Review for Nick at Verizon on Manatee Avenue:…read more I had a very disappointing experience with Nick at the Verizon store on Manatee Avenue. Despite having insurance on my previous phone, I was supposed to receive a mail-back for the old device. Instead, John provided me with a replacement phone, and now I'm being charged the full price of a new phone, even though I just paid off my last iPhone. This situation has caused me unnecessary financial strain and frustration. I hope Verizon addresses this issue promptly. I've contact Verizon at least four times since I've expected a phone call back I haven't received any and this phone is worse than the last iPhone I had which is an earlier version this phone doesn't receive phone calls. I receive nothing but spam constantly to now my insurance is messed up because I don't answer my phone because it's nothing but people from India and now my insurance is screwed up and I'm getting bills because I don't answer my phone even though I pay an arm and a leg for Verizon and now I pay for a new phone 1200+ bill smh !!!! CAN YOU HEAR ME NOW????

I would feel very comfortable purchasing our new phones from this location bc of their excellent customer service.

Subject: Complaint Regarding AT&T Store Waitlist and Customer Service…read more Yesterday, after my phone was stolen, I went to an AT&T store to restore my phone line. I added my name to the waitlist and was instructed to wait for text message notifications. I received a text confirming that I was next in line and that I would be notified by text when it was my turn. I waited outside the store for an hour and a half, relying on the notification system exactly as instructed. I never received another text. Instead, the store closed, and I was later told that employees had called my name. This is completely unacceptable. If customers are asked to provide their phone numbers and wait for text notifications, they should be able to rely on that system. I should not have to stand outside for an hour and a half only to discover that the store had called my name instead of sending the promised notification. I was already dealing with the stressful situation of having my phone stolen. The lack of communication made an already difficult situation considerably worse and wasted a significant amount of my time. I would appreciate an explanation of what happened and how AT&T intends to resolve this situation. I also hope the store will review its waitlist procedures so other customers do not experience the same problem. I look forward to your response.

First of all we had purchased our new phone from a different location and had to go to the Brandon store to pick it up. The store was clean, well stocked and had comfortable seating. Kai greeted us when we entered the store. He was with another customer at the time but after a couple of minutes, came over to help us. He was very informative, patient and professional. Kai made sure we understood the new changes we would experience with the phone, informed us about accessories we were interested in and made sure the new phone was set up properly. Because we had purchased the phone elsewhere, he knew he would not be able to receive commission on the sale. However, he treated us exceptionally well. Kai is an asset to this buisiness and we highly recommend this location! Thanks Kai! Sandy & Michael D.
