Lied to in order to sell us as much as possible in our previous visit. Came in for phone upgrades (two S21s to an iPhone 17 Pro and to a Galaxy S26 Ultra). We were unhappy with our current internet provider, mentioned that in the store when asked about home wifi, and went through the process reviewing whether that would be a good switch or not. Both phones would increase the bill a bit (expected), and the home wifi also was going to increase the bill (also expected) but in our printout it said only $60. After getting over the hump of the post-upgrade/service add-on bill, the 2nd bill is $150 more than what was given in the print out. Multiple calls with Verizon support, they won't budge and insist that the price I'm paying is the lowest it can go. Only thing I was able to do was remove two perks that I didn't ask for that magically appeared on my bill. Very unhappy with my experience. The "Sale First Customer Second" mentality this place has is alarming and not a good representation of Verizon. Going to hang on to the Internet for now but it's double what I was paying before for half the speed. read more

I don't know if it matters or not, but this is an actual Verizon authorized retailer, not one of those random stores that are owned privately. I came in to come in to have my phone looked at for minor technical issues and had a few questions to boot. So, off I went. What I like about this store is that it's easy to check in on your phone to show that you're here and get yourself electronically in line. They have merchandise here, but only for the most current phones. If you have an older phone like me, things like phone cases are not sold any longer. They also have a pay station off in the corner if you would like to put money towards your bill or whatnot. Overall, the place isn't bad. I mean, they solved my issues and helped me rather quickly get in and out, but I had to wait like 40 minutes to do so. Staff seems to know what their doing but are very strict about the electronic check-in and helping those in that specific order. At times I feel rushed when I'm here, but other times I don't. I wish they had better explanations if the specific phone models I was looking at on the displays. I was in the Samsung section, but there were like 5 different Samsung's and I didn't know which was which, or how much they were. I mean, for as much as these guys charge for phones (other carriers too) can I get a better explanation and description while you keep me waiting? I do like having a store to walk into where I can get quick assistance instead of sitting on the phone having to punch in a bunch of numbers and wait in a phone cue, but on the same note, don't make me feel rushed and label your merch please...... read more

Extremely clean, organized, and well run store. Specifically, Jacob was very friendly, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable about the services, transfer process, and equipment. I've dealt with a lot of wireless reps over the past couple decades and this was by far my best experience. Additionally the manager was super attentive and helpful as needed for the sales staff and customers. I just observing while I was there. Nothing but top notch service and store location here. I came to this store on the advice of VZ customer support to resolve a complex trade-in situation. I went to great pains to explain this situation to Jeremy, but he never really listened or attempted to comprehend the issue. He cut me off multiple times, and when he wasn't glued to his tablet, he gazed around the room like he was bored. Unsurprisingly, Jeremy screwed up the trade-in. He refused to own his mistake, and instead blamed VZ customer support for offering bad advice before pawning me off on a co-worker. When Jeremy couldn't produce a physical receipt confirming the (botched) trade-in, he lied and told me he chose to email it instead. This was after he provided a physical receipt for the device that was traded in correctly. When I persisted in attempting to resolve the situation, he walked away mid-sentence and returned with a leaf of paper with the VZ customer support number on it. Jeremy demonstrated a frustrating lack of professionalism, to say nothing of his lack of intellectual maturity. Rather than own a mistake - we all make them! - he doubled-down, spun, contrived implausible explanations, and blamed others. It was like dealing with an eight-year-old. Thanks to Jeremy's inattentiveness, I've now spent more than four hours on the phone with Verizon with no resolution in sight. Perhaps Jeremy could slow down, take his eyes off the tablet, and listen to customers when they're speaking. The immaturity, however, is on him. read more

I do not recommend coming here. About a year ago in 2022 I came here to purchase a new phone. They were closing two hours earlier than they usually do and told me that they couldn't help me. The in may of 2023 I was having troubles with my phone. I came back here to see if they can fix it. I wasn't able to access Snapchat or anything like that because it said to connect to Wi-Fi. But I could still make phone calls not receive texts, though turns out it was just I somehow shut off my cellular data in my settings , this place did not help me with that. I had to go down the road to another Verizon store and they ended up helping me. At this Verizon store they told me that I would have to call customer service or I would have to leave my phone here for two days, so they can fix it when it was simply a button to fix it again I do not recommend coming here read more

