modified my account in all kinds of ways, added extra lines, lied about a phone promotion and this is even after I asked him over and over again to make sure he was doing it correctly. I finally got my plan situated after calling the help line and talking to three different people including a manager. I'm sure not everyone at this store is horrible but just be careful, and check you bill! read more

If you want to buy a phone and then get a contract with the wrong name on it, buy a phone from here. Then you can be told it's fine, and not a big deal that the wrong name is on your contract. Shout out to Kenny and apparently assistant manager Seriana for not being able to do their jobs correctly. Scary that they can't put the right name on your contract when they literally have your ID in their hands. In October of 2022 I went to the T-Mobile store I've been using since day one at Signal Butte & Baseline Rds., Mesa, AZ. I traded an old LG phone for a new Samsung Galaxy for my wife. The salesperson said all they could transfer over were the contacts. I found that strange because on my previous phone upgrades, everything was transferred. I felt there was no use protesting and insisting they transfer everything, so I left. We planned to upload all the apps again and email her the onboard photos from the old phone somehow. *** Then we decided we needed a new cover and went to the store at Power & Baseline Roads. A guy there named Elijah took care of me and when I told him that all the Signal Butte & Baseline Rds. store could transfer from my wife's old phone to her new phone were the contacts, he said he could transfer everything. Hoping for that good word I'd brought her old phone along. Elijah transferred everything in just a few minutes. *** Later I phoned the Signal Butte Road store and asked for the manager whose name I believe was Laurel. No matter if I have the name correct, I asked her why her folks could not transfer everything. Her reply was that "they are all technicians there" ("there" meaning the Baseline & Power Road Store). I questioned Laurel, "Well then next time someone comes in to upgrade to a new phone, why don't you send them to the other store at Baseline & Power?" As I recall she hung up on me. *** Finally, we do suffer from not-infrequent call drops or calls that cut in and out, and if it happens at home, which it does often, we disconnect and continue the call on our CenturyLink landline. Today while driving at Superstition Springs and Sossaman Roads, I called my wife on her cell. She was home. As I proceeded south on Sossaman and then turned east on Guadalupe Road the call kept cutting in and out. *** We went to Verizon the other day to see about switching to them. We had a 2 PM appointment. They kept saying, "We'll be right with you." We kept reminding them that our appointment was at 2 PM. At 2:25 PM we walked out. I am as disgusted with Verizon as I am T-Mobile's store on Signal Butte Rd. and our too-often poor T-Mobile connections. I hope things get better with T-Mobile's signal strength, as I was told they are going to soon be using all the Sprint towers, as they recently purchased Sprint mobile phone service company. This is a horrible store to visit. Unprofessional, delivered no customer service, there was 4 employees and instead of being attentive to myself as a customer they had personal conversations the entire time. Very disappointing. I know this review won't change anything but hopefully someone else will read it and avoid going to this location. I got internet service with them and it didn't with system I needed it for so returned I think 3 or 4 days later. They gave me a credit for the different of the activation fee and I thought I was done . About 2 or 3 weeks after I returned the equipment. T Mobile without my permission took 50.00 from me because the person who I returned it to didn't do their job correctly and cancel it so I got charged and it over drafted me. I went to T-Mobile calm and Arturo called customer service to get it credited back and I had to wait a few and was patient. He said the 50.00 will be refunded in a week not the 30 days it normally takes You took my money without my permission because of your companies error and I have to wait a week. I asked who was paying my over draft fees. His response was to give me a number to calm. Umm no. It gets better Arturo made sure to tell me treat he called for me. Your mistake not mine and I had to wait. Blows my mind how there error taking money not owed to them without my content that I have to wait a week to get it back. A week to return money that they had no right taking That one overdraft fee then my rent would of been another over draft fee. So going in there was a huge waste of time. I went home and spent another 25 mi it's on the phone with my bank and they helped me. They gave me funds the same day and they weren't the ones that took it without permission right away but a company that had no right to take it a week minimum to get it back. Everyone is struggling he'll 50 bucks over drafted me. There negligence can have a serious financial negative impact on someone and all they can say is sorry. Sorry doesn't fix it. Blows my mind and dude thought he deserved a cookie for calling customer service to help fix there error. Come on now really and he didn't even fix the issue. He didn't try calling back to get the issue fixed and ask about over draft fees nothing to help fix there error tried to hand me a number to call and to tt idk who. Like I said when I left as bad as Verizon and it's true because Verizon didn't do thier job right either. I don't have service but got a bill for 165 and some change. Totally disappointed with the attitude and professionalism with the manager at this store. I have 10 lines with Tmobile and pay over $650 a month. This clown could care less about making customers happy and could care less about keeping people as Tmobile customers. As a manager you'd think he'd try to resolve issues rather than push them off to "corporate stores". I was searching for a particular phone (make, model, and color) by calling around to some local stores since T-Mobile's customer service informed me that they no longer give out info about what is in stock at stores (are you encouraging me to just go to Best Buy?) and I would have to find the product the old fashioned way with some legwork. I called around to about 5-6 stores in the East Valley area. None of which had the phone I was inquiring about in stock. However, the representative at this location was super nice and helpful. He even offered to assist in ordering the phone and to have it shipped directly to my house. None of the other locations offer this to me. If I had to pick one locations to give my business to based on these conversations, it would definitely be this one! read more

