    Screen protector already peeling off after 20 minutes

    Out of 3 experiences I've had at this particular store, I haven't had a positive one yet, today being the most recent bad experience. Let me be clear: if good customer service is what you seek, look elsewhere. I just got a new iPhone 8 at this store, and while I was trying to get everything switched over, the store associate was continually trying to upsell my wife and me on things we didn't want, like cell phones and smart watches for our toddlers (what??), accessories to hook up to our car, and more. One add-on I did reluctantly purchase was a screen protector; I never had one before and my last phone was fine, but since we were in the store and they could put it on for me, I went for it. When they finished applying the exorbitantly expensive screen protector, the upper left corner hadn't adhered to the screen, and the associate reassured me that it would seat in a couple of days. It didn't. Weeks later, I took it back in when 20% of the screen was covered in an air bubble. A different associate said she would "do me a favor this one time" to replace the protector that they originally messed up and didn't apply properly. Once again, the edges were not adhered to the screen, and once again I was reassured that it would seat in a couple of days. I was also told that I would have to take it to the Zagg counter at Mayfair next time and they would handle it. Today, with 25% of my screen covered in an air bubble that happened because the second screen protector was not properly installed, I took it to Zagg where I was told I had to pay $15 for my "lifetime warranty replacement" - Of course I wouldn't pay another dime, so I took it back to this store, where the Verizon employee refused to replace it, then got a manager to tell me they would "do me a favor" and get one sent to me in the mail so I could put it on myself. I argued until they got tired of me, they finally caved, and improperly installed another screen protector. I left, but not before they made it explicitly clear that they would not take responsibility for any more of their mistakes in the future. In my line of work, if my workmanship is poor, I'm held responsible for it and I fix it. I don't tell people I'm "doing them a favor" when I fix my mistakes. I also don't tell them to call somebody else and pay them more money to fix my mistakes when I've offered a lifetime warranty. Now I get to wait for my screen protector's existing air bubble (from 20 minutes ago) to expand to the point of being intolerable, I will revisit the store, and I will not leave until they either replace it again or credit my account for their mistake. And maybe if they don't treat me like a liar taking advantage of them I will add a star or two to this review.

    Good experience is sufficient staff available to answer questions. This was always a problem in the past. Staff is pleasant and helpful.

    Absolutely disgusted with Verizon. Never got proper cell service and they are charging me $1400 to get out! Run!!

The guy who helped us didn't try to sell him on BS warranties or unneeded options. In fact, he told the Mister he was eligible for extra discounts because of where he works. It's been about three months now and still no problems, no surprises, and no dropped calls. It was an easy process to purchase my new phone and its been fine since day one. After having a Crackberry through US Cellular for six painful years, its been a relief to have clear reliable service with Verizon. I don't miss US Cell, and I don't miss the series of shitty Blackberries my employer has provided me with over the years. If there is a museum out there looking for artifacts for their cell phone display, I have one of every BB since the 7100. Remember that one? it was the one that was the size of an iPad and had that retarded thumb wheel on the side. But I digress... Now that I have my $0.01 iPhone 4, those are all faint memories for me now. I love that damn thing. I feel I'm now finally "one of the cool kids." Verizon, can you hear me now? Thank you for not sucking as much as US Cellular.

I…read morehave been a customer of Verizon for over 15 + years and I got tired of looking at the all discounts/freebies for new customers on their web site over the years. I contacted them and asked what do you have for long time loyal customers because I wanted a new phone and I was told absolutely nothing for current customers. This kind of left a bad tast in my mouth because I have been with them for so long and I was not offered 0 for my loyalty and some Joe shmo walks in and gets the goodies. I looked at US cellular and they had a promo of up to $650 for switching phone numbers to them so I went over to find out more, I know I'm not getting $650 to switch over. Brandon went over all the options/promos and I was only eligible for $250 off the galaxy S9 with a $100 gift card, well that's a total of $350 which is not bad so I bought the S9, two week new on the market which I didn't know. Well US Cellular is now my new cell company and the whole experience was easy with no activation fees and forward pricing. In the S9 box was a so called $100 retail value wired headphones by Harmon that actually sounded very good but lacked bass, I transferred music in via computer to test them into the phone. Crisp/tight with nice highs and very clear for ear buds. All Verizon had to do is look at my length of time with them and if they threw like $50 off a new phone I would have felt good and bought a new phone from them but unfortunately they could care less even when I told the of the US Cell promos, so I'm a new US cellular customer now.
