Milwaukee PC (MPC) built a custom workstation that has had "Zero" failures after 11 years and 9000 hrs of use. The technical/store personnel are very courteous, speak in laymen's terms that a non computer tech can understand. Recently my MicrosoftOutlook app stopped functioning. I tried everything to reconfigure system and it didn't work. So, the technical store supervisor reconfigured email and was on my way in less than an hour. As a result, I picked MPC to build a new updated system that was cheaper today than 11 years ago. There was an emergency situation and someone needed computer equipment. I couldn't get there before they closed but I called and told them what was going on and they agreed to let me in a few minutes after they closed. This was a situation that involved computer systems, Covid-19, and communication among healthcare workers and also with patients. Letting me in 10 min. after close wasn't much in itself but letting me get what was needed was a very big deal. read more

This company definitely lacks in customer service. My parents bought a custom built computer with an extended warranty 4 months ago and ran into some issues last week with it shutting down and restarting continuously. My mom took time off from work to take it in and hopefully get it repaired before Christmas. She explained everything she tried and what was going on and the man (using that term loosely) told her it sounded like a software issue and wrote on the work form "won't boot up, call customer" What a shame my mom wasted so much explanation, to just have to explain it all again when they call. Then my mom was told to sign 2 forms that were hard to read on the pinpad and the "kid" (a much better term) just told her to "hit agree." She asked what she just agreed to now twice and his comment back was "You just gave us your first born, although you are pretty old to just be having kids. So maybe you have a son that is looking for a job here?" My mom stared at the "kid" and wondered if that really just happened. She let the "kid" know that her son is a mechanical engineer with better manners. He didn't have anything to say back. (To clarify, my mom is in her early 50s and works with computers everyday as she runs the computers in the middle school at the school she teaches at. So we aren't talking about someone that just came in and said "it doesn't work - fix it") So an entire week went by with no call about the computer and my mom finally pushed them yesterday to get something going on it. They said it was a software issue that isn't covered under the warranty and they would get it done but my mom would have to reload all her software herself then. She spoke to managers and supervisors and explained again that she came to them to purchase a computer because of the customization etc. She said that she didn't want to get back less of a computer than she started with and told them they can spend the time reinstalling all the programs that were removed seeing as she is already paying them to fix it. So they now will have the computer through Monday and she prays that the computer is going to function normally again. After talking to numerous managers about the "kid's" attitude with her, she was informed that they were all reprimanded for their customer service and in a mumbled sentence "it shouldn't ever happen again." Definitely not getting what my mom paid for for her computer and because of their lack of customer service skills when someone is spending over a grand at the store, I would not recommend anyone using them. read more

A few years back, I purchased a desktop computer from Milwaukee PC and they shipped it to me in Nevada. We are originally from Wisconsin and we had good luck with them in the past. Just today, our internet provider upgraded our system as they had put fiber in our neighborhood. I found out my desktop was not WIFI enabled as I had been using a hardwired router and never had a need to find out. I called Milwaukee PC and spoke with Andy who was extremely helpful and gave me some great advice! He knocked it out of the park! Since I purchased my desktop, there was one other time I had called Milwaukee PC with a question and they took the time to give great advice without making me feel like I was bothering them. Very helpful, great warranties, prices are decent. Their stock is a bit limited but great for pc hardware.

What a waste of time. Had 12 computers in our office that we wanted a security program installed on. Scheduled an appointment with Tom and arranged so that someone from management would be available at the scheduled time. Tom did not call or show. Re-scheduled for another date and guess what.......Tom NO CALL, NO SHOW again. If you have nothing better to do than waste time, these are your guys!!! read more

I had taken in 7 VHS tapes that are 30 years old to be converted into DVD disks. Not knowing what the condition they were in. I was so happy on the excellent job Milwaukee PC on 108th did. The pictures are very good and the sound is real clear. They also label all the DVDS and what were in them. Very satisfy with them. I would recommend them to all my friends. read more

Horrible experience. Took my pc in because it was overheating. Didn't get any calls or updates except one to ask what my password was. When I got my computer home and turned it on it is now making a really loud noise as if they damaged one of the fans. Wouldn't recommend to anyone... read more

Our Desk Top computer stopped working - my husband took it in and within a very short amount of time they fixed the problem while he waited and he was on his way. And at no charge to boot!! Thank you vey much for fixing it and the great customer service! read more

***Warning*** At MPC Customer Service and Customer Service Satisfaction is not in their vocabulary. I have been a customer of their DSL Internet service for 13 years because I an't afford TWC or AT&T. I have bought a custom built PC from them and many of my computer accessories from them and not once have I had a good customer service interaction. They are rudest company I have ever dealt with including upper management. I would never recommend MPC for anything ever. read more

Took my computer in and everyone was nice and friendly, same when I picked it up. Took quite a while to get the computer back since I didn't get a call from them, they didn't have my phone number entered in their computer correctly and said when they tried to call the number was not in service. When I took it home it no longer had my anti-virus protection. Called and left a message and never got a call back. Called again a few days later and spoke with a guy I think had worked on my computer. He was very rude and said it was nothing they did. All I wanted was for him to help me get it back and he continued to be rude and said it was something I must have done to it. I told him it was working fine until I took it to them. He was again very rude saying it was nothing they did. I got no satisfaction from him, kept my cool, told him I guess I wouldn't be doing business with them any longer and he hung up on me. Felt like they did not care about me as a customer so I will not be returning to them for any future business. read more

Their customer service hasn't improved from two years ago [see the first review]. I bought my computer from them in December, 2005 and got excellent results with it for the six years I ran a private law practice. Two weeks ago, it got stuck in a "boot loop", so I took it in and took advantage of their advertised offer to "clean" the computer for a hundred bucks. As I have backup discs, I didn't accept the offer to reinstall some programs for up to another hundred. The "kid" [accurate description] at the service desk told me it would take "about an hour" to do the work, but that as he had to also deal with customers at the desk, it might take longer to get the computer back. That was a Thursday morning. I phoned that late afternoon, to be told that it wasn't ready. He sounded annoyed that I'd even ask, and even more so when I suggested that a call telling me it wasn't ready would have been welcome. He claimed they were too busy to do that. So comes Friday, and all morning goes by with no call. I finally drove over there and waited for a call, but none came. I called at 4:30, to be told "they're working on it" and it would "definitely be ready before c losing today". No call. Finally, one half-hour before closing, I walked in and there was my computer still hooked up to the diagnostic machine! The guy who'd been working on it had left for the day. The tech at the desk did finish it, and I took it home. It works, but the CD tray is now stuck. Further, they didn't bother to tell me that Windows XP, which I was running, is going to be unsupported in a few months, or that my computer isn't powerful enough to support Windows 7. So I spent a hundred dollars fixing something that I can't use anymore, and there's nothing I can do about that but to post this review and ADVISE YOU TO AVOID MILWAUKEE PC LIKE IT WAS WEAPONS-GRADE PLUTONIUM! read more
