I never noticed this T-Mobile and I'm in this shopping center frequently. I needed help with a screen protector and they were very helpful and professional. I was VERY upset when my phone broke and i had no means of communication.... Three hours from home and a broken phone... that was awful. I went into this location when they opened and the customer service was 10/10!!! Desirae helped me first and she was soooo sweet! When she couldn't get it to work, she spoke with her supervisor and mannnnn!!! He was amazing! His name was Beto. He was funny and made the time go by so quickly. He was knowledgeable and had an answer for every question I had. I was upset that I had to get a new phone but it was my fault that the phone was broken and i left the store smiling and in such a better mood about the phone! He is a great asset to the company and I hope everyone has the same experience that I did! read more

I had a wonderful experience at T-Mobile. I went there for a screen saver and ended up with a new IPhone 17 Pro Max. Kate who was my customer service representative was absolutely amazing. She asked me how much was I paying for my current phone and service. I told her. Kate said to me, if I can save you substantial money would you be interested in changing service plans and IPhone? I said yes. Kate was professional, respectful to the older Man/me, kind, courteous and laughter and she took her time with me and showed me the different plans T-Mobile had to offer. Very nice person as were all the other associates working there. Henceforth, I have a new iPhone, a new service plan and savings. I would recommend anyone who is looking to be treated fairly and with dignity, T-Mobile in Laurel MD is the place to go. I have been a Sprint customer since 1998, now that they have never with T-Mobile I came to this store to add a line. My Customer Service Rep , Derek T. was on point. He showed me the best options for what I needed and was persistent to make sure I got what I needed and my account was fixed. He has to call Sprint to get them to work some magic in the background and he struggled just like I have as a customer dealing with phone support. But he wouldn't give up and made sure everything was ready in my new device before leaving the store. He even have me options to save money on my monthly bill and switch over to T-Mobile officially from Sprint. I am meeting with him again in about a week to migrate over and save money. I will say after all these years he was the best rep I have ever dealt with in a phone store. The whole team there was nice and helpful, Betty and Kenny were the other reps and I watched their interactions with other customers and they were great. The store is adhering to a 1:1 ratio so three reps equaled 3 customers, but they moved efficiently. I will be coming back to this location and asking for my man Derek each time. read more

Tmobile failed to instruct me to go online and request that my ETN be paid, now they're refusing to pay it. $495.00 AND, it's now Appearing on my credit !! T-Mobile's $820 Paperweight | 7th Galaxy Note 8 & Counting I have been a T-Mobile customer for 2 and a half years; this year my tenure is coming to an end. I pay over $1200/annually for my service. I pay $144/annualy for the Premium Device Protection w/Assurant. I am on my 7th Galaxy Note 8 and counting. The previous six have experienced the same issue (The inability to ever take a charge again if the battery dies or reaches below 5%). Samsung has not stated whether this is a hardware or software related issue. What has been stated and confirmed by both Samsung and T-Mobile personnel in multiple locations throughout Maryland and Virginia is the fact this issue exists and has been reported by multiple customers. I submitted a claim that was rejected for two reasons: 1. The activation date (the date the SIM card was last online) was not recent. 2. Because of a minor crack on the bottom left of the device. The crack occured attempting to remove the device from its case for the 100th T-Mobile visit. I was returning the device for the issue stated above. Here is my issue with the stated reasons. If the phone does not RECEIVE POWER how do I provide you a online/active date? Why would I buy a $820 phone, pay $144 for device protection to leave it in a broken state? The crack isn't even significant. I could use the device without issue, BUT I DON'T EVER GET POWER TO THE PHONE. Myself as well as their own personell in-store was not able to get in touch with Customer Support. It took over 2.5 hours just to reach someone and at that point we were purposefully passed around through the support line by multiple personnel because they simply did not want to hear/deal with my issue. They would transfer us to their peers, provide no details to that colleague on the 15 minute conversation we just had, and I get left with the opportunity to frustratingly repeat my issue to the next soul. I have wasted both my time and money with you all. I will do my best part to influence others not to do the same. I simply want a $820 device to POWER ON. Is that too much to ask for? TREY from Mississippi was my wife & I's rep yesterday. He recently moved here and his accent is super cute! He was SO knowledgeable about literally everything. I guess that's why his name tag says "Mobile Expert". We were in this store for about an hour and half trying to decide what we wanted to buy and what would make the most sense cost wise for us. Trey took his time, outlined all of the features for us and really was a key reason we ended up buying what we did! I plan to buy a phone for my parents and we are going back next week and will ONLY be dealing with Trey. I plan to call ahead to make sure he's there. Kudos! Great T-Mobile experience!!! read more

