It's embarrassing that customers are more informed than the staff. Instead of handling a simple upgrade, I was told it would take over an hour to complete what should be a quick, straightforward process. Trading in a phone and setting up a new one is not complicated, and the fact that it was treated like rocket science says everything about the lack of training here. I picked it up not expecting anyone to hear me, but I said "HELLO" and a man said, Hi, I'm from AT&T. I said...." you can hear me"????, he said yes, loud and clear. It's been 3 weeks to the day since my phone has worked!!! I asked him to call me back to be sure it's working and to let me see if I could dial out to another number and have that work too. Sure enough, I was able to make an outgoing call too and leave a message . AT&T called me back and again, he could hear me clearly. It seems that it was NOT directly Clear Rate's fault that my phone wasn't working, it was AT&T's equipment that Clear Rate utilizes, that was faulty. In the end, it was AT&T who was dragging their feet not fully inspecting nor fully troubleshooting my problem and kept blaming Clear Rate.

Lied to in order to sell us as much as possible in our previous visit…read more Came in for phone upgrades (two S21s to an iPhone 17 Pro and to a Galaxy S26 Ultra). We were unhappy with our current internet provider, mentioned that in the store when asked about home wifi, and went through the process reviewing whether that would be a good switch or not. Both phones would increase the bill a bit (expected), and the home wifi also was going to increase the bill (also expected) but in our printout it said only $60. After getting over the hump of the post-upgrade/service add-on bill, the 2nd bill is $150 more than what was given in the print out. Multiple calls with Verizon support, they won't budge and insist that the price I'm paying is the lowest it can go. Only thing I was able to do was remove two perks that I didn't ask for that magically appeared on my bill. Very unhappy with my experience. The "Sale First Customer Second" mentality this place has is alarming and not a good representation of Verizon. Going to hang on to the Internet for now but it's double what I was paying before for half the speed.

I figured I would probably have to go to the apple store to get it looked at but went back to the store to see if they might be able to help. James who also was there when we bought the phone did quite a bit of troubleshooting but was unable to get it working. He could have easily given up but instead he called AT&T and they walked him through some additional things and they were able to fix it. James is just amazing ! Such a nice young man and very customer service focused ! If you need a new phone, I would highly recommend that you come to this location and ask for James !
