I've been a steadfast supporter of Cellular Sales, a certified dealer for Verizon, for many years…read morenow, but my experience since September of last year compels me to share my story, in hopes that no one else has to endure what I have. My ordeal began with an upgrade to an iPhone 15 Pro Max. From that moment, my account became entangled in an unimaginable mess. Somehow, it was mishandled into a limbo state between a business and consumer account. This error led to one of the accounts being sent to collections, further complicating my situation. Despite my attempts to resolve this, Cellular Sales' solution was for me to pay for both accounts, an unreasonable expectation since nothing was my fault. The repercussions of this error were manifold. I was unable to process my $850 trade-in due to these account issues. Now, I find myself with three phones: my trade-in, the iPhone 15 Pro Max I paid for but can't use, and a loaner phone that was supposed to be a temporary solution. Yet, neither of the phones I own are of any use to me. I've lost access to essential features and conveniences - my passwords, apps, MagSafe chargers, and even my two-stage authentication for work are all in disarray. For six long months, I've been charged for services I can't use, with no credit for my trade-in, no refunds for the extra expenses, and no compensation for the tremendous inconvenience and frustration. Despite my patient efforts to diagnose and resolve these issues with Cellular Sales, my account situation has only worsened. My patience has been stretched to its limits. All I seek now is an end to this ongoing nightmare. The lack of resolution, accountability, and compensation for my troubles has been deeply disheartening. It's difficult to reconcile this experience with the years of loyalty I've shown to Cellular Sales. My hope in sharing this is that it might prevent similar distress for others and prompt Cellular Sales to take immediate action to resolve such grave errors in the future.Sincerely, Brendon

A word of warning - GO ELSEWHERE to avoid being pressured and deceived. Clearly I should have…read morelooked through reviews before visiting this location. My family and I are longtime Verizon customers with multiple lines and a home internet gateway. We were on vacation in the Hixson area, and I unexpectedly needed to upgrade my device after having consistent battery issues. We've had terrible, fraudulent experiences at retail stores in the past, so I called this location to ask if it were a corporate store. The rep confirmed they were corporate so we headed to the location. We were greeted by Elijah, who later touted himself as a 20+ year employee of Verizon. He very helpfully asked what we needed, and I explained I only needed assistance with a device payoff and upgrade and that we didn't want the runaround we had experienced at retail stores. He then asked what new device I wanted and went to the back. When he returned he had the new phone as well as an unexpected new home internet gateway. He along with his manager Kaylee told us the gateway we had back at home was an outdated device and needed an upgrade. We could simply unplug one and plug in the new one. They assured us we would see no change in billing. We questioned it as we were on vacation and wouldn't be able to return for any issues. Elijah and Kaylee told us there'd be no problem. It was just a hardware upgrade. But we were still skeptical. However, Elijah consistently pressed us to proceed with the exchange along with pressuring for an adding a line (that we didn't need) and device insurance plans (that we didn't want). Elijah said once we were home, we'd just need to call customer service to deactivate the older gateway. I noted at one point the projected next month bill had gone up on their paperwork but was told by Elijah and Kaylee that number was not final and the system was still processing the rest of the transaction. Kaylee said we'd see no change in the bill for the gateway. We were still hesitant, but we allowed the team to proceed with the internet gateway hardware replacement. We got home, plugged in the new gateway and called customer loyalty to deactivate the older gateway...only to find out we'd been lied to repeatedly at this location by Elijah and Kaylee. The loyalty representative revealed that our bill was drastically increasing and our home internet package speed had been downgraded by moving to the new gateway. Needless to say, we were furious after having been lied to and taken advantage of on a vacation. Thankfully the loyalty representative was able to correct the fraudulent behavior of the Hixson location which we are very appreciative of. The loyalty representative suggested we reach out to the location to get the contact info for higher management. Ironically, I spoke with Kaylee and reminded her of our transaction and conversation. She apologized and said she didn't know there'd be a long term billing problem. Long story short, based on our experience and those of many other reviewers, this location has a consistent history of pressuring sales, deception and just overall not being able to be trusted.

None of us want to be without our phone. So I paid to get out of my contract and was sold an iPhone 16 Pro Because the salesman said that was my best option. Of course you have to have a more expensive plan. Do some due diligence before you get screwed. Batteries plus cleaned out the charging port and the phone works great. Except I don't need it now.

It also stopped wanting to use the Verizon app to pay its monthly service bill and stopped wanting to make a call. Last week it shut itself down twice after waking up for the day. I knew it was reaching retirement since it was a little over 2 years old. My normal work routine entails using a cell phone quite frequently throughout the week in many ways. So, I decided to go to a Verizon store to see what my options were to regain full connectivity. I'm so glad I chose this Verizon store location. Upon entering this store, a friendly person named JB greeted me and asked how he could help me. I told him what my iPhone SE was doing. He said that he hadn't seen one working at all in awhile, that most just call it quits conpletely at this stage because that phone's technology is out of date basically. He then looked up my account, saw that I was eligible for an upgrade, and told me about the promotions currently going for the two newest LG android type phones on the market - the two lowest cost options for my type of account. He also showed me some online reviews for those phone models. I decided on the thinner one, the GB ThinQ, since it could fit in my pocket. He setup my new phone, including transferring all of my data, and I walked back into this decade.

My husband and I both work remote and we had two modem routers in our home because we both had the hardwired! Well I started having issues with my modem, so I called customer Service to see if I can get it replaced! Well I'm not gonna get into major details way to much to explain, but needless to say that one representative caused my life total hell with our Internet, billing and issues with work! I went in store and spoke with Jeff the manager, and he was absolutely a sweetheart very kind patient and understanding! He introduced me to Jackie, who is absolutely a sweetheart as well, I believe she's the supervisor! They both did everything they could to get multiple situations fixed and went up and above and beyond for us! Got someone out here to fix our internet issues, and got us up and running! Our internet works so great now! They were able to fix our bill issue as well! Needless to say, I'll never call Customer Service again lol I recommend the store everyone there was very kind sweet and welcoming!! Thank you Jeff & Jackie for all you did for my Husband and I !!

And many have already said it on the many negative reviews I have read here on Yelp. What galls me the most are the long distant 'staff' who answer the phone in heavy accents which sometimes is difficult to understand. And they are, in most cases, sitting in their abode in the Philippines, Mexico and other far flund places. One operator told me she 'had no supervisor' when I asked. I was put on a hold that disconnected soon after. The company seems to have a communication problem ongoing as to entering correct addresses, not keeping up with deliveries/installations and basically answering basic questions. I did finally get a tech person who cleared up the confusion of delivering my router, fixing my correct address and getting a person come over to get my computer/router working together. Hooray for small miracles.
