These guys went ABOVE & BEYOND…read more I'll be honest, I went into the store as a skeptic, as I'm a long-time Mac user and it has been my experience that most 'generic' PC repair stores can only do minimum Mac repairs or would prefer not to deal with them at all. BOY, was I surprised! I took in my old 2009 Macbook Pro for a plethora of issues -- none critical, just things that I'd been putting up with for WAY too long. (It's not my primary computer, but I do use it for non-essential tasks, such as blog writing and burning vinyl LPs to cd, etc.) The issues it had included a cracked screen, a dead SuperDrive, blown speakers, and a cracked keyboard key. I expected they might able to address one or two of the problems, if that. Not only were they able to resolve ALL of the issues, but were able to do so at a very reasonable price (they happened to have used parts on-hand) with a very short turnaround (I believe it was only a day.) They are now my "go-to" computer store, and I will be dropping off my THIRD repair request to them later this week. So, in summing -- go by and see Perry & Mitchell at PC & P.I.* Computers in East Brainerd. * Their name sounds for "Personal Computer Private Investigators" btw . . .

I would not recommend doing business with this repair service…read more My mother gave him my daughter's iPad on May 19, and he told her he could fix it. He was paid upfront the same day. After that, I received no updates unless we reached out first. Every time we asked for an ETA, we got the runaround instead of clear communication. After having the iPad for nearly two weeks, he finally admitted he could not fix it and refunded the money. However, he then said he needed to remove his parts from the iPad before returning it. Today is June 2, and I still have not received my daughter's iPad back. This is an iPad that cost over $400, and I am extremely frustrated that it has been in his possession for weeks with little communication and no resolution. The lack of updates, professionalism, and failure to return my property in a timely manner is unacceptable. Based on my experience, I would not trust this business with anything beyond a basic iPhone repair.