I was excited to see that this place was open until 9 since I get off work at 8 but when I got there at 835 the shutter was already half way down. I happened to see an employee name Jonathan or Johnny inside playing with a display phone, I knocked on the door and he looked up then continued to play with the phone and I knocked again then he went to the back, I continue to knock one more time and he reluctantly walked over to the door to tell me they were closed, I informed him that all I wanted was a SIM card and they give them out for free at T-Mobile store from my past experience he told me I needed to pay him $20 for it and that they could only take cash and that he system was off. Every time I have been here in the past it's always been some kind of ripoff I'd rather just go to mall or online and do my shopping than deal with this store again. read more

How did I end up at this location? Only came after recommendation of a friend and that they paid early termination fees. Activated service online to transfer from VZW with transferred number. Receive SIM card with no instructions but a one pager about returning your device, but I'm not returning a device? Bag was labeled BYOD. Few days go by and I attempt to make a call and it goes directly to T-Mobile customer service. I give them name and phone number, nothing. They can only locate my account with my SSN. Ok no problem that is not something I give out freely. What company this day in age can only search by SSN? I ask for the nearest retail location as the phone only gave the partner locations. So the rep gives me the Best Buy location. Did I not ask for a retail location???? Walking up to Best Buy I see a retail location next door. I go in and hear the same give me your SSN. She calls CS to locate the application after me giving my SSN to rep on the phone. The instore rep hangs up the phone after the rep is not able to locate anything. So another rep in the store tells my rep to just run her credit. Really?!?!? I'm sorry I don't just go around letting people run my credit. A new account is opened with my drivers license. I proceed to ask about the ETFs and am told oh that only works if you purchase a phone. So you want me to pay $500 for a Galaxy S5 that I paid $200 for with VZW a month ago so you will pay my ETFs. The kicker was when she said pay for it in installments?!?!? So for $500 I will have paid my own termination fees and have the same phone all to save on a monthly bill? Nah I'm good and politely excited the building. After back and forth, absolutely awful service. The headache to save a few dollars from blood sucking Verizon is not worth the time and energy. They sent a SIM card with no instructions. One company-online, phone or instore should have the same process and procedures. read more

The Staff we dealt with, Alex, Manny and James were Terrific. We brought in New phones to us, and needed our Current Phone Numberrs to be Ported in from another Carrier. They were Patient and Kind and Thoughtful and following Covid protocal. I would Recommend these 3 young men to HELP you. The Problem they and we Encountered were with SPRINT /Customer Service personel on the Phone in the Store. As the systems with T-Mobile merging with Sprint are still in the "Working it Out" stage. It Took way longer to Resolve the issues with the CS being in another Country. Alex, Manny and James handled themselves with the utmost professionalism. Although we Spent way too many hours there, (they kindly joked about wanting to give us, Shirts, Name Badges and to Clock us In.) They THANKED Us for Being so Patient and so Wonderful to deal with. I'm glad I didn't leave once I saw how many people were in this location because I ended up have a great experience here. When I first walked in there were a ton of people and I was worried about a potentially long wait. However, I only had to wait about 20 to 25 minutes which I don't think is bad at all for how many people were there. I came in to get a new phone and my sales person, Arle, was awesome. He was very helpful and not at all pushy like most sales people are which I really appreciated. He made sure to explain everything to me until I understood and he did it all in a timely matter. Overall I had a great experience and I will definitely keep coming to this location whenever I need to go to T-Mobile for something. read more

If I could rate laurel, md tmobile location less than 1 star, I would. I just spent so much time at tmobile to buy headphones for my kids. They only had one pair that I wanted, but I said I have twins and I need 2, can we order another set. He rang up the one pair he had there and had me pay for it. He said yes, that he could order another pair, but then couldn't. He called customer service, but they couldn't help, so I asked if he could call another store, but he refused to because they were busy. Because it's another store, he wouldn't get commission. I do not recommend going to laurel tmobile at all and if you do, this sales persons name was Arle. Ask for someone else, but if you want better service from tmobile, go to the one in Columbia. With that said, I have been a customer since tmobile bought voice stream in 1999. With how bad the customer service has been over the past few years and how much better Verizon's plans are getting, it might be time for a change. read more

The manager is a disgrace and so are the store associates. Charging a hefty restocking fee for a tablet the customer never opened is criminal theft. I then asked the clown manager to include my phones in the trade in program advertised online. He refused even though I was told I could by representatives by phone because the phones were bought two days ago. The clown manager wanted me to pay a restocking fee. Don't go to this store. This management will not offer you discounts unless you are the same race as he is. When I visited the store on 18th and K street, NW, Kenyon Ashley did everything he could to hook me up with every discount possible and waived my activation fees. read more
