This location is a little farther out for me, but I like to go here. Why? Because unlike the other locations in Chico, there is rarely a line when I come in to do an Amazon return or something else. And if there is a line, it goes very fast. I walk in and walk right out. And if I need to get a receipt, they promptly provide me with one. Quick service with a smile. Who doesn't like that? Have yet to have any problems with this location, and I've come here countless times already. read more

Employees radiate that they hate their jobs. I recommend a different store for great customer service. They go out of their way to be rude and completely ignore your existence. read more

Today is October 8th and at about 11:30 I visited Staples to do an Amazon return. As I came to the door I noticed a dark-haired kid at the desk and asked him where the returns are he pointed around the corner to a long line I said oh boy. Then after I did my return and was on my way out the door he felt the need to make a disrespectful snide remark about me as I'm walking out the door. read more

I needed to notarize a document. I called prior to determine the time a notary would be available. When I arrived, the folks at the counter were friendly and courteous. Greeting me and letting me know they would be right with me. The process was simple and straightforward. The cost was less than I thought it might be. I will happily use them again when in need of a notary. read more

Super slow towards the afternoon. Employees are nice and helpful, although never in a rush to speed things up. There often will be only 1 employee working the register even though there is a line out the door. Go Early before 2pm read more

It's nice to have this service but they are terribly understaffed, most of the time. The young man who is usually at the counter is snarky and rude. We only go to this location if we have to. read more

Horrible customer service! They made a mistake & didn't even apologize. I think all the employees that work there hate their jobs.

I have been to other UPS stores in Chico and will never go back due to rude and angry workers! WHAT A RELIEF to find this UPS store on Notre Dame in Chico! Like Night & day difference!!! Friendly, courteous, professional and reliable in every regard -- you have a customer for life! Thank you!!! read more

I usually always take my Amazon returns here and never have an issue. I just bring my item in and they take care of the rest, with or without a box. Today the manager tried to charge me $15 because she said I needed a box for my return. New policy I guess??? Not to mention the lack of customer service. So I guess we need boxes to return stuff now. Even though Amazon says a box isn't required in their return instructions. Smh read more

Kayla deserves 10 Stars!! I literally drive across town to have her notary. She's fast & very professional every time. I also ship any packages out of this UPS store for the same reason. Thank you for the Excellent service Kayla! read more

Today I left the Mangrove store because one of the employees was really rude about me not knowing how to label my return to Amazon properly. I went across town and went to the Notre Dame store and a gentlemen his early 20's with a dark complexion (he looked as if there was a possibility he was from African descent) helped me. He was so kind, professional and helpful. It was an entirely different experience. It helped turn around my day. I am five months pregnant and find myself a little more emotional now than I have been in the past so his kindness went a long way for me today. This is not the only time I have gone to this location and had a good experience. If you live in chico it's worth going the extra distance to the south side of chico to get the better experience. read more

Please UPS ON NOTRE DAME please Wash the windows of your front doors. They are totally disgusting. I can't even begin to tell you how gross they are. A little Windex and some paper towels should do the trick. That's your first impression and it sucks. read more

By all means, do whatever you can to avoid this particular UPS store. It's a nightmare trying to return something from Amazon even when you follow all of the instructions perfectly. Not going to blame any specific employees as they were only doing their jobs,, but the store as whole is unprofessional and lacks customer service. Of course, they did offer to repackage it for me, even though it was in its original packaging, but I wasn't about to pay any added fees for a "free" return. and just so you know, in case you have an additional , empty packing box with you they will happily slap a piece of tape on it for two bucks. read more

Kayla. You were a rockstar on 12/18/21. Line out the door, managing both registers and still being very polite and efficient. Knowledgeable with your products and your work. Even though you were whipping through the line you gave every customer the sense of comfort knowing our packages would be delivered to loved ones properly. Keep up the great work. If any customer wrote a negative review about you or that day. They're a nasty Karen and I hope their package gets lost. Have a lovely holiday. Thank you again for your wonderful experience during busy times. read more

Wow, wife went in to get item notarized and treated so horrible she left in tears. She walked over to Tuesday Mornings and a woman came up to her and said she witnessed the whole thing. Said it happened to her as well about a month ago. Literally rudest encounter ever! Look at their reviews her and Google. Got a response with a lengthy explanation of what a notary's role is. That was never in dispute. What was not addressed was the extreme end rudeness and unprofessional behavior. And again it's a common theme and noticeable by other people. read more

I paid $63 for 2nd day delivery and signature required, the package arrived after 5 days and was just left in a common area without attaining a signature. I called for a refund and Kayla gave me the run around saying she'd have to check on it and call me back but there has been no attempt at communicating read more

