Highly disappointed. Brought in the Xbox Series X for shutting off randomly. Thought it could have been overheating, so bought some external fans for the Xbox and that did not work. Opened it up and cleaned it as well and that didn't help the issue. I decided to bring it to these guys. They charged me $60.00 up front for a cleaning and thermal paste. I received a call saying that they had no issue with the Xbox and it was ready for pickup, so I thought, hell yeah! All is well! Brought the Xbox home and started gaming, then it shut off after 30 min of gameplay, then an hr and 40 min of gameplay, etc... I called them the next morning to tell them what was going on and someone mentioned how since the Xbox didn't shut off for them, after sitting in a menu, or not actually playing a game on it...they had no issue with it, so they didn't really test it out on a high performance game that would get the system going. So, they didn't even open it up and clean it or put thermal paste on it, and it wasn't even worked on. So, I brought it back, giving them permission to get onto my account so they could actually test the system out properly on a high performing game, and after 2 hrs, the system cut off and they gave me a call. They said they noticed fps issues as well, they were finally going to open it up, clean it, thermal paste it, and see what all is going on. Later that night, I got a call from them, they ran into an issue. There was a nexus cable piece that needed some repair, that could or could not be the issue, of which, would stop them from continuing their diagnostic testing...they had to fix it to be able to go further...they said the repair to solder would be $200...added onto everything else they would find....i got the Xbox in the truck. I don't know if they even did the cleaning or even put the damn thermal paste on it and also, spent $60.00 and a lot of gas money for a lot of running around......update!!!home at 17:15, and went in with an Xbox Series X to this store with it powering off randomly at times and after not wanting to go further with the repair...got home with the xbox and it doesnt even want to turn on anymore. I knew this xbox worked, they knew it worked for testing purposes...then i get home and it doesnt at all. read more

I had a Sony all in one system that started to cut off not even halfway through a cd. Then little to no sound from the speakers. Took the unit to Ubreakifix. Talked to the rep , told him what was going on. Assured me they would check it out and let me know what they found out. This is after I paid a $60 up front fee . So after about a week I get a call and I think they've found the problem. They ask me if I can bring a speaker and some wire by so they can hear what it's doing. I'm thinking an electronic shop that doesn't have basic stuff? Anyway,a few days later I get a call and the tech says there's several boards inside unit and they don't know which one(s) it is so it's up to me to deside what I want to do. Ok, I go pick up the unit , not a screw has been removed to get inside to see inner workings. I take unit home, let me say I'm not an expert on this stuff but I remove the side panels ,look around with the help of a flashlight and low and behold I see some blown fuses on a board. So I replaced said fuses and its like a new unit. In my option,it cost me $60 to know where NOT to take electronics to get them repaired. read more

I brought my phone in for a for a Verizon warranty repair to replace the battery. They tried to replace the battery and told me there was a complication with the paperwork I would have to get with Verizon and straighten it out, I asked them to put the old battery back in and that's when I discovered the speakerphone didn't work after they worked on it. And they're not willing to stay over to fix the problem they created. I offered to return the next day at 5 o'clock because my work schedule. I was told that it was not enough time to look at the problem they close at 7:00. Because of OSHA they couldn't work late! OSHA? again going on day two. In my line of work if I create a problem I'm gonna stay and fix it. Not a lot of motivation with this company, or motivation I don't recommend you bring anything to them. Philip Guill. read more

Don't go there!!!!!!!!!!! Just had them put a new screen on my phone a couple of months ago. The receipt is stored in my phone and the phone screen has failed. The phone is on and making noises but screen is black. They are telling me they cannot fix the phone and then let me show them my receipt from a couple months ago in my phone. They either have to write it up as warranty (I have the receipt at the time of write up) or I have to pay again as they will write it up as non warranty. They say there is no way around this. This leaves me paying for a new screen twice and I guarantee they will get $0 from me. I will go elsewhere. This is horrible customer service. Don't go there!!!!!!!!!!! read more

It says I have to rate it so its one star...but its really a negative 10 stars!! I go into this place to get my screen repaired. He tells me he has to order the part, it'll be 140 and probably a week to get the part. 50% down is required. I agree and he proceeds to tell me cause hes a nice guy, all he is gonna charge me for today is 27.85. and then goes on to tell me that now I have a free membership to some computer repair club or something. I'm thinking that's nice. I don't need that and will never use it but its free so OK. he says he will call e as soon as the screen comes in. I wait almost 2 weeks and I notice the charge on my card for 27.85. I get this email from somthing called Assuron telling me I have signed up for some membership. Me still thinking it was free...paid it no mind. I call the store to check on my screen and the guys says he cant get me a screen at all. So after a lot of screaming, I find out that the guy knew he could not get me a screen, (which is why he only charged me 27.85) which it turns out is a monthly membership fee to the computer fix it. I did not authorize any membership to any such program, I asked him to give me back all my money and to cancel the membership since I never ordered it. They told me I had to call this Assuron myself. He could not help me. HES THE ONE WHO "SOLD" IT TOO ME!!!!! RIP OFF PLACE!!! watchout here!! read more

Had an iPhone 7 screen repaired here. I dropped it off and they gave me 2 options. Replace with and OEM screen or an after market screen which was much cheaper. I chose the after market. They quoted 3 hrs to fix but had it done in about 1 1/2 hrs. Very knowledgeable and upfront. read more

I couldn't do a no star review so I did 1. I attempted to clean my ps4 pro and got 1/4 into the process and saw it didn't really need it so I replaced the screws and everything else, blew it out with air duster went to start it back up and it wouldn't start back up. Took it to uBreakiFix and they were very nice and seemed to want o help me. The whole time they were trying to get me to sign up on some $24.99 plan that I had heard some bad things on and they kept trying and trying and trying and trying to get me to commit to it and I said no. Left it there over night and the next day about 5:00pm they called and said that they couldn't fix it because there was a stripped screw in the power supply so I went back and picked it back up. I took it home and disassembled it again and removed the PSU in about 5 minutes. I think they just wanted me to pay $24.99 a month for the service. Don't get me wrong I get it but, I don't want it!!!
