Went in there to switch over service from another carrier, was originally helped by Bryce and Sergio who assured us we were getting a good deal. Transaction went smoothly until we got our first bill that was considerably higher than discussed. When we called we were told there were FOUR additional lines added to our account for two trackers and two tablets. Not once did we discuss adding these devices. When I went in to explain what had happened they all smirked and said "oh typical Bryce". Sergio then stated they can't cancel lines from their end and we'd have to call customer support. Since they are a third party I called the corporate location in Chico and they advised that they are known for doing these things. These bunch of guys are scammers and thieves. Although I was angry when I walked in the store, the customer service "professional," Brandon, who greeted me, did nothing to try to listen or calm me down. He continually interrupted me. When I asked him to stop interrupting me, I was told that I have attitude. He passed me off to another customer service professional and went in the back room after I advocated for myself and suggested we start over. Only 4 months after being a new customer I canceled my account. I was sent in to this location from the 800 number to have my SIM card replaced. The manager and the sales associate could not figure out after installing two SIM cards why my phone wouldn't work. I was informed to go to Best Buy and have the geek squad look at my phone that it was broken. Mind you I went in with it working. The Best Buy geek squad told me to go back to them that it wasn't the phone it was the SIM card. So back to the store I went where I was met by a very nice associate who put a new Sim card in and my phone worked. All of this back-and-forth while it was 102° outside. read more

I'd give this store a negative rating if I could. I'm having a terrible time switching from ATT to T-Mobile. The guys in the store at the mall were not helpful, They were dismissive and didn't explain anything. When I had an issue with setting up my account, they refused to call customer service and just told me that I wasn't eligible for a phone. I had to do figure out how to get my transfer pin from ATT myself, they were zero help. "You need a transfer pin and the account number - call ATT". My husband switched to Verizon and the gentleman who help us was amazing. He walked my husband through the entire process, which included a new phone. I'm over 60 but I'm pretty good with most techie things, but I don't know a lot about phones and needed help. T-Mobile was terrible. I've been without a phone for 2 days - can't work. read more

Went in to trade in an iphone 4gs. I rarely call or text or e-mail but need it sometimes. My brother suggested Tmobile. They took my iphone and it paid for the new phone and first month of service. 2 weeks later I realized the internet was off. 3 weeks later I realized they had not put credit for iphone on bill. 4 weeks later and bill is a mess and I am wishing I never met T-mobile. Called the store where the manager handled my sale. He won't call me back. Trying for answer I call customer service. The manager has me on hold waiting for me to hang up. So the call disconnects at 9pm when his call center closed. The following day a rep tells me she can fix the account it was entered wrong she puts me on hold and I end up in buyers remorse phone line. Being told Ive lost my iphone have to return the new phone & owe them a restocking fee. The nightmare won't end. read more

It is really sad that we have been a customer for many many years and always bought our phones at this location and when my wife breaks hers and they won't honor the insurance we pay and give us another phone. They send us to the t-mobile call in center where we are on hold for ten minutes then hung up on. So I guess we will go home and do it online and be workout s phone for a couple days. After the most horrific experience with Sprint over the past decade, I decided to change carriers. My good friend Gabe Lopez in Portland, oregon (who works for T-Mobile) convinced me to switch. My encounter at the Chico Mall T-Mobile was absolutely amazing. The staff were all extremely helpful, friendly, and funny. I felt instant relief knowing that a cell phone company actually cared about the customer's experience. Anthony helped me, though it seemed he was supposed to be off the clock toward the beginning of our session. He stayed and explained every single aspect of the service and phones in a very professional and articulate manner. He persevered all of my dozens of questions - never losing his cheerful demeanor. I walked out spending more money than I had anticipated, however the service simply made me want to. I want to shout out to Javier as well, although he was in and out of helping other customers he made a big effort to make my experience inside the store a great one. Just wanted to give props... I have been a T-Mobile customer for quite some time now and have always gone to the store on the Mangrove location. I went to this one because it was open later, but beware they will try to scam you at this location! I had seen a deal online about trading a phone in, adding a line, and getting a new phone as a result. So I went to inquire about it and quickly the manager, Cris, took over and told me I had to change my whole family plan because it was a grandfathered plan in order to take advantage of the deal. I was pretty bummed because I have a good plan and he was trying to sell me on the merits of the new plan that has unlimited data, etc and the only way I will get 5g when it comes out. The thing is it was going to cost me $100-120 more per month!! He kept pressuring me and then trying to add in one time incentives to help with the cost. It started out as $30, then as I told him I needed to think about it, he upped it to $40 then $50, when put off alarm bells in my head, why was he trying to give me money to take this deal? Also, he said if I left the deal would no longer be available. I didn't appreciate the pressure he put on me to meet whatever quota. Also, I wasn't about spend $100 per month just to save $400 on a phone. I left and the next day I went to the store on Mangrove, and they got me the deal without any problems or hassle or having to change my plan. This T-Mobile has outstanding customer service the associate manager cris went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied with my switch from my previous carrier. He was very knowledgeable on the plans and what would fit the budget I needed. All staff including the manager was very nice offered water and a chair while waiting! Even the door greeters were very nice and always had a smile ! I would definitely recommend this place to other people !! read more