I honestly don't understand the point of rating places like UPS stores, and yet here I am! I came in just for an Amazon drop-off. Jay was just so friendly and pleasant though! The interaction with him was so enjoyable, that I just had to write a quick review and say how awesome my experience was for that quick moment. He was even super patient when I had to come back in after I slightly messed up the return. I know how quick people are to write negative reviews with one bad experience, so I am just trying to flip that and make sure I write really positive reviews when I have a phenomenal experience. That is all. read more

Came in with a handful of returns. I hadn't followed close attention to the return instructions and hadn't selected the correct way to return my shoes to Amazon - chose print and package myself instead of no label and use a QR code. The associate was incredibly patient and kind. I'm sure their days can be long and tedious. I appreciated the mellow, helpful attitude. I can begin feeling anxious when I feel like I'm holding up the line or unprepared. Thank you. read more

This is my Go To UPS Store for everything. They are always friendly, efficient, and cheaper than my old Paradise location. My last visit was a Saturday and the Employee MATTHEW was working alone. Despite the many Customers, he kept his cool, multi-tasking, and was still friendly! He deserves a raise, because he handled the crowd like a Pro. read more

The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and efficient! Whenever I walk in I receive a very friendly greeting and I have notice when people leave, myself included, the staff always tells us to have a great day. There is always a notary in the store. They have a computer that is available to all customers so that they can check shipping. A previous review said that you never feel rushed, I agree with this, the place at times will get busy but none of the customers are ever rushed and time is always taken to make sure you receive great service. On another note, when Subway next door is baking their bread UPS smells so amazing and homey! read more

Deliveries to my house were horrible from all shipping companies. We purchased a box at this store, on my way home anyway, and our deliveries have been almost flawless now. It stinks we have to pay for it but that's definitely not this stores fault. The manager recognizes me and grabs my items when I come in. If there is a problem they always help me out and track them down. So very good experience for me because of a good management team and good employees. read more

They do not return calls or stand by their services. I paid for Express shipping, expecting 2 day delivery. It took 7 days for my package to be delivered. Because of that the item I was trying to replace could not be returned. I have called this store, where I shipped the package from, 4 times. Every time they tell me the manager will call me back, but they never do. Don't waste your time or money here. read more

According to their website they are open 9 to 5 Saturdays, so I drove 20 miles to ship a package only to find that not true. Very disappointing. read more

I have paid hundreds of dollars to rent a secure mail box at this store. For years I pick up my mail there and always politely call Matt and Katy by their names. They have never acted as if they know me at all. They are rude and more importantly, the store charges way too much for everything. I asked to have my mail forwarded to another address and they want to charge me $5 each time I have mail. Outrageous! I do NOT recommend this store. read more

Worst service ever. We needed a fax for a court filing and came here. Not only did their fax not work but the manager said she had to go to another store to get ink. We waited over an hour and she never returned. Worst customer service ever. When she finally showed up there was no response. She didn't care. THIS IS KINDA LONG BUT INFORMATIVE!! I used this bisiness due to it's great location as I was on my lunch 1/2 hour and needed to ship two items for my daughter. My daughter advised me that she usually goes to the post office but if I didn't have the time, as it was farther away from where our houses are I could try this place as she used it before and had hit and miss success when it came to help there. She gave me the money to ship the items and told me that I should pick the cheapest shipping there was with a tracking number. When i first entered the business and noticed that at 2 PM on a weekday there was only one visible person helping people and there was approximately 5 people before me. My heart sank as I needed to get back to work but these items also had to get shipped. So I decided that it wasn't the employee's fault he was short handed and he was very pleasant despite being inundated with customers. After a short time a lady came out of the back and looked at all the customers and the look on her face was not good. She started to assist customers and was very short and gave quick answers that more than one customer had to ask her for clarification. Then it was my turn... I don't ship items regularly and didn't know my options. I assumed that is why they were the experts, so they could assist me in getting the items shipped the most economical, efficient way. I even advised the items could be squished or folded anything that made it easy and cost efficient. Next thing I know I was quoted a price that was almost double what my daughter told me she pays at the post office AND when I was given my total it was over $6 more than I was told it would be. When I started to ask a question and express my concern about the cost the lady (who honestly looked like the manager) actually told me I could take it somewhere else, not in the helpful, 'you can try to save money', but more like, 'you have no choice as you are running late and you're gonna pay it', way But again I don't know about shipping and I was more concerned that the items got shipped and I got back to work. I paid it with my own money and just got back to work. This whole encounter left me feeling lousy. After all, I think a lot of these stores are more "mom and pop" stores and I didn't want to write a bad review on something like this that could hurt a business. But the more I thought about it, I realized this is so they know how someone, who I believe was a manager, (but didn't even look to see if she had a nametag), acted, and how their customers are treated when they come to them, "the experts" for help. I do not feel like it's a good place to go to feel like you are being economical or getting a good deal. I did ask if they had any flat rate shipping and she did answer that it goes by distance dimensions etc., which I can respect is set by UPS not the store. My daughter who has a business that does A LOT of shipping could have used them as her place to ship if there was more value for her dollar. This experience left a bad taste in my mouth and I will NEVER go there again. ****remember the $6 difference? That lady who helped me find the most economical shipping, charged me for two boxes, SHE DID NOT ASK, OR TELL ME, JUST CHARGED ME FOR THEM**** THE ONLY REASON I KNOW IS THE RECEIPT SHOWS TWO BOXES FOR $3 EACH. HOW IS THAT OK??? THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE IN ANY BUSINESS, I should have asked at the time but I didn't feel she wanted anything other than to have the customers leave so she could go back to whatever kept her in the first place. I will NEVER FREQUENT THIS BUSINESS NO MATTER HOW CONVIENT. What a shame read more

