I had an awesome experience at this store. My parents and I are on a plan together, and it was a very old plan that cost a lot more than their new ones. I gathered in the information for my Dad, he went in, and got the contract switched at no charge and very quickly. Our store associate was Kiel Chavez. My boyfriend and I came after my Dad, because he wanted to be added to our plan. We let Kiel know that we were looking for a lower budget phone and about a deal we had heard about to get a tablet with a new phone. Kiel recommended phones that were on the lower price range, instead of trying to make us buy the most expensive one like they usually would. After we selected the phone we decided against the tablet deal because it was a bit too much money. Keil ended up giving us some seriously amazing discounts. He lowered my monthly payments by half and lowered some other costs too. Everything ended up being an AMAZING deal and was totally worth it! He was also incredibly friendly and helpful, and could multitask better than anyone I've ever seen before. The best part is that even before he gave us the discounts, our cell phone plan was LESS THAN HALF as much as my boyfriend's AT&T plan! This particular US Cellular store is great and I recommend going to Kiel. But aside from just the store, US Cellular is a really good phone company with some of the best prices of any phone. I recommend anyone switch to it if you're not sure about your current provider. read more

Staff really overstates how well their accessories work. Was told to buy a certain case to avoid breakage; long story short the phone fell from a height the salesman described the case would help to avoid breakage and the screen cracked. Talked to the salesman, manager and customer service to be told nothing we can do, pay the deductible and you can't return the case. read more

Last October I took advantage of turning in my iPhone from Sprint in order to qualify for a free iPhone from US Cellular. I was told that it would be charged per month yet there would be a credit appearing soon on the billing cycle. Since I was on auto pay I started to look into my bill and why it was not going down. What I learned is that the credit for the phone did not appear. I contacted customer service and she stated that she put in an order to back credit the charges and that going forward the charges would be credited. I received a text, not a call, that they would not be providing me a credit because they did not receive my phone! I texted them back to have a Manager call me, never happened. I even provided the branch and the name of the person I gave the phone to. This is very poor customer service to text someone instead of calling not to mention that they advertise like crazy that they have no "fees". They don't need fees if they dupe their potential customers. If you are considering joining a cellular carrier based on a "special" then this company may not be your best solution. read more
