Going to any cell phone service provider storefront will take at least an hour and while this particular visit was not quick, the staff here were helpful and knowledgeable - they also had a great sense of humor as an added bonus, which made the time go by faster. I came in with my mom and Levar was so great! My parents live in Malaysia and come to visit me for Thanksgiving into New Years. It's always a pain for my parents to figure out their phone lines when they visit (to the point where my dad doesn't even bother and relies on me, my mom, and Wi-Fi to communicate). My mom had an AT&T line and has been trying to cancel her account for months with no avail. We came into T-Mobile to get her a new line and say good riddance to AT&T. Levar was so attentive and presented all options to us to make sure we're not paying more than we need to. He helped her set up the line and took her through step by step. At the same time he helped me utilize the full benefits of my plan by setting up my Netflix and Apple TV account payments. This store is ALWAYS packed... I mean ALWAYS... My phone was no longer holding a charge last week & I was told I needed a new battery (from Customer Service) so after calling 7 T-Mobile stores in the area to find out if they carry batteries I am told NO everywhere... Then I call this store to find out they carry them... so I am shocked & run right down... To my amazement there was only 1 other person in the store at the time so I waited my turn & then purchased my battery & as I was waiting like I mentioned it FILLED UP, by the time I left there was easily 10 people in line behind me so I suggest FIRST THING IN THE AM... They are just a real busy store ... Parking is somewhat hard also, but I found a spot right out front, but that might have been in part because I did go when they first opened... They are all nice enough in there, nothing fabulous for customer service... But somtimes you just have to go to the store... read more

I have spent 3 days and something like 12 hours trying to deal with the T-Mobile/Sprint mess, and this store in particular. I don't blame the employees as much as the corporation. The employees were were not sufficiently trained to deal with the complexity of the merger. I'd like to think that they were trying their best, but they made me buy a phone I didn't want. An exception to trying their best is store manager Dave, who is a jerk. There's not much funny about all my time that has been wasted, except for this: After spending 40 minutes on the phone with Sprint rep "Gayarr" he said "Almost done, I've just got to transfer you to our specialist now." Worst customer service at any TMobile store I've ever experienced. Went into this store today, 8/10/18, around 2:30pm. Dealt with a tall young African American male maybe in his mid 20s...he tried his best but clearly was new at the job, took a long time to find the info I needed. But it was the manager that stood out: 30-40 something white guy, portly build, and with flat, cold creepy eyes, who out of nowhere butted into the sale and seemed intent on giving me a stare-down when I simply returned eye contact. Really weird...small wanger maybe? LOL. As soon as he got involved, things went from bad to worse. No minimum baseline of friendliness or helpfulness, complete absence of even rudimentary manners, and worst of all, they were painfully slow in figuring out what I wanted, and then when the gears finally started turning, abruptly told me that the mobile plan I was interested in had ended just the day before. Zero "I'm sorry for the inconvenience" perfunctory apology, but instead immediately tried to upsell me to the much costlier regular plan. Honestly, I felt sorry for the sales rep, I could tell he was just a prisoner of his complete a-hole of a boss. No wonder the store was virtually empty when I came in. Disgusted, I just walked out and went to another T-Mobile store about a 15 minute drive away. Much more competent, courteous and professional service, which is what I would normally expect from a solid company like T-Mobile, of which I've been a customer for almost two decades. read more

DON'T COME HERE! First off, they are very late when opening the store on the weekends. Secondly, this place is incredibly shady and work strategically to try to con people of money. I can here 5 times just to inquire about getting a refund for an IPhone I returned. A couple of staff told me different things about getting my refund while others told me that I wasn't able to get a refund. If your going to buy a phone just do it online!! read more

I went into T Mobile at Station Landing, Medford yesterday, 1/10/20. Had about a 15 minute wait. Couldn't get a label from phone pics, which is not really their job. However, I was directed over to Dave (manager), who was super nice. Told him my dilemma and he immediately said: Sure I can help you out (no hesitation). He sent my label to HIS email, and printed it out for me in 5 minutes! Didn't have to waste his time on me, didn't ask me my phone number, my name, or any other questions. JUST did it.. They were helpful and straight forward. I had Sprint. Sprint sucks. T Mobile showed me a coverage map for work and home, to make sure that I wasn't signing up for something that I couldn't use well. They gave me my free router with no problem (well, there was a problem, but it was my fault for not bringing my license the first time). Great staff. Surprised me for sure. read more

This store has terrible customer service and employees. I called asking for a privacy screen protector to which they said yes. I drove out of my way just to be denied at the store. I was ready to give up my service (even though I have been with the company for nine years) because I had multiple billing errors on my account and the lovely people I spoke with when calling kept me going in circles and circles. Finally, as a last resort, I went into the store thinking that they would tell me the same thing - call back customer service. Instead, I received the opposite. Andrew, the store manager, greeted me and asked me how he could help me. I explained my concerns and he looked up my account. Within minutes, my problem was resolved and my frustration level went from a 10 to 1 (1 being low). I wasn't upset at the store when going in, but T-Mobile as a whole. Because of Andrew's actions and ability to listen to the customer and help them to the best of my ability, I now have a renewed and positive option of T-Mobile. I just wish there were more people like Andrew out there. read more