Worst parcel delivery company in the world no customer service or care for the packages they deliver literally throw them in puddles.

Every single time I go to this UPS store the woman who works there is just plain rude. Best Place for P.O. Box Rental! First and foremost this place is in a safe location and even when they are closed, you can get in to get your mail. Lots of lights, cameras, good neighborhood. Expensive? Strict on purchase policy? I guess...? The greeting cards could stand to be replenished...? But the service? Hands down awesome. Every time, awesome. I feel genuinely important to the ladies running the place. They have taken the most amazing care of my needs throughout my moves and commuting. It's unfair to expect immediate 1 on 1 customer service when you walk in to a place with one employee who is already helping someone else. I personally feel the cost (which is alot for me) is well above worth all of the benefits. It was a new process for me and a few important things to learn at first. But Bea who works there is invaluable, she is so peasant and helpful. They are always pleasant. I don't know how things will be in the future, but for this past year I've been renting they have been awesome read more

I rent a mailbox from this location. I recently had all of my mail transferred to this mailbox. The address of the location is: 2485 Notre Dame Blvd Ste 370. Therefore, you need to use that address along with PMB ###. This requires 36 characters for your address line. Many companies only allow 30 characters on the address line and drop the rest of the letters after 30. Recently I received a letter in my mailbox from management indicating that if letters aren't addressed properly they will send them back. How does someone tell Aetna, Morgan Stanley, government agencies that they need to change the way they address their packages. They refuse to refund my set up fee and the employee refused to give me the manager's name. If anyone has changed addresses recently, you know how difficult it is to change all of your addresses. Very disappointed with this place and very disappointed at the way things were and are handled. I recommend you stay away from this place as a mailbox rental. read more

I love shipping my items from this store. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. I also love the fact that they have a mailbox in their store to put your envelopes into for the USPS when you have importance papers you don't want to put out in your street mailbox. I went to the UPS store to return something I had purchased from Amazon. I was helped by a professional woman named Deija. She walked me through the process of what I had to do to return the item. I gave her a five star rating and also your business for employing a professional woman who knows what she is doing. She was polite and courteous at all times What a gem you have in her. I rarely give reviews but felt Deija was someone special. She made me a very happy customer, Barbara C. read more

Today my son needed to have closing escrow docs notarized. The woman clearly did not want to be bothered from the moment we walked in. She began looking through the paperwork and telling him that he would need to go out and sign any signatures first that were not to be notarized. I have had many things notarized through the years and never been treated this way. Time is of the essence in these transactions and she was completely unhelpful, even telling him he would need to make an appointment and come back later. For what? Everywhere that needed to be notarized was clearly highlighted. There was no problem but she insisted that there was. At this point I called somewhere else in Chico and they assured me that they would take the time to get it done and they were extremely helpful and above all, they were kind. Common courtesy is something this employee is lacking. Came here and they did it with no problems and no issues whatsoever. Apparently the UPS employee was too lazy and doesn't care about the reputation of the business she works at. I can't speak for the other employee there but in the past our experiences have been overall good here. They might want to reevaluate the staff here at this location and make sure that customers are being treated with respect. Just lost this customer over the way she treated us. I'm sure there are others that will similarly be put off by the snarky attitude and lack of willingness to do the job. Shame on this employee. Her laziness could have caused us a big problem but she didn't care. Do better! read more

I have never written a review on yelp before, but the young man Matthew whom I spoke with on the phone and then encountered in person at this UPS location deserves to be commended.
