Last week I took in two watches that needed new batteries. The Tech that worked on them accidentally smashed the crystal lens on one of them. He reported it to Sean Paris, the Store Manager, who told him to show it to me and apologize and then told me that it would be sent out for repair, at no cost to me. I was impressed by the professionalism Sean showed. A few days later, I got a call saying that UPS had lost the item and that I should pick out a replacement and let him know what it was,. I did so and today I received a call that my new watch was in. I am very pleased with the watch and totally impressed with how Sean handled it all. read more

Service is a little slower when they have some sort of deal like free battery testing. The repair techs are a little variable, but one time I got this guy who figured out how to change the battery on this really peculiar desk clock I have. On the other hand, I've had less than satisfactory results on my Fiat key fob battery, but it might be the key fob not the technician. I've been in here and they've done a good quick job with replacing watch batteries, and once in a while they just can't do it. You should know I'm bringing in very cheap watches (I'm into quantity over quality when it comes to wristwatches) so it's really not all their fault. Be aware of what things cost, I come in for some repair work, but then pick up an overpriced flashlight or light bulb when I come in. That's also on me, of course. I've been coming here for many years for different battery needs. My most recent trip was for a replacement battery for a keyfob for my car. The young lady behind the counter asked me if I had "lifetime" set up. I knew I did not, but asked about it. Essentially, my battery would cost $8, but for $19 (including the $8 for the battery), I can have it replaced in this keyfob for as long as I own the car. The battery will get replaced every 12-15 months, so the next time will be almost a break even and the time after that and beyond, I come out ahead. I always receive great service at this location, and now I know I can save money too, with the right battery need. read more

This review is really for the repair part of the store. I am a dumbass and smashed my phone. (The work one of course!) Batteries Plus was $50 cheaper than UBreak and $30 cheaper than Cellaris (you get a $10 coupon for scheduling online). Online scheduling was pretty easy and it was no hassle dropping off and picking up. My repair took about 1 1/2 hours and cost around $85 (6S screen repair only). There's nowhere in the store to wait so you'll have to leave your device and come back later. read more

Came in to see if my Car Fob batteries needed replacement. The store was empty, but shortly after I walked in, someone from the backroom came out and asked if I needed and help. He was very upfront, told me he could test the batteries if they were low and how much it would cost. Took my keys in back and checked them, and 5 minutes later walked back out and said they were low and he installed the new batteries for me. Quick and painless - about $9 each fob. read more

Solid. They installed a new car battery in my Nissan Murano. I got it cheap online. No installation fee. It took two guys 45 minutes to install the battery due to them having to remove a bunch of parts to reach the battery. They were hot and sweaty, but did it without complaining or charging us. Great service. Reasonable prices. Most recently, I brought in an electric toothbrush that needed a new battery. I ended up with sort of what I needed. I got two AAA flats but they were missing soldering tabs. I called them back and they said if we brought them back he'd put those on for us, free of charge. This place is great. I always go the extra mile to make the customer happy. I really appreciate them. read more

Batteries Plus has definitely been a place for me when in a jam. I really like that you can purchase a battery and it is already charged and ready to go. This comes in handy when the motorcycle or scooter batteries die and you don't have to wait to charge them up to ride. Currently under remodeling so not the best place to visit at the present time, their stock is in storage units in the back and there is pretty much nothing in the store. Generally it is filled with any battery you need and all kinds of cool gadgets. Service - hit or miss. In the past I have had great service, extremely helpful. Currently, not so much. The two women who were there the last time I was in seemed to hate their jobs because they were just not friendly or polite to anyone they helped and the services was so sloooooow. Let's hope when they remodel, the hire new staff. I will continue to go when needed, which isn't often because it is convenient and they will probably have what I need. FYI - after the remodel they will carry all kinds of light bulbs now. Not sure how that goes together but all power to them. read more

I think there's some unfair and incoherent reviews on here, first of all (talkin about you, Erin B). Batteries Plus will do installations, yes, but they're not auto mechanics. I've come here for a lot of things and always had great service. The fact that they can repair/replace smashed phone screens (which replaces more than just the glass, for what it's worth) and have them working like new again for sometimes less than the price of a new phone is amazing. That saved my ass from going to Verizon to fork over another few pounds of flesh. Their car battery installation is really handy, but your battery compartment has to be in an easily accessible location. If it's someplace weird like under a seat (as it is in my father's SUV), they don't have a lift or the equipment required to get at that area so you have to take it to the dealer or another auto shop, sorry folks. For "normal" cars, the battery is generally under the hood and that's no problem. These guys are so cool, they even offered to fix up my husband's car hood when it wasn't latching right. All it took was some WD-40, which they happily produced, applied, and worked with the latch until it was functioning properly. No charge! Just nice service. Yes, batteries are expensive. But it's pretty impressive the range of stuff you can get here. Laptop running hot and slow? New battery for less than a new laptop! Super convenient location too, even if the parking lot is kind of a tough one. read more

If I could get give it less than one star I would. Bought a Duracell battery for my riding lawnmower end of last May and the battery is completely dead and won't even hold a charge. The first battery I had in my riding lawn more was a craftsman and lasted 10 years. Also buyer bought a battery end of last fall for my dog training collar and that battery also dead when I tried using it. I guess I'll take my business somewhere else since they do not stand behind their product. My company buys quite a few products of their hours and since I'm the person in charge I will direct our maintenance personnel to work with other vendors given my poor experience at the store. read more

Second time scheduling a replacement battery on an IPhone and this time everything went great. Scheduled online, dropped it off and it was ready in 45 minutes. They did not use an Apple battery but the Rayovac replacement brought the phone back to peak performance. Comes with a 6 month warranty as well. read more

I never leave reviews but feel this needs to be pointed out to the managers at batteries plus. I've bought at least 5-10 batteries over the years from this place, today the installer couldn't even find the battery in my vehicle. Now if you can't locate a battery there's no way I want you working on any of my vehicles. This makes me wounded just what short cuts have been done on previous cars I've taken there. The manager should be held accountable for this error on a battery store. I mean it's basically what they do. I'm only giving two stars because when I went there before they seemed to know what they were doing, and I haven't had a problem since, but this time was such a waist of my time..... read more

We purchased a car battery here that should have lasted at least 5 years, due to the location of the battery (under the backseat of an SUV) it had be installed at the dealership to a cost of $150. Two months later we need a new battery and all Batteries Plus will do about it replace the original battery. So we get to spend another $150 to have it installed again and hope we don't have the same issue in 2 months. Clearly not worth the original $50 we saved by buying the battery through them.
