Be very careful!!! The manager here sold us on buying several devices on payment plans, supposedly at a discounted rate, but then never applied the discount. A year later and we've paid well over the agreed amount. No one at the store will help us, neither will anyone with T-Mobile customer service. Just plain unashamed thievery. read more

Do not waste your time going to this T-mobile for any service or purchases. Went to purchase new phone and add a line. 'Rico' was absolutely no help, said I had to go through the app. I left and ended up calling T-mobile. Got excellent service from Tyrone. He set everything up and sent me back to the store. I ended up with Rico again. Very bad attitude like I was an inconvenience. There were three employees in the store, all in the back room. Both times there were no customers in the store. They did not have the phone in stock and a simple request to call the Chula Vista store to check inventory was denied. I tactfully and respectfully told him he had horrible customer service skills. He was sarcastic and condescending in his attitude. T-mobile at Broadway and Oxford was the complete opposite. read more

Had the worse experience at this location today October 10th, 2022... walked into the store approximately around 6:20pm, which there was a line to the door, as soon as I walked in... some employee by the name " Ashley " on crutches was EXTREMELY RUDE!!! Right away shouts to "either move to the left side or the right and to NOT stand by the door. So I did just that .. I moved to the left . After standing a few minutes in line, knowing I'd be there at least an hour long , I walked out to check on my children who were in the car . When I walked back in .. she screams from across the room to either stay in or out of the store , that I couldn't be coming in and out . And if I didn't like it to leave the store now !!!! read more

Went in July 21,24 to order two screen protectors for myself as well my sister who was with me. we were assisted by employee Jose. As the protectors were being ordered the manager Jesiah Costa came out offering me a "special deal for the day " for the modems display in store for 40$ a month for unlimited home WiFi . no down payment and if I changed my mind to return before two weeks all for 40$ a month . I agreed and a modem 5g gateway along with WiFi mesh access point (as shown on display in store ) was put in bag and I thanked him & left. Decided to keep the WiFi to only found out how spotty it is as well not 40$ a month but triple that price. I had to message the company on website. Disappointed in that manger . read more

My mom went in to purchase a SIM card because hers was stolen along with her debit card. Before she went in I made sure to add her as an authorized user through customer service. Unfortunately she forgot her ID and someone named heram denied her service while lying to her about no one in the store being there to help her and going as far as saying that she wasnt an authorized user. She asked to use the phone to dial me and he also denied her that. Mind you she could text me with WiFi just couldn't make calls. So she was texting me while all of this is happening. I called the store to verify that what he was telling her is true and he told me opposite information. He told me that the other representative in the store was helping someone else and couldn't attend her. Yet he is there? Doing??? So while my mom is trying to get help he is bad mouthing her in Spanish. Also he said my mom wasn't an authorized user when I called T-Mobile AGAIN they verified she was. I don't care that this place is a franchise, that's not an excuse to be a shitty rep. Don't go here unless you want service from people who are mad at the world that their job sucks. read more

Went in at 10:30 to pay off my phone line and upgrade and (IVY) store employee did not have patients with me as well was very rude and kept saying "like I explained" . I had such a hard time getting a new phone after losing my purse with my phone inside of it. T-mobile itself as the company gave the worst run around and I was without a phone for an entire week. I went into the imperial beach location and ashley helped with all my issues and solved my problems in less than 10 minutes. She's professional and is great at her job. They were overcharging me for months for protection plans that I never asked for. So I went in last month to get things cleared up and I wasn't even upset. I just wanted them to remove the protection from my plan and give me credit, the guy that helped me said that he removed the protection and that on my next bill everything should be back to normal but he couldn't give me credit and that I had to call customer service. I had work right after so I didn't have time to call customer service. I left it as is and sure enough the next month I was charged the same amount as I was with the protection plan that I never asked for. So I went in again and Andrea helped me get it off my account. When I asked her about credit she told me to call customer service as well. So I call customer service and the customer service rep told me that they could have given me credit and to go back into the store so they can give me credit. I go in and they only give me a 50$ credit when they've been charging me for a protection plan that I never asked for since April. My bill started as 82$ and then went up to 104$ until October. How does a 50$ credit make up for 6 months being overcharged more than 20$? Aaaaand they didn't even want to give me credit in the first place. They Kept telling me to call customer service, and all the sudden as soon as I go back into the store they decide to give me credit after I talked to a customer service rep who said that they could've given me credit the whole time. I went in today looking for phone advice( since mine broke recently) but the guy at the counter didn't know anything about the phones they have. I don't use an apple iPhone like the majority of people. When I asked about the other phones he made it seem like I was wasting his time and he gave me BS answers. made me buy a whole other phone because they insisted it was "internal issues" and was because the phone was "older" (2 years). the same issue of it not working happened with the new phone still. turns out after going back the next day and being there for hours nothing was wrong with the phone and it was a VPN app that was making it mess up. Made me waste money so i asked if i could get a refund and my old phone back. $50 to do so.. when there was nothing wrong with it. it took all of the employees in the store to figure out it was an app, and not the actual phone. yet the dude made me buy a new one after barely checking the first time and saying it was just the phone when it literally wasn't. it was a damn app. read more

