Let's start with Alireza who came by to measure, listen and design according to what I wanted. He was flexible and open to changes which I requested to the original plan. They offered very competitive pricing and a reasonable time frame for the start of the project and completion - both of which were as promised. Alireza came by frequently to check on the work being done and I was reassured by his precision and attention to details. Then we have Leo who made the choice of every single element manageable. My brain gets overwhelmed with thousands of choices when planning a renovation so I very much appreciated Leo's quick understanding of my style aesthetic and his ability to help me put together cohesive and harmonious colors and looks. By the way, the customer is responsible for purchasing the faucets, shower heads, towel bars, and toilet paper holder. Two teams of workers did everything. Team One was made up of Jesus and Byron who took the project from demolition to completion. Team Two was made up of Celestino and Angel - the tile and grout guys. Both teams were extraordinarily hard working, conscientious and professional. Because of my condo's cut off time for contractors they had to leave at 4:30 or they would have gone on working. They cleaned up after themselves each and every day and did not leave the work area in chaos. I have no complaints; only delight in my new bathroom. I wanted to replace the Jacuzzi which I never used with a stall shower and replace the original, small corner shower with a more usable corner unit.

An explanation of why I was ignored for so long was not provided , but certainly heard enough of bragging about how those million dollar homeowners love them. One can only wonder what's the hidden message there. Below is my whole project experience. I hired this company because it was recommended to me by someone who had good experience with them. However I was extremely disappointed on the irresponsible actions from the contract workers after the remaining of the work trailed for more than a year. To be fair, the initial part of experience was what you can expect with any standard professional company, the crew was polite and clean after themselves. After sometime, things began to get worse. The corner counter top was cut completely off center, after repeatedly contact and request for correction, a correction was promised , however nothing happened after almost a year after numerous back and force via email, phone calls, etc . Instead of take initiative and fixing the issue, I was given a phone number, and was told to call the counter top company MYSELF and make appointments MYSELF. After many calls with a lady who clearly has communication issues and barely understand what I was saying, a guy from the counter top company came alone , with a pencil and piece of paper board. He had no idea what was the job is for, and cut the board in wrong angle again. I caught the mistake before he left my home and basically hand held him to draw correct lines on the board. I did his work, and he left, and was never heard again. Of course, after this November 2017 incidence, everything fell completely silent again. I was never contacted to have a follow up again, or even a check in "hey, have you got your new counter top yet ? " or " I have things ready for installation ". NOTHING. From November 2017 to JUNE 2018. Ironically, all the way till I left my initial YELP review. During the summer project period, the contract worker left without making the microwave function , one light switch was installed upside down, one was not installed, thought still got charged . It was stated in the contract that the paint was a certain model, however, worker showed up with a much lower grade and claimed it was the right one. Also the contractor left was two jars of the paint which should belong to me. And painted one wall with the wrong color. AFTER ONE YEAR OF THE PROJECT I'M STILL EXPECTING WORK TO BE COMPLETED --- Update - I have to pay another company to come in , and fix all the mistakes. Also the workers parked in the wrong spot while clearly been told not to. and caused $400 towing fee and still have not paid back to me.

A General contractor came over to help me, and he also couldn't get it to start and function properly following the instructions and after some online searching. I called ABW for help, and they told me that they do not tell you how to use the products they sell. ABW told me that I had to go through Miele to learn how to get this machine to work. Miele has a two week waitlist for In person help. I've never bought a product from a company that will not tell you how to use it before. And I will not again.

The class is a fun opportunity to learn, bond with friends and meet new people (especially if you're teamed up with them - you're put into in groups of 4). You get a 10% in-store discount if you shop the day of your class. I appreciated that Chef Jess gave us a brief store tour; I ended up buying a couple of her recommendations. Can't wait for my next class! All the Sur La Table staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The store is well organized and the available samples are always a fun perk.

I was referred to this place by the son of a friend who had assistance from Daniel when he did a complete kitchen remodel. Unfortunately Daniel ran away from me as I entered the showroom (I knew who he was based on his photo on their website.) I wanted a place that wasn't as precious as some of the Bethesda showrooms are, but this place isn't it. Just go online instead of bothering to drive out to Rockville. You'll get much more information that way, that's for sure. Makes you wonder how they stay in business.

Really nice selection of tile with quite low-pressure sales staff. The staff prefer if you make an…read moreappointment, but if they are free they are happy to help so long as you understand the people with appointments will get their attention first. They were happy to let me take "loaner tiles" so that I could see them in the setting I was going to have them installed and match up cabinets and fabrics etc., for the final design. We wound up redoing our kitchen, master bathroom and dressing room with their product and I have to say that the whole experience was seamless. We had had an unexpected glitch in the design plan that wasn't evident until we started demo and realized that one of the tiles we picked for the bathroom would not work. We anticipated this being a real problem as we had already ordered all the tile. However, we spoke with the staff at Mosaic and they stated they could switch out the tile with "no problems" (as it turned out, we switched to a cheaper tile, but they never made a big deal out of this either). Caveat alert: they did tell us that the only reason they could do this was because all of the tile we had picked was "in stock", not special order, so it would be unreasonable to expect that they could do this in every instance. Our contractor actually picked up the tile, but I was impressed that all the tile was in good condition. We've done large projects before and have always had a bunch of broken/chipped tile that we then have to argue about getting returned, but this was one of the best tile experiences we have had. They are not the cheapest, but they were actually a lot cheaper than at another store we initially made our selection from. Our contractor suggested we check this place out because he was appalled at the price of the other tile we picked and promised us we would find something we liked just as much at Mosaic - he was right!

They have a deep and talented team that was incredibly knowledgeable and responsive to all of our questions no matter how small or complex. Even from the very beginning, before we had finalized a design or signed a contract, Luis and his team's responsiveness and professionalism always made us feel as though we were a valued client. That continued throughout the entire process as we worked with them to develop a design that fit within our budget. Fabio was assigned as our project manager and we couldn't be more thankful for him! He was on top of every last detail and when we had two unforeseen issues come up during demolition, he was quick to provide us a thorough assessment of the issue, several options, and his professional recommendation. I was pretty satisfied with my overall experience with Granite Works. We went to their showroom…read moreand selected two granite remnants for our master bathroom and guest bathroom counter tops. Choosing remnants saved us some money. We choose the granite, then selected what type of sink we wanted (we chose rectangle) and if we needed a back splash. We wanted to replace three sink faucets with new Moen ones. Their plumber can install the faucets for $100 each. So, we decided to do that. After paying for everything, we walked over and made two appointments - one for them to measure and the other to install. Total time it took from the day we purchased it was two weeks. On the day of installation, the installers came during their time slot, and it was done in about one hour. The plumber came after the installers were done. Now, they should of told us to buy new water lines as their plumber doesn't have any. So, we had to drive to Home Depot while the plumber was installing the new faucets. I will choose them again when we decide to replace our kitchen counter tops.
