I have my mother (whose experience I shared), my friend (who saw her poor weaving skills the day after I got them done in preparation for a wedding) as well as my bank statements to serve as a proof. Dear Tamara Taylor, I'm sorry if revealing my HONEST review of my experience at your salon bothers you. I guess you thought people just leave and keep quiet. Well, we don't. When you treat people unkindly and provide poor service, I have the right to notify others. You need to grow up and learn customer service skills. Bad business and bad experiences should not be kept quiet, that's why reviews are not only legal, but are a good forum to prevent consumers from their wasting time, energy & money in a service that is not up to par.

The expiry is written in small letters on the gift card, but since I've never seen an expiration date on something so expensive, I didn't even think to check. I obviously cannot speak for the services themselves, as I wasn't given the opportunity to use what was already paid for. And that means the vendor just got to pocket the money without providing the service already paid for -- which is super bad taste. It's up to the person receiving the gift card when they can make time to use it, and makes zero difference on the vendor side for when someone can utilize a gift card. Hopefully, the vendor can take this feedback to improve their treatment of future clients.

Once, when a matting & framing job did not seem right, I contacted the owner and she immediately said bring it back. We did, and it was re-done to our liking. So, although high-quality framing and printing is expensive, it's worth going to experts like those at Wimsey Cove when it matters. The one comment I have is that turnover is not fast, but then we haven't been in a hurry. I would highly recommend!