Dear T-Moble As I posted on your Instagram and FaceBook pages where do I begin. I signed up with your service last yr in June of 2013 and ever since then myself and my boyfriend have had nothing but problems with your company. During the first week I was seeing that I couldn't get anything other then E for my service outside of the WIFI from my home! I called and asked why this was happening and the man told me towers would be going up to help the situation within the next month so my boyfriend and I decided to wait. And still nothing. So I called again and again they told me that towers were coming our way soon. So we waited. I decided to call again with my boyfriend phone had no service for a whole day. That was after turning it off and on several times. I finally got a man I am very grateful for because he didn't lie to me like the others did. He told me that indeed NO TOWERS were coming to my area within the next yr if ANY in the near future! So I asked to speak with a supervisor to see if I could get my bill lowered some. As of now I pay $150 for service I do not receive!!!!!! My phone is always dropping calls and showing no service! I never get to use my internet unless I am near someone's wifi or a major city. This is unexceptionable! The worst part about your service and what hurts the most is that my father passed away and I could get calls and I couldn't call out! When I would call my mom so she could tell me her grief the calls would always drop! No one would help me! Your company still won't help me! Giving me a slight discount on one bill is not ok! I pay a lot of money for nothing! Your company is always running me around in circles and it's not right. I've tried to be understanding but it's just wrong! Your company is not providing me with the service I was promised! I can't even do what the phone was made for... Call people! I hope your company can look over this and finally help me. Please feel free to listen to all the calls I made to your call center. And see how I was lied to repeatedly and never really helped. Please please help me out now. I would like to add one more thing. I was speaking with a T-Moble representative today on Facebook and they proceeded to tell me that I could no longer comment on other peoples posts and that if I were to continue they would BAN me from their page... I have never been treated so rudely and with such lack of respect. By the female manager here, that works weekends. My mother and I went in to try to solve an issue we had with the Promo buy and S7 edge and get one free. When a strange number came on the bill my mom asked what they number was. The guy behind the counter said he didn't know and we got that number deleted. Weeks later when the "gift card" for the S7 never came in. (which would supposed to be used to pay the phone) tmobile said we weren't eligible for the promo because the phone number had been deleted. Talking the female manager she was short, rude and snippy toward my mother. Bring up that my mom signed the contract she was responsible for the knowledge. I would love to know just how many people sit and read the contract in its entirety before signing. But be that as it may. The fact the promo needed its own phone number to be eligible should have been vocally communicated as well. In the end we not only paid for the S7 edge and the S7 that should have been free. I will never go to the tmobile in the mall. As soon as I'm done with the contract, I will look for another service. and will let anyone I know, know just how bad we were treated. read more

Do not go here! I just finished filing a collections dispute and fraud! I received a collection letter because the people at tmoble decided to open an account under my name with out my authorization! I went in to inquire about an account. I only wanted to ask how much it would cost me to open an account and they were super pushy about checking my credit score so I finally accepted to have my credit score ran. They continued to be pushy about me opening an account. I repeatedly told them no. Everytime I said no they grew even more irratated and more pushy. I finally just left the store. I left with no cell phone, no open account (at least none that I was aware of). Oh by the way it wasn't just the sales rep, it was also the manager. They were both very unprofessional. I can't remember their names all I remember was the Hispanic female manager (heavy set and tall girl) and the sales rep (a thin tall Hispanic male). Save yourself the hassle of being put through all of this. Don't go to the tmobile in the Chico mall. I hope it isn't like this everwhere. read more

The women ran my credit so she could tell me how much the deposit would be, I told her I wouldn't be getting a phone with them that day and left. Not even a week later I get a $150 bill from t mobile so I went back in there with the bill and they told me that they couldn't help me and that I would have to call t mobile to figure out why I am being charged when I walked out of the store with nothing. This store employs dishonest individuals. They are scammers. Anyway, I was sold a broken tablet as a promo, being promised my bill would go down by ten dollars. Instead my bill went up. So I bought the tablet outright, cancelled my service and went with Verizon. T-Mobile was willing to lose me over $154, and the criminal activity of one of their employees. Melina and Tatiana went above and beyond to activate and update a phone my granddaughter had purchased at another store. They worked for an hour contacting another provider to transfer all the contacts from an android phone to the i phone. They were patient, courteous, professional and explained everything they were doing.They didn't charge us at all and my granddaughter is ecstatic about her new phone. I have never owned a cell phone but if I decide to upgrade my "old school" lifestyle I will definitely talk to these two young women first. read more