Hate to rain on everybody's parade here but here what happened to me in this store. This is a PATHETIC store. We had to transfer 3 numbers in family plan from another company to T-Mobile. It took an employee named Junior 2.5 hours to understand what I want from them. He messed up my phone numbers between the phones, messed up my credit history, was rude beyond description and his Manager was no help at all either. I just wonder where T-Mobile is importing those imbeciles with IQ lower than the electric heater baseboard from??? T-Mobile itself became a monstrosity. Many years ago they were nice company caring about their customers - not anymore. It is hard to realize that in terms of cell carrier there are not so many choices in US. The government allowed the carrier marketplace to become semi-monopolized and now you are just a number for them to milk the money out. read more

Went in with a simple problem and I left 5 minutes later feeling great with a solved problem. I just needed a replacement sim card connected to a suspended phone line. A representative named Anna was very helpful and kind, even after I walked right past her when she asked "How are you"! (Sorry, Anna, I still feel bad.) Pros: The salesperson we interacted with was great. It wasn't a busy day so he was able to give us a lot of attention and time and was pleasant and motivated. He was pushing us toward the most expensive phone but you could say that is his job. However, he also, using his own initiative, found a discount through our work and applied the discount for us. Cons: Many of the demo phones were not working because the display case they use is poor. This is a big con because you can not try out all the phones. I would have given them more stars if a) the demo phones were working b) if the salesperson was more objective and less inclined to push us towards the more higher end models. I was very impressed by the salesperson's helpfulness and initiative, however. read more

This review reflects my experience with T-mobile customer service. I purchased a new iPhone 5s for my mom on Cyber Monday on the T-mobile website. An option to port her number was presented, so I selected yes, upon completion of the order I was notified that the phone would take 2-4 days to arrive. Two days later on Wednesday, her number was no longer working. This is not due to any action from the old provider. I called and spoke with the first T-Mobile representative who was cordial but informed me that we had to wait until Monday for the phone to arrive before the number would be active. I told her that my mom would stay without a cell phone until then and if there was anything she can do about that....she said no. I asked to speak with her manager. After a couple of minutes on hold, a very rude woman came on the line and informed me that she was going to "bring on someone who can assist me with my issue" before I could respond, I was being transferred to the main menu again. I patiently selected the customer service option and I was transferred to Ray after several minutes on hold. I informed Ray of the situation and advised him that I was frustrated from the treatment I suffered from the previous two agents and that I wanted to be routed to his manager. Ray said he could help me, I advised him that this was my second call after waiting several minutes both times to speak with someone and I really did not want to waste more time before speaking with a manager. Ray simply refused to transfer me to his manager. After several minutes talking to Ray, I had had it!!! I was so angry and in disbelief that I started to record the conversation with Ray. As I was pressing the record button I advised Ray that I was recording the call so that everyone would know how terrible the T-Mobile customer service was. Ray asked me to stop recording the call and I advised him that all the law requires is that I notified him that the call is being recorded, just like T-Mobile is also recording my voice and did not ask for my approval. Any way, Ray hung up the phone on me. I called again and spoke with with Larry, who listened to my story and calmly informed me that my mom could get a temporary phone using her own phone number (that was ported already to T-Mobile). I asked if he could notate the account so we would not have to go through this again at the store. Larry assured me that he would notate the account and she would have no problem with getting this temporary phone with my mom's number. He was also kind enough to let us know to get to the store quickly before it closed at 8pm since the current time was 7:15 pm. We arrived at the T-mobile store at 7:30 pm and we were greeted by Chris, a very nice representative who spent an hour on the phone with T-mobile customer service trying to find a solution for us. They told him that we could not get a temporary phone because the phone number was listed as "reserved" and this status was due to expire only after midnight. After one hour on the phone, Chris advised us that we had to come back the next day (Saturday after 10 am) so someone can help with the temporary phone with my mom's number. On Saturday, my mom went to the store and after another hour on the phone Chris was advised again that my mom had to wait until Monday to get the new phone and recover her number. Today is Sunday and it has been 5 days since my mom has been without her phone and folks are trying to reach her without success. This experience has truly been a nightmare to say the least. In conclusion, as returning customers to T-Mobile, we are reminded why we left in the first place place. T-MOBILE HAS THE WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE AROUND! THE IDIOTS WHO BUILT A SYSTEM THAT WOULD PORT A PHONE NUMBER BEFORE THE CUSTOMER RECEIVES THE PHONE, SHOULD BE FIRED. MY MOM WANTS TO RUN AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY BEFORE SHE EVEN RECEIVES HER IPHONE! Do not go here to pay your bill! This location used to have a bill pay machine that made paying your bill very easy and convenient but they seem to have gotten rid of it. Now you have to stand in line behind 10 or more other customers starting new contracts,buying phones, dealing with problems and what not. So you spend about a half hour just waiting to pay your bill that should only take minutes. I am very disappointed with the convenience that T-Mobile has seem to of lost in their transition. read more