I came here last Monday for 2 reasons. One to sell my old phone back and the other to get a new screen protector installed as my new phone's had a crack in it. I also came here because it is the closest to my house however I drove past at least 2 on my way to here from work. Knowing what I know now, I will try one of those before coming here again. The reason for the 2nd star is because I got more money from them for my old phone then I was told I would from the Verizon store I got my phone at. This was the one good thing and the last good thing about my visit. The woman who was helping me (I didn't get her name yet I can tell you she has straightish blonde hair and it was in a ponytail last Monday) was very unprofessional to me. When I asked about the new screen protector, she was like "did you register it?" When I responded that I did, she was like why don't you file a claim? To that I said that my next couple of weeks are crazy and I just need to get it solved. She was like okay but you kn now that you will not get the full amount of your old phone showing up on your next month bill. I said I don't care, I just need to get this done. She got the new protector and then was like I will be back. She took my phone to the back to replace the protector. She was gone 15 minutes and came back with the old one off and broken up and stated that we don't install these. That this is something that the owner's install themselves. To that I said fine and stated that I was going to go and verify with the store I purchased the phone at (the Troy one by Carrabba's and the Melting Pot). She was like whatever. This whole unhelpfulness is something new that ice never experienced at any cellphone store. This is over 2 different companies and at least 8 different locations. I will not be returning here and I will be passing on my horrible experience to everyone I know. Very poor experience at this store. Employees outright lie. Went in to update phones and tablets in late October 2021. Ordered phones. Paid activation fees up front. The employee I worked with said bring old tablets back once the new ones arrived. Three weeks later tablets and phones arrive with zero instructions. I drive to store to get some direction and to drop off the iPads like the sales rep told me to do. I arrived at 6:45 pm. They close at 7:00 pm. Upon walking in employee asked me what I needed and reminded me they were closing. I asked about sending back iPads. She said they don't do that and had no idea who helped me at the same store three weeks ago. Now today, a week after devices arrived, we get a huge huge Verizon bill. It includes activation fees they've already charged me for in person at the store. I have to spend almost two hours with Verizon support to figure out why the bill is more than double what they said it would be and why they've charged me for activation fees a second time. I get the second set of activation fees refunded. They are sending me email mailing labels for the iPads. But my invoice is still almost three times what they said it would be. This store is not truthful with regards to what your bill will be. Even after almost two hours on the phone the bill will still be $40 more than what they said it would be. I feel they took advantage of me and I would caution anyone going to this store that they will manipulate the numbers to get you to sign up then the numbers they promise are NOT what you will be paying. And employees literally denied the person who helped me even worked there. They would not verify a receipt or anything. Avoid this location. read more

My wife and I ordered a new LG Verizon flip phone. It came in the mail 2_days ago, we put in all our contacts, read the instructions and were prepared to love this phone as well as the LAST one we owned. To our dismay , we were unable to receive photos or send them, but were able to receive texts. The staff at Rochester and tienken were condescending and unable to help. We went to the Verizon branch at Walton and squirrel rd. They greeted us enthusiastically, but when they found out it was a flip phone, they stated ,no, you can't get or send photos on it ,and took other patrons questions while talking to us, talking to each other and over our heads. They suggested going to be different branch for TECH SUPPORT. We DID finally go to the Verizon at auburn and Rochester road. What a difference. The manager ,and a female staffer worked with us for 15 minutes, got all the kinks out, gave us their undivided attention, instructed us on a few pointers and sent us on our way. We tried doing the tech support over the phone to no avail. The staff at this location gave us 200% of their effort and expertise. Thank you, we will do any further business here!! i went in today 08/04/2017 they sold me a phone and activated it. The woman helping me did not know how to sync my contacts and photos and told me to call apple. Be aware of the "Hard Close" being put on customers at this location by Sam Farraj: "Solutions Mgr"....he is dishonest and not truthful. Verizon apparently has partnered with "Hum" an on board system that duplicates systems already in newer cars...which I pointed out to the sales person: Jelfer....and declined the Hum offering. In comes "Sam" and tells me that my car insurance will go down with Hum...and discounts are offered through HUM usage at "..virtually all the restaurants you go to" " Hum notes your location then lets you know the discount" Again: I declined....he persisted and told me that "there is no additional cost"..you changed plans and it was reduced so that there would be no additional charge for HUM...and if you don't want it, your wife can use it.....(in AZ) it can be programmed there. I was tired of dealing with it ....and said O K. I walked out with the HUM in the box...in the Verizon bag. When I got home I googled HUM and found out that everything I was told was not truthful....There is an activation charge and a monthly fee. In addition there is NO discount using this system with my insurance provider since I already have "tracking" system. My wife too, said she didn't want or need it..it was a duplication of her system also. I returned to Verizon...HUM box unopened...in the same Verizon bag and was charged $35 for a "Restocking Fee"......I was never told ANYTHING about the return policy..OR this "FEE". I was in sales and sales management for more than 45 years and it is unfortunate that people like Sam Farraj are put in positions where the customer comes in a distant 2nd to their commission incentive over respecting the people who's business provides them with the job they are lucky to have. I suspect Sam Farraj will just move on....after his dishonest practices catch up with him. Me...I am still not happy and will make my next move to a person who can do something about Sam Farrag and his unethical practices so no one else is taken advantage by him. read more

If I could, I would completely decline from giving a rating. My wife and I recently were due for a an update on our phones. We went into the store and met with sales associate Dustin. Dustin pointed us in the direction of the android phones and spoke bad of apple the whole time.. We both had apple phone for several years prior and knew we wanted something as good or better.