Alondra and Rafael provided horrible customer service today. I was quoted 3 months ago that the new internet boxes we would receive all boxes at the promotional rate by the manager and customer service rep in store in front of my elderly parents. However after numerous calls and hours spent with customer service as to which they instructed me to go into the store and speak with the manger because they were unable to help me. So I went into the store today and both Alondra and Rafael said the manager and all the customer service reps for this location no longer worked for t mobile. They also acknowledged that this has been a problem of customers being misquoted prices by the previous team. However, they also said there was nothing they could do. So in a nutshell...T mobile was aware their customers were being lied to and are doing NOTHING to rectify it. I would think they could eat the money in order to keep 4 customers happy. Apparently they are not. We will be cancelling all devices with them and I will make sure everyone I work with at the hospital is aware of how T mobile conducts business. read more

Although the wait time was slightly long (approx 25-30 min) it is understandable as it was only you and one other person with many waiting. You still made sure to greet people as they came in, have a smile and work quickly. You were attentive, helpful, kind, treated me with respect, and resolved my problem fast! I'm giving this T-Mobile 4 stars because the first time i went into the store the customer service rep (long blonde hair) that helped me and my husband was horrible! We went in for a warranty exchange and was extremely rude to us, rolling her eyes, and unwilling to listen. Instead of explaining to us in a knowledgeable manner she just say that we could come back when her store manager was working. I asked when that would be and she told me the times, i told her that idk if i could make it because we both work during those times she shrugged her shoulders and said "i don't know what to tell you" The impression i got from her when trying to explain my situation was that she thought i was lying and didn't want to deal with me. Being someone who works in customer service i was highly disappointed. I was then able to get in touch with the store manager Eliana who was a great help and gave me a pleasant experience. Went in on Saturday and she explained in full detail about the warranty exchange and her concerns for the phone i was trying to turn in. I felt she genuinely was trying to help me and get me the best option i could. Her assistant manager Daniel was very helpful as well. We were able to get everything situated and a new phone shopped out. If i do return to this T-Mobile for any reason it would only be with them 2 and 1 other employee (wasn't able to catch her name) other than that i would rather go to another one. My husband and I were obviously judged by the young robot that "helped" us at this location. We went in with the intention of leaving with 2 new phones but decided to leave after it became clear that the guy we spoke to didn't think we were there to buy anything. Maybe it was our mistake for asking about the details of the buy one get one S8 deal before anything else. He only gave details that made it seem undesirable. Pretty poor sales skills... We've always gone to the Mission Valley store and have only experienced great service so we'll just continue to go there. read more

Employees were great but we drove across town to trade in our old iPhone for an iPhone 11 and when they tried to process the trade it there were multiple errors and we have to wait 24 hours to try and purchase the phone again. In 24 hours that store will be closed. Wasted a Saturday evening. read more

Honestly, I don't like to write reviews about bad things I saw in the businesses because I know mistakes can happen. However, I know from experience that customer service should be a priority in a business. The reason why I'm writing this review is because I went today to ask for help with a problem I'm having with my phone and the internet. I can promise that my attitude towards workers is always respectable but the manager of this store seemed to be facing a bad day or was tired because she wasn't willing to help me. She was only answering my questions without giving me any acceptable explanation, she was looking to other sides like pretending she got tired of me when I was there only for 5 minutes due to her unprofessional manner to treat customers. I don't want to make this longer so I will just finish with saying that I wrote this review because sometimes customers don't say nothing and workers who lack of customer service still treating old customers like nothing, until a customer says something, then more people will also raise their voice and hopefully, the company will take action to fix those issues. read more

This by far is the best T-Mobile I've been to, I work at the Plaza Bonita mall and there's 2 locations there, but the customer service I received from Lizeth is by far the best I've experience from all the T-mobiles I've been.