Don't shop at this store after spending hundreds of dollars I found out this is a franchise and not part of the corporation, the help was inexperienced regarding their products they had a phone on display that my mom wanted when she asked about it they told her it was unavailable and had been discontinued, we also bought a universal battery charger that after getting it home didn't work we were told to call and exchange it with the corporate office, we also boughtv140$ wireless headphones that worked for less than 16 days and when we went to exchange it we were told it had been over 14 days so we now had to take it to the apple store, never go here their customer service is so bad, I found out that the t mobile in the mall is a corporation and I went their the difference is 100% night and day read more

I use T-Mobile for all of my work phones and have no problem with the cellular service. However, this particular branch has no customer service. Being a sales professional myself, I enjoy watching the sales process the T-Mobile reps go through at the store. They are very good at selling all of their random products to customers. When it comes to anything else but commission, this branch does not care. I believe T-Mobile should send a corporate figure to evaluate every employee at this branch. Today I waited patiently in line to have a few quick things figured out. I get up to the table and I'm half way into the conversation when I notice the sales woman was responding to an upset customer that was mad I got to go before him. I was in there for 20 minutes, and the only person in line. This individual showed up earlier in the day she said, and was back so she wanted to help him instead since he's mad. My issue would have been resolved in 5 minutes but instead she asked me to wait back in line while she helps this customer instead. I politely declined and said this would take 5 minutes and I'm already at the table. She said, "sorry but I'm going to help him." And then walked away. This is the third time I've gone to this branch, all of which have been unpleasant. If you are a T-Mobile customer, I advise to avoid this branch at all cost. This branch needs to be re-trained on customer service extensively, as retention is just as important as sales. Thank you. read more

Was not impressed with the service, I felt like the representative really just wanted to get me out of there so she could deal with customers who were spending money as opposed to those who already had. I came in with an issue regarding my Bill, which seems to change month by month even though I have an unlimited plan that has a set rate which should not change. The young lady informed me that she had no control over the fact that my rate changed over time, which I understand. However the fact she was not able to either explain to me why it changes every month nor help me get to the bottom of it with T-Mobile direct really upset me. After 30-45 minutes of waiting just to speak to someone I was completely blown away at the fact that no one was willing to help me figure out why I was having this issue. I've had T-Mobile for years and never had an issue until recently and because this location is located near my work I figured I would stop in so I could handle it face-to-face as opposed to over The phone. Unfortunately that was the wrong decision as they could of not cared less if I was satisfied or not because I wasn't spending money with her that day. Anyhow the only reason I give them two stars is because of the fact that their store was nice, in order and clean. I would give no stars if i could. We went in because my husband's battery was dying rapidly. We were told some mumbo jumbo about if we just replace the battery it could cause other problems with the phone. It could be true but i felt like they just wanted the sale of a new phone for him but i didn't feel like arguing or driving around to find a replacement battery. We bought him a new phone and i notice when i get home on the my account app that the girl had added insurance at $10 per month without my authorization. I called the store and was given more mumbo jumbo about how it could have been a mistake and he couldn't correct it and i would have to wait until Monday to talk to her so she could fix it, this was Saturday when we were in. So you mean to tell me i should have to wait three days for her to fix her "mistake"? The guy on the phone never even offered me an apology for the inconvenience. Whether it's a mistake or on purpose what should have been said is I'm really sorry for that let me see what i can do to fix it. Poor customer service and i feel like we were given the run around. Spent 15 minutes of my life i will never get back on the phone with customer care to fix her mistake. read more
