I set up the appointment at Best Buy and they told me there would be no cost for me for replacing the battery under my warranty. I get there in naturally their geek squad has a bunch of people that just sit down with you and try to upsell you services and what not. I didn't agree to anything and told her I just wanted the battery replaced under warranty. The geek representative told me it would be $29. I calmly told her that Apple told me there'd be no charge and when I set up the appointment, you guys told me there'd be no cost for battery replacement. She said that's how they get paid which I know it is a lie. I proceeded to tell her that I would no longer do business with Best Buy ever and took my phone and walk out of the store and called AppleCare. AppleCare was all apologetic and told me that they would send me a box to ship my phone into them however take at least a week before I get it back with a new battery in it at NO cost to me! I found a small selection of 50 inch TVs that met my requirements. The checkout process was straightforward, and I was able to split the purchase between a prepaid debit card with a small remaining balance and my regular credit card. A pretty uneventful, but successful visit.
