They require you to submit a reason online, generate a case number, and then call in to actually cancel. Even after doing all that, I had to go through multiple automated prompts before finally reaching someone who could help. By the time I got through, our phone number had already been ported to another provider, meaning Grasshopper was no longer providing any service. Despite that, they continued to charge us. When I asked for a refund for the months we were not using the service, I was told the representative "did not have the option" to issue one. So not only were we billed for a service we weren't using, but there was also no resolution offered. This process feels intentionally difficult and not customer-friendly. If a number is ported out, the account should be automatically canceled, or at the very least, billing should stop. Overall, very disappointing experience. I would not recommend this service.

Grasshopper charged me over $1400 for a plan so outdated it might as well come with a rotary dial and a carrier pigeon. I didn't even get a heads-up...just BAM! "Thanks for your money." When I called to ask why I was being billed like it's 2007, their response was basically, "That's the plan you picked." Really? That's the best you've got? I pointed out, that Google, Zoom, RingCentral, and even your neighbor's kid's lemonade stand offer better VOIP services at half the price. And just like that, a miracle! Suddenly, they do have a new plan that only costs $800. Amazing how those don't come up until you start yelling into the void. I asked three separate times to be switched to that cheaper plan and to be credited for the blatant overcharge. Each time, they promised it was "taken care of." Spoiler: it never was. Months went by. Still no adjustment, no refund , just the distant sound of crickets and the faint stench of corporate indifference. I finally pulled the plug, expecting at least a partial credit for the six months left on my plan. But no, customer service told me that "we don't do that." So to recap: Grasshopper charged me premium pricing for relic service, tried to upsell me with fake savings only after I complained, broke their own promises multiple times, and finished strong with a big ol' middle finger when I canceled. I've had better service from vending machines. Never again. Grasshopper, you've earned this one-star review with flying colors!

    Bought a new iPhone a week ago at the Verizon wireless store in Salem NH. Didn't have time to…read moretransfer everything from my current iPhone to the new one. Salesperson/tech at the Salem NH store tell me that I have 30 days to transfer and returm the older iPhone to any Verizon Corporate store. brought my old phone to this store today, rep who assists me sends me a text to approve access to my account, looks at the info and tell me he can't take the old phone back. Go back and forth he's adamant about not taking the phone back, contradicting what I sas told when I bought the phone. Took the old phone to the Verizon wireless store in Reading, was in and out in less than 10 mins and kt was a good experience, unlike the unhelpful rep at the Medford store.

Terrible experience with Cellular Sales posing as Verizon…read more I had an extremely frustrating experience at this store, which is listed as "Verizon," but is actually an authorized retailer called Cellular Sales. I spent over 6 hours transitioning my family of 4 from T-Mobile to Verizon, and it was a nightmare from start to finish. First, they told me they would waive the $45 setup fee. However, it turns out the $45 fee is per line, and when I returned to the store the second day, they refused to honor their promise. As a "favor" they had waived only one of the four $45 fees, but when I asked for a receipt or any proof, they said the adjustment was done on the "back end" and couldn't provide any documentation. In addition, they added a 5th "temporary" line to "mitigate" transferring one of the numbers that was failing to transfer. However, the kicker is that they never deactivated the "temporary" line. When I called to address the issue as I did not want to pay for five lines, they denied everything and refused to help. I was in contact with several actual Verizon representatives which confirmed that there was a 5th line and the myVerizon app reflected it as well. Thankful, Verizon was able to take this number off for me. They also promised to waive activation fees for 3 out of the 4 lines, but after speaking with Verizon customer service, I found out none of the fees were actually waived. To make matters worse, they promised us two $50 gift cards for accessories. After picking out our cases and putting it on our new iPhones it was later retracted unless we added phone protection -- a clear bait-and-switch. All in all, the second day when I went back to the store to try and resolve these above issues, the staff ignored us. One person rudely claimed they had to attend to another customer (there was no one else there) when I expressed frustration over the time we spent in the store. Their response was simply, "Well, we spent a lot of time with you too." This store is unprofessional, dishonest, and has no regard for customer service. DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE!
