I've been a Verizon Wireless customer for over 20 years for one simple reason: their coverage map…read more I know there can be cheaper choices, and the specific phone and features that was my first choice today was not in stock. Despite this, I was treated efficiently and forthrightly and certainly have no plans to switch.

She came to wait on me and said I could have had anyone in the store help me. I told her I had been waiting for more than 30 minutes and she then developed an attitude with me and said she was not going to help me because I was disrespectful to her and her family emergency. She said to me that I would have to drive out to Ellicott City store to make the return. I'm a 75 year old handicapped women. I told her that my time was just as valuable as hers and felt I should not have to repay the restocking fee. She just walked away and avoided me. I followed her and told her I was not driving out to EC and just wanted to make the return. Another employee begrudgingly made the return. If this women is any indication of Verizon management, Verizon is in big trouble. My advice is don't patronize this location at 6220 Baltimore National Pike in Catonsville. I was treated very poorly.

I shopped at this location for years, and it used to be fine, but went downhill in last six months…read more In my most recent experience, the staff pressured me to spend more money for a "better" phone, which I did. when it wasn't working, I brought it in, and left it there a few days, and they said it was fixed. I took it home, it didn't work properly. Brought it back, and they said it must just have a bad battery and they switched the battery and told me to charge it and try it again. When it still didn't work, I returned to the store, and they said - oops, your time is up, no longer under warranty. And this was for the more expensive phone. They wanted me to buy a new phone by them again - no discount or anything for the crap they sold me. And although the worker in the store admitted that I had come back multiple times and they kept sending me home with a supposedly fixed phone, the owner insisted it was my fault for waiting until the warranty expired (which I had not). I had other small incidents prior to this, but I just lost all that money on a new phone that never worked properly. Now I have to buy a new phone - you can be sure it won't be there. Their customer service is lousy, their workers literally were googling how to fix my phone in front of me, and then the owner saw and said I should leave the phone for a few days and it will get fixed. Ha. If you want a working phone and a store that cares about you as a customer, do not shop here.

I kept the receipt which detailed I should be entitled to a full refund. The store clerk who assisted me at that time said I would not be able to get a refund since they can't resell earbuds. That is not my problem since they sold me a bad product in the first place. They said they would contact management about this but he was out the office for an extended lunch so I would need to wait hours before getting a reply. I left a 2-star review on Google expressing my disappointment. I returned the day after and was given half of what I spent on the earbuds as store credit. I accepted this but was still unsatisfied since according to the info printed on the receipt and on their corporate's website, I should have been entitled the full cash refund. Today, I returned looking to purchase a charger. I never had a problem with a charger I purchased from them before, so this was something I trusted them on. The problem is that the same store clerk from before was manning the counter again today and they refused me service until I took down my previous 2-star review.

I had Boostmobile and an S8. I wanted to switch to another provider and upgrade my phone. This was…read morea two day process because they did not have the S20 FE in stock. So this review explores both experiences. Day 1: The Introduction of Tmobile service plans, learning how the phone trade ins work, phone payments coverage over the 24 months, credit check, etc. Things to Note: * Switching service providers and phones is like purchasing a car. The process was hella complex and long. * Come with time on your hands. * I went from paying $50/month with boost to $91/month with Tmobile. If I didnt get an upgraded phone, my service bill would be $70/month (auto pay). I think the $20 increase in service cost was worth it. Pros: * I worked with a young lady named Lauren. She was A+ with me. She was very knowledgeable about the Tmobile process, products, and services. I asked a million questions and she patiently answered them even if that meant providing clarity on what she just said. If she didnt guide me though the process, I would have quit. That's a promise. * At one point, Lauren quoted me a total cost that was way past what I wanted to pay. She was not deterred. She made a recommendation that worked out to lower my monthly cost by $12/month. I appreciate that. * Since they didnt have the S20 in stock, they put the Tmobile sim card in my S8 (and removed the Boostmobile sim). That evening, I experienced a major difference in service. My group texts worked, I was able to be on a call and surf the internet at the same time, etc. I know...things that should be simple. Cons: * It was a long process. There are so many "if this than thats." You have to listen to every word spoken because if you miss something you will miss the fine print. Day 2: My phone was delivered to me in two days as promised. Although the phone was not activated, I was able to transfer my contacts, calendars, text messages, etc. using Samsung Switch. That was empowering. After I set up the new phone, I took it to Tmobile for activation. It took less than 3 minutes for the representative to switch things over. Swift and to the point. Overall, I am delighted with my switch to Tmobile. My phone experience to 100 times better.
