Went to this (franchise)store to change carrier plus I needed a phone with more memory. Melina told us we could upgrade my phone (6+)and get $600 trade in on a new $1200 phone ( Iphone Max) sounded like a good deal so I ordered one for my wife and myself. She said $600 credit for each phone. When phones arrived we let Melina transfer everything to the new phones. After we left the store we discovered she did not back up our phones before she erased our old phones. We lost all our user id's, passwords and business info. Years of info 'gone'. Went back to store where store manager said nothing could be done and we don't get $1200 trade in on 2 phones only $600. Melina is no longer there. We said cancel the deal and give us our old 'erased' phones back. This is after paying $1200 with our credit card. They couldn't find one of the phones. Manager said to come back when district manager will be there to handle this. A couple of days later the district manager ( Paul Hernandez) showed up and offered us $900. trade in. We reluctantly agreed to that. When we got our first bill from T- mobile it showed we are being charged total phone price and no trade in credit and one of the old phones was not returned. Called the store a they said district manager (Paul Hernandez)will have to call you. 3 weeks and still waiting for that call. I called T-mobile customer service and got someone I couldn't understand. After an hour on that call, we determined that we would get $600 credit and offered $150 additional. We said 'not acceptable ' after all the deception, inconvenience and loss of data. 'We want something done about this store.'
It's no longer about the money.
Be very wary of doing business with this store. I would recommend not doing business with a a franchise store. Go to a corporate store. I think the T mobile company is o.k. but franchise stores in this area are operating with their own agenda.
Meanwhile the store manager (Richard) no longer works there. Lot's of turnover. read more
